View Full Details of Secure Healthcare SolutionsThe staff were lovely, treated my husband with care and respect and also provided friendship and support to myself and my family. Both staff and management have continued to provide us with care and support since my husband passed away.
Things have been much smoother in recent weeks, particularly the management team, who are quick in adjusting the care in case of emergency. However, night care still causes concern if they are new and unfamiliar with routine, in particular, with medication and also their lack of experience in spinal care.
Secure Healthcare Solutions has been there for me and my family every step of the way throughout our journey in my granddad's care. I cannot thank this company enough for the support they have provided us. Hands down the best company I have ever worked with. Brilliant communication, amazing staff members, and the carers have really become part of my family. Thank you, Secure!
Generally, the service provided by Secure Healthcare is good, but on occasions, things are disrupted by altering the times in the evening - a bit too early, and this causes us problems in terms of getting dinner ready, feeding my son and giving cough assist machine.
My daughter is a client of Secure Healthcare, she is in palliative care and has a nurse and a carer work 12-hour shifts on a two-to-one ratio. My daughter's needs change so quickly due to her deteriorating condition. The staff that work in our package are outstanding; they go above and beyond to ensure my daughter has a memorable supported life; they bring new activity ideas in for her to try, and we all work together to make her dreams come true. The clinical lead works with my daughter and the whole family and provides that link of reassurance between us and all of the healthcare professionals involved in her care, I can call her at any time, any day, and she is always available to listen to me. The managing director is also very supportive and will answer my texts when I have any questions, and also looks to make our lives easier by helping with equipment and looking at ways of getting the very best for my daughter.
Having had quite a rocky start in the New Year, Secure have managed to smooth things out, and the service being provided is much better in terms of management. The carers we have are good at what they do, attentive to my son's needs, and he is happy and well looked after. I am contacted out of courtesy if there is any change to the rota so that there is no surprise carer at the door.
Generally just a good service in terms of how it operates with both family and staff. Staff are available to take calls, and nurses are on hand to give advice to carers. Overall so far a good experience.
When I came over to secure healthcare solutions I got promised drivers etc and they have not met any of the goals they promised me. I have not had the best quality of life, the nurses don't come out to competent staff off or come introduce themselves to new staff etc and I booked loads of stuff to do before Christmas and after. Also, they leave the client's stock to the last minute and they made me lose out on appointments etc and they refused to let me come out of hospital last year. They tell me where to go and where I can't go. Also, I have a niece who I have only seen 3 times since she's been born and they talk to you like you got something on your shoe and they put non-competent carers on. They let staff sleep on nights etc and as long as the shift is covered they don't care about anyone else but themselves and don't care about people's life or health etc. They even said if they can’t get cover for shifts there would be nurses etc to cover but never been done.`
I am unhappy because of the carer that the agency brought to me and the staff never give me answers for what I need.
Very good carers - are all pleasant and helpful. Only bother is different times, but this it to do with traffic and calls being extended.
I've been receiving care from Secure for over two years, and they have provided an outstanding level of support. There was a time when the office staff seemed to take a good while to reply to emails, but that is well behind them now since all emails are promptly responded to and actioned. I feel I'm supported extremely well at home and within the community.
The service my dad has received is fantastic. The supervisor I deal with is phenomenal. If I have any issues or problems, I can contact her, and she helps me sort them out quickly and effectively. Nothing is too much trouble to help sort. My dad is always consulted, and the best action is put quickly and swiftly in place.
Great service and very helpful staff. Stayed contacted throughout the processes - always one call away. Since we use their service, they have provided us with very efficient staff, well trained and reliable. Highly recommended.
All very pleasant. Answer emails very quickly. Not always so quick on the phone in the past. Much better service than before. Keep up the good work. Carers are very good. Always on time, even if buses are on strike, she finds a way to get to my mum.
Since Secure started working with my son, we have seen massive changes. My son has challenging behaviours; he lashes out and has targeted me for quite a few years, causing some injuries to myself, but since Secure stepped in, these incidents have significantly reduced. My son has access to the community more often now and also attends new activities; he goes happily with the staff. My son is starting to understand his behaviours, and he is also being more vocal (he has been nonverbal for around four years prior to this). I'm now able to do things I need to do without worrying and also spend quality time with my daughter, who also feels a lot safer in our home. Overall, we are really grateful for all the hard work Secure has given us over the past seven months.
My son (almost 18) has been using the 'Buddy' service since early 2022. He goes out with a member of staff every Sunday for six hours. When we approached Secure Healthcare, they reacted swiftly and came to see us within a week! They had a 'Buddy' in mind, whom we met a few days later. This resulted in the service commencing within two weeks of our enquiry! Impressive. He has now been using the service for over six months, and it is proving to be a spectacular success! The two have bonded really well, and the 'Buddy' is both professional and friendly/helpful at the same time. The 'Buddy' listens to what my son asks for and always goes along with the requests in a safe but fun way. We have never regarded these six hours a week as a respite for ourselves; this is all about a young man with SEN learning and furthering his independence as he becomes an adult - and it is working above anything we could have hoped for. All staff involved have been so helpful, and we are beyond impressed!
Secure Health Care has provided a very good service, providing a carer for him who takes him out once a week. The carer has been excellent, and we believe he has progressed socially and emotionally from the experience.
I would just like to thank this carer company for all the help, compassion and professionalism they have shown towards myself. I suffered a broken spine and heels in October 21, which obviously meant when I came home I would require care. From my initial dealings with the director (what an absolute asset) in the office to him coming out to see me for my assessment, to all the other office staff I have had dealings with, through to every single carer who has been to care for me. They are all unsung heroes. They have always been on time, showed massive amounts of compassion to myself and family, cared for me, and in fact, become friends. As without these people, mainly one lady(who is an absolute treasure), who has been my main carer, I don’t know what mindset I could be in, as being bed-bound for 5-months really took its toll mentally. To any other carer who helped me… thank you! Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and I will be forever great full. Once again to the director, thank you forever!
My husband was referred to the company following a hospital discharge. Overall, we have been happy with the service provided by Secure Healthcare. The regular carers have been very good with my husband, creating professional relationships with him, ensuring his safety and satisfaction with the care provided. Recently, my husband has been struggling to stand for long periods of time, the carers have been very patient with him and adapted to his needs, talking him through what they are doing and giving him reassurance. Sometimes, new carers have to be sent to us, which we fully understand, my husband requires 2 to 1 support, so the other carer may have to guide the new one through to ensure my husband's needs are fully met.
We have received 5-star service for our daughter for home care. Any concerns are dealt with immediately, and someone is always available on call anytime. I have peace of mind my daughter is cared for by highly qualified trained staff, and all clinical issues are managed appropriately within the team.
