Serenity cared for my father as his Dementia became worse as it was proving too much for my mum to cope with. They visited him three times a week and in addition to dealing with his day-to-day care issues, they were a great help in their communication and support for my mum. All the staff were very nice and there was nothing that was too much for them to do. Thank you.
I have the utmost respect for Serenity Care-Support and my dad's care worker. My dad has dementia and can be challenging. My dad respected her and that is good enough for me! She was kind, informative and a real gem. If my dad managed needed care in the home again, or anyone else, I would certainly recommend it.
We used Serenity Care for my father in the last years of his life; he passed away in June 2024. The entire Serenity Care team were incredibly kind, professional and ethical in their work in caring for my father. They took time to understand his situation and treated him with total respect as an individual. At times when caring became more difficult, as he became more frail, they went the extra mile in finding solutions in managing the situation. Serenity Care was highly recommended to us and we are more than pleased to recommend it to others, as a professional and highly trained, quality care provider. Thank you for all your work with our family.
Serenity Care has taken such wonderful care of my Grandma who has terminal cancer and needs a lot of support. The staff have such a wonderful caring manner and when they walk into the room my Grandma lights up despite struggling to communicate. They have gone above and beyond in the care they have given and even helped us to go on a short break by helping my Grandma to video call us so we had peace of mind when we were away. Thank you so much.
I have not been able to visit, these ladies keep me informed on a regular basis on every level. Medication food etc. Very very pleased with everything. Really put my mind at rest. Flat spotless. My mum is spotless.
Absolutely fantastic company who supports me and my wife. The carers look after me and my wife, they help with personal care, domestic duties and food preparation. They go above and beyond and help me with additional things if needed. No job is ever too much for them they are always professional courteous and willing to help. My wife was in hospital for a period recently they helped me through these hardest times of my life they offered psychological support as I thought I would lose her. We are both very happy with the service and the way our care is provided and would say anybody who needs care should come to this company.
My husband with terminal brain cancer was end of life and being nursed at home. I was really drowning in his care needs until Serenity Care stepped in. It was usually the same two carers who attended, but sometimes other ladies and they were all five-star, excellent. The care was always thorough and compassionate to the last detail. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they were also caring towards me as the carer. They went above and beyond in their duties. Our two main carers began as carers and became like old friends. They even came to see me and check I was OK after my husband's death. The best care agency we ever encountered.
My mum was assigned Serenity Care by the hospital after having many stays there. She was near end of life and had 4 visits a day with 2 carers. Every single caregiver treated my mum with utmost respect and dignity as if she were a family member. I had complete trust in them to provide all her physical and mental needs and nothing was too much trouble. They were the most compassionate, genuine carers we've ever had, not only meeting all mum's needs but also the wider family. They always had the time to give comfort and listen to any of my concerns. I can't praise them enough. They were like friends to me. I can't recommend them enough. Heartfelt thanks.
The carers were very good with my wife. She was end-of-life and needed specialist care. The ladies were friendly, happy to help, and nothing was too much trouble. They treated her with dignity and the utmost respect. She was very well cared for by the ladies. I'm grateful for all their help.
Serenity Care was given to mum by the hospital for her discharge. Mum loved all staff and couldn't wait to see them every day (4 times). Not only were they there for mum, but they were also here for me and my dad. They couldn't do enough for us from the day Mum came home to the day she passed away. Would definitely recommend this company 100 per cent.
The girls that looked after my dad was so caring and respectful when they were attending to his needs that it made it so much easier for the family to spend quality time with him. They always arrived on time and were happy to do any task required either with Dad or for Mum in the home. They were completely focused on Dad's care, and even when Dad passed, they came back to offer their sympathies, which we felt showed how much they really had cared for Dad, and that gave us comfort. Thank you
My husband wanted me to write a review about our experience with Serenity, and especially our regular carer. He says he is brilliant and looks forward to him coming every week. He is a very caring young man and shows maturity beyond his years. His care and commitment to my husband's needs cant be faulted. Serenity makes me feel that as a wife, I am also cared for and that they are always there for me in a crisis. Even the cat loves our regular carer.
When my dad was deteriorating rapidly due to terminal bladder cancer, the district nurses arranged palliative care visits from Serenity Care. We had two carers coming three times a day to wash and change pads/pyjamas/sheets for Dad, who was bed-bound and very, very frail. All the carers who came were incredibly professional, respectful and caring. They looked after my dad with the utmost compassion, maintaining his dignity as far as possible. It was very hard work, as he was too frail to even roll over, but they never complained or hesitated to carry out even the most difficult or unpleasant of tasks. My brother, mum and I were and are incredibly grateful to them all. One thing that was very noticeable was that every pair of carers worked together really well as a team. They were totally focused on looking after my dad! Our particular thanks go to one carer who shaved Dad so very gently to help him feel more comfortable and was so kind and encouraging at all of her visits.
The care she received from Serenity Care was wonderful and enabled her to continue to live at home for the last few years of her life. The family built up a wonderful relationship with her carer and felt we could trust her with everything. My grandma cared for her too. I am so glad we had them in our lives with them looking after her during the last few difficult months when we couldn't go visit my grandmother because of Corona. I remember on her birthday in 2020 before the pandemic kicked in that they made her a wonderful mug as a birthday present with pictures of her and my granddad that she treasured very much. This level of compassion and kindness is extraordinary! Thank you so much all at Serenity Care for your love and support.
Words alone cannot express our thanks and eternal gratitude to the manager and her team who supported my dad with end of life care. My dad had been hospitalised for almost 3-weeks when it was agreed that to fulfil his and our wishes, a fast track discharge to our home would be put in place. The hospital contacted many care providers to arrange support, none of whom had any availability, whilst the manager and her team were in the same position, they recognised the urgency and importance to us and she and the co-manager simply agreed to cover my dads care to ensure he could return home. They exceeded all our expectations in every way, themanager and her team have skills that cannot be taught a genuine passion for the care they provide, and how this is delivered. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Had it not been for the manager and her team, we would not have had a final and treasured 48-hours with my dad. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being a key part of the magic that ensured my dads final.
Thank you so much for your care service. It was friendly and efficient, and a great comfort to ourselves. This applied to every carer. It moved me to tears on more than one occasion. Outstanding.
My Mum is suffering with dementia and has been cared for by every member of staff for over sixteen months with sensitivity, kindness and dignity at all times. Even when her behaviour has been challenging. Mum is now in hospital and it has been decided that she should now go in to a care home but if it hadn't been for the excellent care she has received, she would have had to leave her own home much earlier.
My mother-in-law who is deaf is so well cared for and tended by carers at Serenity Care-Supported Ltd. We cannot thank them enough for their caring nature and excellent communication with my mum-in-law. The manager always texts me if there's an issue and she is always so courteous and supportive. Their service is excellent and it made us feel relaxed knowing care is being provided for in a empathetic and approachable way. We thank you so much.
Care for mum began in August when she was discharged from hospital after breaking her hip. She had also been diagnosed with dementia and cancer. Care commenced and she was still able to move around with her walking frame. The girls who came 4 times a day to help her were so caring and helpful. Mum slowly started to deteriorate and required more and more help which the Carers stepped up to. Helping her get out of bed, dressing and helping her with her meals. Towards the end of mum's life, we had two carers per visit as she became bed-bound. Two carers per visit was an enormous help to my sister and me. They were so caring and compassionate with her. Unfortunately, mum passed away this week, I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone concerned with mum's care.
