View Full Details of Bluebird Care Totton & RingwoodThank you to all staff for your kindness and helping me back on my feet after my hip replacement. I couldn't have asked for more support and caring to help give me back my confidence, especially getting in and out of the shower safely. We are so lucky to have you all. Bless you all.
My dad has been receiving support from Bluebird Care carers for the past couple of months. It wasn't something he really wanted to accept but all of the girls, from carers to deputy and manger, have been lovely and he realises the difference it makes for both of us. The staff that come in daily are all friendly and happy to have a chat and a laugh as they work. They don't rush Dad at all and you don't get the feeling that they are rushing to get to the next client. It is all very relaxed and importantly, he is treated with dignity. Dad is now housebound so these visits are even more important from a social aspect. I would recommend Bluebird wholeheartedly.
Bluebird Care is always approachable and has been such a help in sorting the right care package required by my wife, this included interaction with other external parties, such as social services. They have been proactive and always given good and professional advice. The carers are always cheerful and have a good understanding of my wife's needs.
All the carers are really kind and understand the help I need. I look forward to seeing them in the morning when they help me wash and dress and then get me my breakfast. I am also grateful that they will feed my dog who has been my companion since my husband passed away. I consider myself very lucky to have Bluebird Care to care for me.
Very happy with the regular carer, even when substitutes are made. They all have a cheery greeting and smile. Not so happy with evening visits as these vary in times and carers so routine is more difficult to establish.
My experience has been very good but I have been very disappointed over this last year. I was originally seen at 8.30 but have been gradually put back to 8 am which is inconvenient as my daughter and son-in-law use the bathroom before me. The carers are all polite but I used to get locals who I could communicate with and miss this. I get different girls all the time.
Very pleased with the carers, the only problem for us is the change of times for the visit 8:15 am is our usual time but it can be 8:00 am-8:20 am-8:35 am. It would be beneficial for us if the care time stayed at 8:15 am, why do you have to periodically change the time of the visits?
We have been very grateful with the flexibility and prompt responses we have received recently for Dad. Dad's needs have changed rapidly recently, I have had numerous communication with the office and we have been able to cover Dad's needs with both day and night care. It has become increasingly obvious that we will be needing 24-hour care in the near future and after a conversation with a member of staff in the office, I feel that Bluebird Care will be a good fit for this going forward. With Dad’s condition, continuity is key, especially with the carers who look after him, this specific need is continually well met. Thank you.
The Ringwood team have been exceptional in caring for my dad, always kind and cheerful, keeping me updated on things and taking great care of him. They have really gone above and beyond and have dealt with emergencies and other issues with great professionalism. Thank you.
After Mum left the hospital, care was required. The council's 'free' care only lasted for a few months. Starting to source a reliable care company was a learning curve. Although a list of potential carer companies was supplied, it was very time-consuming going through each one. Using a site, I was able to find caring companies with the criteria required. Eventually whittled it down to about 4 companies. Bluebird are not the cheapest, there are other companies who on the face of it look to be less expensive. However, the contact response from the other companies was not at all good. Reliability is a key attribute. Bluebird were exemplary in every aspect of contact and information given. The whole process from the start to my Mum actually receiving the care has been seamless. Mum is very happy with the service. The 'portal' is an added bonus. Able to see the status of each care visit plus other information. I would thoroughly recommend Bluebird Care.
I have two Bluebird Care ladies for domestic cleaning, Tuesday and Thursday. They are on time and efficient but importantly, good listeners. To me, this is important as sometimes they are the only contact I have. My apartment and its cleanliness have attracted positive comments from many people over the time.
I am very satisfied with the service I have been given. Friendly and cheerful carers. No problems so far. Thank you.
Excellent care given to my husband by all carers. I am pleased with the service and I have no complaints.
Generally very good but sometimes there is a lack of communication when attendance times are altered, for example - I normally have an 8.15am morning call but on the morning of the internment of my wife's ashes, the carer turned up at 9am ( her correct time), when family members were starting to arrive and needed to use facilities, etc. I appreciate times often need to be altered but a minutes phone call would have made such a difference.
Having only had care for one week, my experience has been overall very good. Needs getting used to on both sides! But found very willing and helpful.
In my present condition I find Bluebird Care meet my requirements.
The service of staff in the office and organising rotas has been appalling. Also, sending weekly timetables out, promising things and not carrying them out. I understand staff in the office have been altered and the service seems to be improving but for what we have to pay, the service has a long way to go to get better.
Care staff are pleasant and chatty and take the time to make sure I am ok. The treat me with dignity.
Bluebird has provided consistently high-quality care provision and takes time to engage with Mum about current affairs and Mum’s interests. They are responsive, flagging up health issues when they arise & have always been accommodating to changing needs. Call times are not ideal for Mum’s preferences but we are hopeful that this might be addressed as staff levels pick up. We would recommend Bluebird to anyone requiring homecare services.
I have been very happy with Bluebird's care of my mother over the last 18 months. The carers are patient and treat her with respect and chat and have a laugh with her as well as helping with personal care. The administration is well run with regular reviews, and with the online note system, I can read the carers' notes for every visit so I know she is being well looked after. I would certainly recommend Bluebird Care to anyone looking for carers at home.
