View Full Details of Compassionate Care Team LtdI've been using this service since September and it is ongoing. I have been listened to and treated with dignity, always ensuring I am safe and cared for.
We were very pleased with Compassion Care Team Ltd's service for over two years. The carers were reliable and usually demonstrated good timekeeping on their visits to my dad. They oversaw all his medication needs, prompting him when necessary and assisting him with different tasks. He was also grateful for their general compassion, conversation and company during what would otherwise have been a very lonely existence at times. The service was good, effective and professional. I don't want to single any carer out in particular, but special mention must go to one support worker in particular, who attended to dad on a regular basis, please pass on our thanks to this support worker and her trusty pushbike! Also the family would like to thank the management team, including the director and assistant manager, who addressed any problems or changes that arose with speed and efficiency, albeit on the rare occasions such action was required. I would highly recommend the service provided by the Compassionate Care Team to anyone. Many thanks.
Always find the carers helpful and supportive.
It's nice to know someone is popping in to see me in the morning to make sure I am alright. All the ladies are pleasant and helpful.
My wife has been bed bound with dementia for over a year and two carers come in twice a day for her personal care. All the ladies that come are always friendly and helpful. They not only keep my wife shipshape, they will give me advice from time to time on how I can best help her. I am in the house when they come and they normally have a quick chat when they leave to tell me how she responded and let me know if there are any issues that I should be aware of. These ladies are a lifeline for me as I could not cope with my wife without their help. Their cheerful and positive approach is much appreciated and a great support for me caring for my wife.
Everything seems to be in order and my father is well looked after, for which I thank you. Sometimes he needs to go to the doctor and you are very kind to take him. His medication is given correctly and we know he is visited twice daily, which is a great relief as I live overseas.
The care and support I receive is really good. All the carers that visit me are very friendly and put me at ease. I like the fact that where possible it is the same carer that comes. My daughter is happy and relieved that I am looked after so well in the morning which takes some of the pressure off of her. Would definitely recommend the Compassionate Care Team to others.
The care varies between individual carers and therefore I think clearer communication is needed when carers change. On occasions, no fresh cordial or drink has been left in the sitting room, blinds not drawn and no communication left in the diary to say who has visited. It is really useful for carers to put a few words so that relatives can action any needs. One carer, in particular, is excellent at communication via the diary and we have been able to provide the necessary items/needs. Value for money - sometimes the lunchtime carer has only stayed for 5-10 minutes as evidenced by companions and friends that visit. Overall, it is between satisfactory to good and all efforts to care for our relative are very much appreciated. Thank you.
Overall, I am very pleased with the work done by the carers with regard to dealing with my wife's needs. But - the timing of morning and evening visits are really not convenient. What is required in the morning - 9.00-9.30 am and evening - 7.00-8.00 pm. What I would have found helpful at the start would have been a list of what the carers can/would do at the visits. I could name names but basically, I am pleased with the work done.
I find the girls very pleasant. After being in hospital I needed time to build up my strength, so very slow. The time we have now, 9.00-9.30 AM, is good - sorry they couldn't come at night when needed after coming out of hospital.
Always feel supported by carers and they are happy to help as much as possible. Don’t always get the call time I like but understand the issues that cause this. It’s nice that I generally have the same carers to care for me.
We have used the company for nearly a year now and we are very satisfied with them. All the staff are very kind and caring and make Mum feel at ease. They are very good at keeping me informed of anything I need to know about Mum. Also, if I ever need to get in touch with the office for any reason the staff are also very helpful. All in all very happy with the way Mum is cared for.
Very pleased with the service we get.
Mum has carers twice a week to help her shower and wash her hair. They are always caring and efficient in a particularly challenging year.
Thank you - it’s early days but Mum is very happy with the carers - the office have been very helpful and responsive to enquiries. And we have peace of mind that Mum is safer, supported and less isolated.
My mum has been cared for by Compassionate Care for well over a year. They have been brilliant with her despite her worsening condition. Nothing has been too much for them. At the drop of a hat, we have added days and times. Not a problem. Mum is happy in their care. Cannot fault their professionalism. Very friendly. Always keep relatives informed.
Very good service and I can’t complain. I am always pleased to see all of my carers when they come to carry out my care. I also find the management team very fair in all areas. Overall I am happy with the service I receive from the company.
Very friendly and approachable care workers and managers. Always willing to help out with requests or suggestions. I have found the care workers to be trustworthy and honest and always kind and sympathetic with mum.
Very good service. A good rapport with all carers who are excellent.
I have experienced certain carers who do not do his care and seem to think they are the boss and only do what they want to do but fill in the app that they have done everything. It is not acceptable and my brother is treated as a victim. This is an upsetting issue for him. They take advantage of his vulnerability.
