View Full Details of Bee's Care Agency LtdBee's Care Agency has been fantastic in looking after my mum. The manager and her team are friendly, knowledgeable and have looked after my mum really well. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Mum’s dementia has become worse and we’ve had to make the decision to move her into a care home, for 24-hour care, after 3 years with Bee's. If you’re looking for quality care speak to Bee's.
Mum is a particularly stubborn, set in her ways individual, and went downhill quite quickly when Dad died in October 2020. Mum had several transient ischaemic attacks which led to gradually worsening dementia, and her ability to look after herself properly. As a result, we started having carers coming in once a day, then twice. They were so caring and kind, and innovative in trying different ways to motivate Mum to do various things from simple things like taking her tablets to washing. Mum eventually warmed to the carers, no mean feat for someone as stubborn as my Mum. Mum is now in a care home, but she managed to stay in her home for longer because of Bees. Both carers were super helpful, in fact the whole team were a credit to Bee's. Would heartily recommend them.
My brother and I are indebted to Bee's Care for providing such a reliable, kind, professional and friendly home service for my mother. She developed vascular dementia and required personal care very rapidly. Bee's carers allowed us to have an hour's respite every day to shop etc, knowing that mum was in safe hands. The carers were genuinely sad to say goodbye to us and mum when she moved to a care home.
My wife (aged 80) has Vascular Dementia and I (aged 85) am her main carer. Without the professional, efficient and effective care services provided by Bees Agency I would not have been able to cope. As far as possible the management staff sent the same friendly favourite carer each day, always going the second mile to help make her feel secure and safe, dignified, warm and wanted, happy and content. I would recommend this Agency to anyone looking for good quality home care services.
A small agency with friendly and caring staff, used by my friend for several years until she had to go into hospital and then a nursing home. Because the agency has a small pool of staff, my friend got to know most of the carers quite well and they understood what she needed. The manager is very supportive and quickly deals with any issues or complaints. This agency was recommended to us and we in turn would be happy to recommend it to others.
Bee's Care Agency have been looking after my parents now for a few years. They are extremely efficient, listen to the care needs and requirements and communicate regularly to ensure the best service is being provided. They have good carers working for them and do regular spot checks to ensure carers are being as good as they can at their job. The staff all have lots of experience and are very helpful in making sure things are in place and the client is safe and well looked after. Bee's are a little more bespoke than your typical agency, compared with other agencies I believe Bee's are up there in the top few that are overall a good service and who really do care.
Bee's have been caring for my mum for over three years now. My dad lives with my mum and has mild dementia; juggling care in this dynamic is difficult, and Bee's has worked with the family's strict requirements about how the household and relationship must be managed. They readily adapted to mine and my sister's requirements around security and communications. Our core problems with the previous care agency was them not adhering to the visit schedule, and for not attending for the full duration nor completing all tasks; a situation totally reversed. Bee's management have high standards for their staff, and so all visits are on time, completed in full, and delivered with understanding. On many occasions, they've gone above and beyond. Management are: thoughtful and responsive; considerate of mine and my sister's needs as well as our parents'; full of advice from great experience of the whole care ecosystem. Ultimately, this agency and its staff are flexible, reliable, and trustworthy.
For the last 5 months, my 93-year-old mother has received care 3 times a day from Bee’s Care Agency following a hip replacement operation. Having been very independent prior to this, together with the onset of dementia, it was always going to be very difficult for her to accept support. I need not have worried. Bee’s have been excellent from beginning to end. They made a home visit to assess Mum’s needs and immediately set in motion her care package. Mum’s carers are very experienced and have created a good relationship with her. They have been extremely thoughtful and thorough looking after her personal wellbeing, food and cleanliness of the house. They are good at keeping in touch should any issues arise and have put in place robust procedures to minimise the risk from the COVID-19 virus. I have no hesitation in recommending Bee’s Care Agency to anyone.
I have been a client with Bee's since October 2017. During this time, my level of care has changed dramatically, from three times a day to just once a day. The staff who have cared for me have always been respectful, sympathetic and have always gone that extra mile. They helped me through some very dark days for which I am very much appreciative. The office staff have been more than helpful with any query I may have had. Many thanks to the whole team.
