We changed to Alina at the beginning of September and have been very pleased with the care and communication received in the last 6 weeks. A regular rotation of carers coming to see her has made her feel safe and comfortable. As well as interacting with the whole family that doesn't make us feel like aliens in our own home. I'm more than happy not to be here when they come and really appreciate the respect they show her treating her like a person, not a job. I can not recommend them enough.

Alina provides live-in care support for my mother for which, in general, I am very pleased. The quality of the live-in carers is very good with several being exceptional. The carers are all trained to a high standard for the provision of personal care and they all have a great deal of patience. My mother has vascular dementia which can be frequently challenging. The live-in carers provide all the necessary support for my mother which covers preparing all the meals and helping her to eat them, all the cleaning, washing and ironing plus, of course, personal care. They also provide companionship which can include reading or watching television together or just trying to have conversation. I am always amazed by how well the live-in carers cope with all the day-to-day issues; they are all very compassionate people. The live-in carers are relieved 2 hours each by visiting Alina carers. They are all very good, but these break times vary a lot. I have no hesitation in recommending Alina though.

Alina provided morning carer visits for my father. The staff were all very friendly and treated my dad with compassion and kindness. They gave us offspring a huge degree of reassurance that someone was there to help him (he could be very wobbly some mornings and absolutely fine other mornings) each day. Access to the app was also fantastic, as we could all see immediately how Dad was and whether there had been any issues. We would not hesitate to recommend Alina, and would also have no hesitation in using them again. On the downside, there was quite a lot of variability in terms of both personnel and the time that they called (which didn't always correspond to the published schedule). Dad would have preferred more consistency in terms of both time of visit and personnel. A couple of mornings he got himself up because he thought the carer wasn't going to come because it was over an hour beyond the scheduled time. A minor point though.

We were recommended to Alina by friends who were very pleased with the help they were getting. Aline has fully lived up to their recommendations. The carers are reliable, helpful and pleasant. They are happy to help with anything we ask of them. But they are quite expensive...

Alina Homecare only looked after my father for a short time following a hospital admission. They were all amazing and treated Dad with genuine kindness and dignity. I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again in the future. All carers were outstanding and went above and beyond and also supported us as a family. Communication was excellent. I’d like to say a big thank you to a very hard-working team.

I found my carer was open to do what I needed from driving me to my gym to mopping floors. When asked she gave me space to read, listen to stories.

My mother has had daily support over a long period of time during which she developed dementia. Alina Homecare provided carers who were consistently kind, considerate, empathetic and professional. They responded to the changes needed to reflect Mum’s state of mind and health. They administered medication that had been prescribed. The system linked to the app allowed me to have up-to-date information on when visits were happening and how my mum was feeling. The billing was clearly detailed and accurate. I would be happy to recommend them to others.

Although Alina Homecare only looked after Mum for a brief period, they were all amazing and treated Mum with genuine kindness and dignity. I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again in the future should the need arise. Both carers were outstanding and went above and beyond in what was a difficult time for us as a family.

Alina Homecare staff were very caring towards my mother. She has become very fond of them. Staff listened to her care needs and made sure she was well looked after, giving her time and treating her with dignity. I would recommend this care company.

My mother has been using Alina for a number of years and the office team and personal carers have been excellent, friendly and professional help all round. The weekly schedules are sent without fail and problems are dealt with efficiently.

I started using Alina Homecare mid-January. I needed help at short notice for my father and they responded very quickly. Carers were put in place within 24 hours and so far the experience has been very positive. All carers have been very friendly and offered useful advice. One even offered to make me a cup of tea! Great service.

Found all staff to be helpful, proficient, reliable, and polite. Nothing was too much trouble. The home care providers were punctual, cheerful, and proactive. The administration team provided a first-class flow of information regarding my weekly schedule and answered all my enquiries promptly.

Both my mother and I are very pleased with the prompt and efficient care/domestic help arranged after mum suffered a fall at Christmas. Although only required for a short time, this was set up immediately after I made a call from Spain to the Harpenden branch. This took a lot of worry away from me, being so far away and I was kept informed of mum's progress. I can't thank the team enough and will certainly be back in touch if the need arises.

I am sure that the care you gave to Mother significantly extended her life and gave her a better quality of life in that time. Previously she had a succession of minor illnesses but the improvement in taking medication, diet and help with washing and food preparation gave her a healthier life. Several times I have been just calling in and doing business on the farm before seeing Mother, and when coming in I have overheard the carer dealing with Mother, they always spoke to her so sweetly and kindly, and so patiently it brought me joy to think her world was made so pleasant. Mother could often be a 'difficult' character to deal with but you always saw past that. All the interaction with you has gone so smoothly it has freed me from that worry and allowed me to get on with being POA for Mother's affairs and enjoying purely social visits to her. The general smoothness and your professionalism makes life so much easier.

Alina Homecare have provided an excellent service to my mum for the last 18 months increasing visits from 3 times a day to now 4 times a day. Mum is always happy to see them. They are kind, caring and considerate and will go out of their way to help my mum and myself. They have stayed with Mum when they have found her on the floor and sought assistance straight away, keeping the family informed. They have been outstanding during these difficult times keeping Mum safe and going out of their way to assist in any way they are able. I cannot speak too highly of them.

My dad suffered several strokes around 4 or 5 years ago and we have used Alina Homecare ever since. All the staff at Alina are punctual, caring, friendly and our whole family get on very well with all of the carers. Alina has never made my dad feel embarrassed and always treated him with respect and dignity. They are always happy to help with whatever is needed and are very supportive. My father can be a difficult character and all of the staff cheer him up and never fail to make him smile when they see him every evening. If you are looking for trusting, committed, friendly and reliable carers I would highly recommend Alina Homecare.

My husband suffered a huge stroke 7-years ago. Finding reliable care seemed impossible in the early years, but then I found Alina and haven’t looked back. All Alina carers have been so kind and helpful. They have made a huge difference to our lives. They are always professional, reliable and respectful. My husband feels safe and reassured. He looks forward to seeing them every day not only for the expert care but for the chat and laughter. I’ve recommended Alina to several friends, and we’re all delighted with them.

Alina provides live-in care support for my mother for which, in general, I am very pleased. The quality of the live-in carers is very good with several being exceptional. We were recommended to Alina by friends who were very pleased with the help they were getting. Aline has fully lived up to their recommendations. The carers are reliable, helpful and pleasant. They are happy to help with anything we ask of them. But they are quite expensive...
