The assessment process was very thorough and the care itself has met my needs fully. My various carers have been friendly, helpful and very sympathetic to my needs. I would recommend Bluebird to anyone requiring at- home care.
We arranged for Bluebird to provide "Live - In" Care for my Mother following a Stroke she had back in November last year and are very pleased with the quality of Care they are providing. This has enabled my Mother to make a good progress in her recovery and to continue living in her own home where she has lived for 40 years.
Bluebird have looked after my dad for over 3 years until he passed away in December. They called in twice a day and the care and support he received was first class the whole time. Not only did they provide physical care but also emotional support as my dad missed his wife (my mum) since she passed away 5 years ago. As the years went on dads health deteriorated and they would flag this with their managers and within a day they had notified my dad's GP who would ensure then come out and asses my dad. If they were not happy they would again take this up with the GP, they definitely went above and beyond every time with his care. My dad passed away after spending 2 weeks in hospital and when it was his funeral his carer came to the funeral and you could see how much she genuinely missed my dad. I recommend Bluebird 100% and will always be grateful for the care and love you showed my dad.
I cannot thank the team enough for the care and service they have provided. They have gone out of their way to accommodate our needs and had a kind approach to what has been an unsettling, stressful time. Thanks again.

The carers from Bluebird Care are absolutely excellent. They are great with Mum (who has Alzheimer's), kind and professional throughout. We initially had a few teething problems with the admin, communication and organisation of timings, hence the four-star rather than five-star review. However, Bluebird has always responded/resolved any questions/queries or changes/amendments quickly. I would highly recommend them to look after your family.

It wasn't easy to convince my mother that she needed some help, but your service really made it possible for her to stay at home a little longer. From our perspective, Bluebird has always been very communicative and easy to contact, and flexible with care scheduling. Your carers have provided a reliable and kind service to my mother, who wasn't always an easy customer.
Bluebird Care set the benchmark others have to reach. The carers are always smart, polite and professional. It's always a pleasure to welcome them into your home. Bluebird are always ready to help.
All the carers are pleasant and helpful. Some of the more experienced ones do chat with my husband more which is good. Office staff are also helpful and try and accommodate my request for carers at other times. A little more standardisation of timing for the morning visits would be helpful. Overall, a very good service.

I have been a customer of Bluebird Care Andover since October 2021, they are and have always been so helpful from office staff to my daily carers my treatment has been awesome. Over the last few weeks, my physical problems have been more challenging due to increased pain in my lower back (Spondylitis) and trapped nerves. All my carers have been awesome and I would like to thank them all for their help. With a special thank you to all the staff members for helping me so much and going above and beyond. All my other carers are also awesome I just didn't have them on my Rota for this period. Finally, a huge thank you to all the office staff for their professionalism and support. Thank you so much.
Recovering from new hip op. I (85) and my wife (83) decided we needed help as we live in an awkward, listed, property. We contacted Bluebird (Andover) who moved very quickly to meet us, identify our needs - showering, dressing, and hands-on care - and fast to arrange a package to start the following day, morning, and evening. We were sent carers who understood what we required and, without exception were confident, conscientious, and always cheerful, and as we had about 15 different carers coming, this made their visits very productive. They supervised the exercises I had been given by the physios and they (the physios) were always complimentary about my progress. I will always be grateful for the efficient way that Bluebird got me through those two difficult weeks.
Our carer has been absolutely wonderful - provided as an emergency to look after my mother, who went into the hospice an hour after the carer arrived. She then kept house for my father for sixteen days. My mother was at home from the hospice for three, intense days when the carer coped admirably, although she needed my assistance to move my mother. Mum died on the third day and the carer has continued to act as housekeeper for my father and leaves us today. We cannot fault the carer in any way, she has been marvellous. We were a little surprised to discover that for all of the four weeks she has been with us, we were charged the emergency respite rate, despite the carer only working at a respite level for three days; the remainder of the time she has been pottering about the house preparing light meals - no serious cooking - washing, tidying and washing up for my father.
Bluebird have been supporting my father for a while and I can't express how impressed I am with their services. Every carer has treated my father with the utmost respect, they are friendly, considerate and efficient. Everyone is well-presented and relates well to both my father and myself. The communication with the company is excellent and any queries I have had, such as needing short-term cover for a holiday or additional tasks are dealt with swiftly and with minimum fuss. I can highly recommend them.
It is the time of year to reflect and it has also been a full calendar year of care since Bluebird started looking after my father and supporting my stepmother. From the off, we thought the engagement, the nature of the two-way set up and planning under the leadership was spot on making the start of our journey more straightforward and less stressful for all of us. Ongoing, with the leadership's help, in my view finding the best carer that fits/works with my father's needs has been key, and for that of my stepmother too. We can't sing enough praise for the carer who is that person, always going one step beyond, always with grace and patience. We are indebted to her! Huge credit to the rest of the team too, the carers who visit less frequently but have to fit into a dynamic they are less regular or familiar with, and the support teams who are always attentive and professional when delivering their services too. Bluebird cared for my husband for the last two years of his life. He was an independent man who wasn't keen to have help, but he realised that he needed it and that the help provided made his life better. The office help and advice were invaluable. When you start the care journey you are not sure what is available and what the future holds. Everything was explained, the options to choose from and how to solve future problems, if and when they arose. The care team were all friendly and kind. Bluebird took the time to understand the specific needs of a client who was fiercely independent, quite challenging and who did not particularly see the value or importance of the care that she needed. Through the patience of the management team and the wonderful engagement and interpersonal skills of the care team, this client is now living a much more fulfilled and independent life without making challenging demands of her friends and neighbours. Without being patronising or officious, the Bluebird team was able to demonstrate that they were there to support independent living, not to take the right to decide away from the client or to prevent her from doing the things that she wanted to do when she wanted to do them. A difficult balance with someone requiring significant physical support, but Bluebird achieved it with gentle and caring efficiency. Highly recommended - thank you!
