View Full Details of Caremark Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge & MallingWe started using Caremark after contacting a lady, who lived locally. I had a stroke 8 years ago but in recent years I had been able to get about short distances in the house using a quadruped but a fall in the kitchen in July meant that a wheelchair was needed upstairs and downstairs to supplement the existing chairlift. We are contracted with Caremark for 3 hours on Monday and Thursday mornings. My wife walks our dog twice a day and I have to be accompanied to the commode twice a day. The Caremark presence gives her a little more freedom. Now we have asked if the present carer could be allocated to us when possible. Until recently the carers changed frequently and each time we needed to tell them what to do. We are very impressed with the present carer. My wife needs to have a knee replacement shortly and we have asked him if he could stay overnight when the operation takes place.
My Mum has been receiving care from Caremark since August 2023. I have been very pleased with the care and attention that each Carer has given Mum and she is extremely happy with all of them. At first, I was unsure of what to expect but the Supervisor was extremely kind and helpful and things were in place very quickly. I wrote a Care Plan of things that I wanted my mum to receive from each visit and Caremark arranged the Carers to visit at roughly the times I had requested. Within a few days, the visits started and I was given access to an App to see who was calling, at what time and the report written at each visit. Some reports are more detailed than others. The app was difficult to follow at times! Some visits were not showing but I mentioned this to the supervisor and was assured that all visits I had requested would not be missed and this has been exactly the case. I have become more and more confident with the app. Invoices from Caremark are easy to understand and payments are easy.
