View Full Details of Fuchsia Homecare IpswichAll carers are friendly and appear to genuinely care about mum, and she them. Having familiar carers coming in to support mum means they become like family and know mum and her needs well. This in turn reassures the family that she is well cared for and respected.
From mum's referral to Fuchsia to present day, we have both been treated with respect and kept informed of each step including any changes made to the rota. All staff we have been in contact with have been friendly and efficient. The carers treat mum with respect and she says they are all very friendly so she feels comfortable having them in her home.
I've just read previous reviews and I echo all that has been said! One common thing is timing of the visits which I understand can be very difficult to fulfil! But saying that I still give a 5 star rating! The carers are very caring and knowledgeable as it is their job! They see so much in all walks of life and relate that back to their clients! Thank your very much!
The company is really good for me and my husband who is the client, the staff also do small jobs for me around the bungalow as I am not very mobile myself. So once again thank you all for a great service.
Carers are reliable and consistent. The main carer is good although using English as a foreign language can lead to misunderstanding or lack of comprehension. Some visit timings can be unhelpful, such as lunch at 11.45am or bed at 18:30. When the main carer is not working, replacement carers are sometimes new and demonstrate a lack of knowledge of the client's needs or routine. Generally, the positives outweigh the negatives and the service is good overall.
The experience we have had with Fuchsia Care since they started caring for my dad has been brilliant. The staff are very caring and helpful and always listen to him about his needs for the day. It is very reassuring to know that he has such lovely people visiting him and has certainly taken a weight off our shoulders especially in the mornings. We are now able to see dad everyday as we always did but as his children rather than his carer.
I am very happy with the carers. Everyone is friendly to me, my children and grandchildren. They feel more like family. I lost my husband a few years ago and their kindness helped me greatly. I am able to stay in my own home which pleases me. The carers are kind and trustworthy and nothing seems too much trouble.
My mum was recently very poorly and needed to go to hospital. During the day whilst waiting for the ambulance her carers were so kind and did all they could to keep her comfortable. When returning from the hospital the next day the carers waited over and above their time in the evening to see her home and put her to bed. The hospital transport was very late but they stayed to make sure Mum was sorted and comfortable. I am always recommending Fuschia Care to people as they are so kind and very caring. We have had a few companies but Fuschia is definitely the best we have had. Such lovely carers and a very well-run company.
Fuchsia Homecare really are 'Always Caring and Always there'. Our experiences with you were exceptional and I could not imagine my mum's continued success, without all of you as a team and your fantastic support.
My mother has been receiving home support for over a year now, at 91 she is mainly housebound I have found the care she has had from the company to be good. Mum has carers four times a day, to help her shower/wash, tend to her personal needs during the day, and help her into bed in the evening. My sister and I have a good relationship with mum's carers, as well as mum, the carers treat her with respect and many of the carers are like friends now. It would be nice if the carers were able to come earlier in the morning, and a bit later in the evening, to allow mum to stay up a bit longer, as it is a long night for her.
My sisters and I have had nothing but the greatest care for our mother. The carers are friendly helpful and very caring and do their utmost for my mother's comfort. They go beyond their remit and are very considerate and conscientious in relaying all that has happened to our mother when we are not there.
The carers are all very kind, caring patient and professional. They always treat my father with respect and provide excellent care. Our family would have found everything impossible to cope with without the carers.
Carers could not have done more for my wife in both care and interaction while she was still able. As a family, we would have found our situation even more difficult to handle without the carers.
My father has been provided with care in his home by Fuchsia Homecare for many years. The Company and the personnel employed have always provided exemplary care. His carers are professional, kind, caring, observant and treat him with respect. Qualities which are essential when working in the care profession. The administration team at the Ipswich office also provide exceptional support to him and me as I don’t live in the UK. They always go the extra mile and for that, I and my father are truly appreciative. A wonderful team which makes me feel he is safe in their capable hands. Thank you and keep up your amazing standards. The company is a shining light to other Care providers. Well done.
We are very satisfied with the standard and care from our carers. They are mostly clean, tidy and sociable. We are pleased to have them in our home. Our main concern is the times of some visits, but we do appreciate satisfying everyone's preferred time is difficult. The other point is we get no prior notice (phone call) if you change times and the person visiting especially if the carer/carers have never been here before. We are pleased we stayed with you after the post-hospital visits.
My wife suffers from dementia and has problems with change, she requires a regular carer and a set routine (this has been mentioned to the office on several occasions) I understand that staff have to have days off but sometimes the received rota sent bears no reflection to the carer sent. My wife`s one daily care visit is usually between 9 and 9.30 am, with different carers we accept the time might change but on 7th December I phoned and cancelled the visit as the carer hadn't arrived by 11 am and my wife was anxious and needed to get up, as on other occasions we hadn't received a call to let us know they were running late. The caring staff are excellent, they're always cheerful, competent and professional, they take time to listen to my wife and help wherever they can and she always looks forward to their visit.
I am very pleased with the excellent care provided by Fuchsia Homecare and all of the carers. My dad likes to be as independent as possible which his current care gives. The care he receives gives me peace of mind as I know that he is well cared for despite his poor eyesight. The Xmas party was a lovely surprise as we were not expecting it and we both had a good time.
Fuchsia Homecare has been providing care four times a day since 1 May 2023. This has been our first experience of the 'homecare world'. I can honestly say that the experience has been very positive. On the first day care should have started, no one turned up at 1200 as arranged. We later found out that the outside team had not sent the ok to Fuchsia Homecare to start on 1 May as was agreed. I rang Fuchsia Homecare at 1500 and they couldn't have been more responsive. They had a team with us, and one of the line managers by 1700, absolutely brilliant. Since then the regular team, and the relief teams when they are off have been fantastic. My wife really looks forward to seeing them every day.
To the team at Fuchsia Homecare. My elderly mum has received wonderful care. Nothing is too much trouble and the regularity of the usual team is marvellous. They try to keep to our requests for regular timings especially in the mornings. Mum’s personal hygiene is maintained to good standards. The regular team are cheerful, happy, and chat with Mum even though she is not too vocal and they encourage her. They transfer her to her recliner and the wheelchair from her bed easily. Please continue with the good care. Thank you from her family.
My home care provider is very patient with me and is helpful at all times. Nothing is ever to much trouble and this means that I am able to stay in my own home rather than having to move into a care home.
