View Full Details of George Springall Homecare PartnershipWhere do I start? Definitely with a huge thank you to the manager, who, without a doubt, wanted the best for my husband and us as a family, whilst my husband was on end-of-life care. Giving us all support and, on occasion, being our voice when we felt we were not being heard. Providing waking night care were two fabulous human beings who took turns to ensure we were able to sleep, giving us the respite we needed to carry on. My husband took to them both with their caring and kind natures with a can-do attitude. We all felt supported by the whole team. I highly recommend this very caring partnership. Sadly my husband left this earth on the 9th of September, but I felt others should be aware of this excellent service provider. So once again, thank you, everyone!
Absolutely outstanding from the time my dear wife became terminally ill on 20 December to her death on 16 January. 'Angels' is a hackneyed term for caring professionals but is difficult to better, in this case. The visit from the home carers was the highlight of every day for my wife. Motor neurone disease is a ghastly illness and especially towards the end, there are many symptoms which really have no resolution. There is little to look forward to. But the arrival of two smiling, cheerful, hard-working carers to wash her and perform personal care gave my wife a little bit of relief and a great deal of comfort in her suffering. Without exaggeration, I can say that for all the large team who helped my wife during her illness, her home carers did the most to help her suffering. Thank you.
We have recently used the services of George Springall home care. We found their services excellent. They are very professional, very caring and go way beyond any expectations we had. We would recommend them to anyone.
My husband had MND and died in December 2018. In his final few weeks, we had amazing care from the team. The management were exceptional giving professional, sincere and dignified care to him. They ensured the team were fully trained to be able to deal with his individual needs. They understood his personality and treated him as an individual respecting all requests he had with understanding and respect. He was given the same staff most days who became to know him and his little traits. They made his final days comfortable and certainly helped me deal with his end of life care. Thank you so much.
George Springall Home Care was a revelation to me, after months of quite poor support for my aged Mother-in-Law from the NHS. They were conscientious, motivated, sensible, kind... and took the initiative whenever required. I cannot thank them enough: they 'rescued' both my Mother-in-Law and myself(!) once they took over the onerous task of looking after a very frail 95-year-old with dementia, partly incontinent, living at home in a small, isolated Oxfordshire village. My Mother-in-Law's circumstances immediately improved, with much better bathing, cleaning and feeding. They proved to be everything I could have ever hoped for, and exceeded all my expectations. After a long, stressful, time struggling with the care provided by the NHS, I became very experienced with care standards, and - believe me - George Springall is just brilliant. Excellent leader, and an excellent team.
