View Full Details of Focus Care Link - Waltham Forest BranchJust under a year ago, my mum was discharged from the hospital with a care package with Focus Care. My mum is wheelchair-bound and bed-bound, so her needs can be quite complex. I was so worried about trusting anyone with my mum in her home that we had cameras put in, but all my worries disappeared very quickly when we saw the level of care my mum was receiving. The care my mum receives is to a good professional standard. Not only is the personal care brilliant, but the respect and keeping my mum's dignity intact is second to none. The way the staff have gotten to build a relationship with her is irreplaceable. She trusts them wholeheartedly. I have found that if problems do arise, the company is very prompt at communicating and between us, we resolve any issues, even during out-of-hours. The carers really are caring and go above and beyond what they get paid to do. I'm nothing but grateful for all the care my mum has so far received and continues to receive from focus care.
The staff have been very good, nice, friendly and hardworking. Staff do a great job in making life very pleasant and comfortable for me. They always help me with anything I need and their management has been very supportive.
Overall impressed with the level of care and professionalism. My carer could manage my house if I wasn’t in it. Very trustworthy. The care I’m given is very professional and outstanding. Sometimes my carer can be the only person I see during the day.
Overall experience is very good. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Very helpful with what I asked them to help me with.
My nan was discharged from the hospital with many different health issues she is now unable to get out of bed unaided and requires the use of equipment. My family and I have now felt the need to put a camera up as they used over 12 packets of baby wipes in 6 days as well as over 3 months’ supply of pads. I emailed the manager to file a formal complaint around many different issues we had noticed with their careers, this email took 5 hours to write out and has yet to be responded to 5 days later. Now don’t get me wrong I do understand if people are 'off sick' but considering one of our complaints was over oxygen misuse and another over cross-contamination there should have been someone able to help with our issues. Instead, the way this company has dealt with these issues is to ignore them and serve notice on my nan instead which to me means they are unable to provide adequate care and not willing to try to improve. This company needs shutting down and we will be seeing them in court.
