Really happy with the service and care that the carers are doing for my father in law. Most of all my father in law is happy as well. Your care for him has given me a lifeline, it's giving me time to do the things I need to do myself, I am forever grateful for the help and support.

The care received by a particular staff member was fantastic, her company looked after my husband for 7 months. The hospital gave him weeks due to immunotherapy problems. This staff member and the physio worked to get him well, he is now almost back to his old self. However, at some point in the future, the cancer will come back and I would not hesitate to ask them again for 24-hour care. Many thanks to you all.

After a bumpy start with carers, we came across Greenwoods, who cared for my mother for the last three years of her life and I can confidently say that my mother saw them as good friends and people she could trust. She felt happy and safe with the carers, which was an enormous relief to myself, brothers and sister, along with the fact that we were kept updated on any ongoing concerns, medical or not. I found them to be totally honest, trustworthy and very approachable. Due to my mother's illness, there was the odd occasion where we unexpectedly needed help quickly and suffice to say Greenwood's shone through. I genuinely cannot speak highly enough of this company and would not hesitate to recommend Greenwoods to absolutely anybody in need of care.

Greenwood have been looking after my elderly father since 2018 and the service they provide is above and beyond. My father has dementia and they visit him 3 times a week and always go above and beyond their services to make my father comfortable and secure. Would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking to have a member of family cared for within the Peterborough area.

Dad and I were impressed with the Greenwood team right from the initial consultation, they made him feel very comfortable about daily care and how everything would work. Once care started they very quickly established a routine and helped Dad feel at ease with it. They assigned a regular team so Dad got to know his carers and who was coming on what day. The team were professional, kind and approachable. The management team supported us whenever there was an emergency or unexpected matter to deal with. We are very grateful to the team for the care and support they gave our parents during end-of-life care.

Greenwood Homecare have been looking after mum for the last few months. They strive to give consistency of care which means mum would see familiar faces and she was always met with a cheery smile and treated with care and consideration.

I live in Dorset but was visiting my elderly father. During my stay I met a lovely carer provided by Greenwood Homecare at his home. She arrived at lunch time, was extremely attentive to my father's needs whilst also being warm and friendly. I was so impressed. I'm delighted and feel reassured that Greenwood Homecare are providing care services to my father so he can remain independent in his own home.

The help and care my mother received at short notice has been excellent. She was very nervous about a stranger coming to care for her but need not have worried. My mother especially liked one care helper. Excellent communication with the care manager.

I have been really pleased with the service provided by Greenwood Homecare. My wife has Alzheimer's and I needed to arrange care for her while I went to the hospital every weekday for cancer treatment over a period of 4 weeks. Therefore I was not just looking for professional and caring carers for my wife, but also a dependable and punctual service so I did not miss any of my appointments. Like a previous reviewer, I have experience of other care providers from when my father was alive. Greenwood Homecare proved to be far better than my previous experiences. The carers made every effort to help my wife and make sure I could leave in time for the hospital appointments. Equally, the "back office" support was always friendly, efficient and helpful. As my wife's condition deteriorates and I need more help in the future Greenwood Homecare will definitely remain my first choice.

I worked in international foreign exchange and banking delivering excellence. I've had poor support from other care providers but find Greenwood excellent. I'd be interested to see how they continue to provide such excellence and still make a profit!

Individually your staff vary from good to excellent and in one case outstanding. However fewer changes and more regularity would be welcome to me - and I suspect to the staff involved.

Carer is superb. She is a perfect mix of efficiency, kindness and reliability. The carer made an instant bond with my wife who enjoys her weekly visits including fingernail painting and foot spa sessions. Long may it continue!

Greenwoods are brilliant. They looked after my dad for the last four years of his life and helped my mum cope with his needs. Now dad is gone, Greenwoods is helping Mum with cleaning and shopping assistance. They are very flexible, and the care team are wonderful. They are such a good company to use. Mum gets regular faces, who she knows and trusts. They look after their staff, and in turn, their staff look after their clients well. Top marks from us!

I would like to publicly thank Greenwood’s for the exceptional care they have provided my mum for almost 3yrs. The carers we have welcomed into our home exceeded our expectations from the get-go, they always go the extra mile. Having experienced other care providers within the community Greenwood’s truly are in a league of their own I cannot recommend them enough!

Our experience with Greenwood Homecare from the start of April 2023 until my grandfather's passing in January 2024 has been excellent and the level of care has been second to none. All the carers have been very professional, friendly and nothing is too much trouble, so much so they become like part of the family and will be missed. If there was any change to my grandad's health they were straight on it and on more than one occasion the doctors have said how impressed they were with how quickly symptoms were reported saving pain and discomfort and getting treatment quickly. The staff in the office were superb and very supportive with everything and if we needed help they were always there and went above and beyond with the service and personal touch they provided and for that, I will always be grateful because it took the pressure off myself and really helped me and it didn’t stop with his passing, the support has continued. I can’t recommend Greenwood highly enough, excellent and very caring.

Greenwood Homecare provide companionship support for my mother who resides in extra care housing. Despite having a care provider on site, she felt lonely and isolated and, although she is 97 this year, her mind is still very active even if her body isn't! She has thrived having her carer coming in every other week, a consistent and female carer which is very important to her. She has been able to access the community, do some shopping, go for a coffee and have a good chat. She thoroughly enjoys her visits and has improved her mood and spirits to no end! I would definitely recommend Greenwood Homecare. This is the second time we've had care and support from them, as she had a traditional care package when she lived in her previous home.

Greenwood have been caring for my mum since June 2023. They have been fantastic in supporting her independence so she can live safely at home. They continue to help me and support the growing care needs of my mum without question and act to adjust care plans as quickly as possible. Any problems, they have advised and assisted with the solution. The carers' kindnesses and companionship has helped my mum get through the loss of her husband and facilitate her independent living. With the help of the daily care notes for each visit, they help alleviate concerns about her welfare and safety.

Approached Greenwood Homecare for morning visits for mummy who is 100 years old whilst I was away on holiday for a couple of weeks. They couldn’t have been more helpful in creating a plan that suited my requirements. The carers were prompt, kind and looked out for her needs and chatting to her, though she is hard of hearing and making her comfortable. It was also so reassuring to receive daily reports of daily visits that put my mind to rest whilst I was away. I would highly recommend Greenwood Healthcare and will certainly be using their services again.

Greenwood Home Care are providing an unusual service for my dad which I was so lucky to find. He is in residential care but needs full-time support including transport to see my mum who’s in a different care home close by. A chance phone call resulted in an enthusiastic response from the team who visited my dad and had arrangements in place for him within a week of my phone call! He is picked up by their carers and supervised while visiting then taken back. Without this service it would mean he could not see his wife, we are indebted to them not just for the practicality of what they do but for taking away the stress from us and knowing that he is safe from falls with the support they’ve put in place.
