Home Instead have been providing care for my elderly parents for a year now. They are getting progressively frail and Mum has severe memory loss (Dementia) and my step dad is going blind. The excellent carers visit daily for an hour to encourage them to get up, wash, take their tablets. They provide them with breakfast and do household chores. My Mum was very resistant to having any one in her home, but has now accepted their help and is extremely fond of both carers. My Step Dad loves their company, and looks forward to their daily chats and banter. They have become trusted friends. I have been able to take a 3 week holiday, safe in the knowledge they are being cared for. They even helped with video calls, it was wonderful keep in contact with my parents whilst traveling. Home Instead enable my parents to continue to maintain their independence and live in their own home, and give us the reassurance they are safe. I simply don't know how we would cope without them.

My 94 year old mother visits for a week every month in order to give her a change of scene and to give my sister who she lives next door to a break. Home Instead has enabled us to do this. They provide professional, empathetic and reliable carers that my mother now considers to be friends who she looks forward to seeing. I would recommend Home Instead to anyone looking for help caring for a loved one.

My father's dearest wish was to live in his own home for as long as possible after my mum passed away in 2018. And at the age of 96 he has only just a week ago moved into a care home. The only reason he managed to stay in his house for so long was due to the care and service provided by Home Instead. Genuinely warm and caring team, who he grew extremely fond of and always looked forward to their visits.

I would absolutely echo all the other reviews of Home Instead. We have been using Home Instead to provide daily visits for my elderly mother who now lives with us after the death of my father. Mum has significant cognitive decline and the carers bring an upbeat energy, enthusiasm and kindness with them which has proven a tonic for her (and for us!). Highly, highly recommended.

We have had support from Home Instead for almost two years. I have really appreciated Home Instead's approach, the way they work professionally, and the team that has supported Mum. I realise the amount of support the team at Home Instead has given Mum and also me! They have gone above and beyond, and have helped me to keep sane through some difficult times with Mum's health and changing health and circumstances. They have been a font of knowledge and advice, I have learnt a lot from them in terms of caring for Mum and services.

Highly recommend Home Instead. So much better than other companies. The professionalism and care for my father was brilliant from the initial meeting until the very end of his life. They went out of their way to accommodate and train for all his needs.

I cannot thank Home Instead enough for the care, kindness, and support, the Care Professionals gave to my Mum and the Office team to me over the last few years. Nothing was ever too much trouble, even at sometimes very short notice. The Care Professionals who visited Mum were amazing, and Mum always looked forward to their visits and considered them all Friends. I would highly recommend Home Instead to anyone who is looking for care at home.

Home Instead have been providing care for my dad for 1 and a half years and my siblings and I have been very impressed by them. They always keep us informed of anything important and we never feel out of the loop which helps put our minds at rest. The care pros are hard working and help Dad do lots of jobs around the house as well as helping him with basic needs like showering and getting dressed. Most importantly, the care pros are friendly and provide excellent company, which is so important for Dad's well-being and to keep his brain stimulated. My 3 siblings and I are very grateful for the help that the team at Home Instead provide and we highly recommend them to anyone else out there who needs support caring for a loved one.

Mum had been using Home Instead for a while, getting familiar people in place for company and potential care, should she need it down the road. And boy, did she need it. After a serious illness a few months ago, Home Instead whirled into action, stepped up two visits a week to three visits a day, provided me with much-needed emotional and professional support and then stepped back again as Mum began to recover, promoting her independence as much as they could. They aren't cheap, but you really get what you pay for, and with me living hundreds of miles away, it's deeply reassuring to know that my mother is in safe hands, dealing with people she respects and likes.

I could not recommend Home Instead enough. They are just brilliant from the office team to the carers, knowing that my nana has that support from the team is lovely and makes me feel at ease. She is looked after so brilliantly and they do everything with such care and are so thoughtful and always there for her when I can’t be and I appreciate that so much. The best thing we could have done as a family is sign up to Home Instead so a big thank you to everybody.

Home Instead has been amazing in every way from my very first enquiry to the execution of my designated helpers staring. It is worth 15/10. My assessment was so professional and personal. Then the follow-up was truly stunning. Pictures and times of who would be attending and when. The 3 people all turned up bang on time, so punctual, became instant friends, saw what I needed, responded to anything I needed. None of the three 'clock watched', were totally involved and so very enthusiastic about their job. They are a breath of fresh air. Please maintain the high standard. Totally stunning.

The team at Home Instead looked after my mother very well during the year or so we used them before we took the difficult decision to place her in a care home full-time. My mother formed strong bonds with each carer who came to see her twice a day, and they took a genuine interest in her, and looked after her, giving her a precious extra year in the family home. Would certainly recommend them without hesitation.

My father has received excellent support from Home Instead. When my Dad initially needed more support at home, he was reluctant to have carers. The Home Instead team suggested a weekly Companion visit, to take Dad out for a coffee or activity. Very soon he was looking forward to these outings. When Dad became more frail, Home Instead were able to provide him with a daily care visit at very short notice. The carers treated Dad with kindness, encouragement and dignity. I would highly recommend Home Instead to anyone requiring care and support at home.

We have been using Home Instead for two years and they assist my father on a daily basis. All the staff are caring and supportive and really do make a difference. My father’s wellbeing and mental health is much improved with their reliability and support. Ten out of ten, they really do go the extra mile.

We have never regretted asking Home Instead to help us care for my elderly mother. The caregivers who have visited her (twice a week for some time now) have combined a professional and effective approach with genuine warmth and compassion. We have been especially impressed by the ways in which a number of staff members have cultivated an appropriate - and much appreciated - friendship with my mother. Although we visit my mother as often as we can, Home Instead provide another caring presence in my mother's home. They also maintain a watchful, yet unobtrusive, oversight of her welfare, flagging up issues which we might not have spotted. Furthermore, in the background, the management and administrative personnel have always been readily available to us. Their suggestions and advice have always been given with intelligence and professional courtesy. We have no hesitation in commending Home Instead to anyone in our situation.

Sadly we lost my father recently, he was 92 and lived independently at home until the very end. The director and her team were instrumental in this. It was Dad's wish that he would not go into a home and despite his failing health, he retained his marbles until the end. The director and team were kind, patient, and incredibly flexible and responsive, upping and slowing care as needed, and putting up with his sharp tongue and medical complexities. There are no words that can truly express how grateful we are for this amazing service but it is testament that even while we are grieving we wanted to publicly thank the director and her team.
