View Full Details of Alina Homecare Winchester & BasingstokeI was impressed with Alina Homecare from the visits beforehand by the management to the lovely lady who came three times a week for a few hours each day to care for my mum while I was on holiday. The carer was efficient, friendly and respectful of mum's needs. The app was a great help in giving specific details of each visit.
I am happy and satisfied with my new carer for the last four months, I feel as if she is my best friend! My life had got very flat and now I have the companionship and care above and beyond, that was promised. My confidence has risen and I'm able to achieve much more than I have been able to in several years. I have not one single complaint or issue and would highly recommend this service to anyone who needs it.
The manager went above and beyond with the care of my father. Her professionalism and care in all areas regarding my father, from the initial meeting to her understanding of my father's dignity down to his wife's comfort and opinions needing to be taken into consideration was exemplary. She managed to put in place a care package for my father at short notice and was a huge support both practically and emotionally for everyone during a very difficult time. Nothing was too big of an ask and she became good friends with both Dad and his wife. I would recommend the manager and Alina Homecare without hesitation, and actually have already done so to another family member!
The manager was thorough with her assessment on the first meeting and put myself and sister at ease to go on holiday at the same time. She went above and beyond for my Dad who does not like people in his home. Having the app was fantastic being able to see how he was each day. Thank you to the manager for everything we know where to come in the future.
Finally decided I needed help with things around the home and with care, and I’m so glad I chose Allina; they have been brilliant when I’ve had to adjust timings due to work and other things. I’d recommend them to anyone needing home care services.
Absolutely outstanding carers and so much more! They go above and beyond to ensure my parents are well. They are always punctual and courteous and make my parents' every day better. Five stars from us all in all categories.
I contacted Alina when I came out of the hospital after surgery and needed more help than I anticipated. Other care companies would not take me on for a short contract. They came to see me the next day, discussed what I needed and agreed to put a package in place for a week, extendable if required, (which was). I was made aware of all charges up front, nothing was extra or added on when I wasn't looking. I received several calls to make sure everything was okay over the time I used them. I was lucky enough to be cared for by the most charming, lovely, thoughtful, kind and respectful young lady I could have wished for. I have been a domiciliary carer and have worked with some far-from-caring carers. Not so in this case. I suppose it all depends on the carer assigned to you, but in my case, I could not be more grateful for her help.
My father has late-onset Alzheimer's and was recently pushed out of hospital without a care plan in place. Alina Homecare responded immediately to provide sport until the CRT attended. Since then Alina Homecare have been there every day to support my father. I know who is coming as the rotas arrive in good time and I can tell Dad the name of the carer for each day which is important to him. The staff are excellent and Dad is always happy to see them. I couldn't recommend Alina Homecare highly enough.
Alina Homecare has provided excellent service from the initial call to enquire about their services to starting to care for my parents who have both reached a stage to where they needed some support to enable them to stay independent in their own home. The team leader spent time getting to know my parent's needs and requirements. Communication is very good and rotas are sent weekly so that my parents know who is coming and consistency of carers is very good. My parents have Alzheimer’s and vascular dementia which can be a challenge for them, but they have adapted well to the support they are getting which is a credit to the team supporting them. I would not hesitate to recommend Alina Care.
I was very nervous about asking for help for Mum but from the moment I picked up the phone the team leader could not have been kinder or more understanding. There is a real personal touch to this service, it was also the team leader who came to assess Mum and listen to her needs. Mum greatly enjoyed my time away because the team leader and her team gave her expert, friendly care and showed kindness with laughter too. Will definitely use it again, really impressed.
Alina Homecare took my care package as an emergency when my husband was admitted to hospital. They went above and beyond to get my care in place rapidly and staff have been fantastic, caring and supportive. They ensure I’m eating and taking care of myself. They also pick up things that aren’t right and escalate them as needed. The team leader has been fantastic and gone above and beyond to get the package set up and in place within 24 hours. I would highly recommend them as a supportive and caring organisation who will sit and listen if you need to talk, as well as being proactive and giving you the time you need to do the tasks and remain as independent as you can. Also great having family access to my care notes so family can see how I’m doing and any concerns that might arise.
I chose Alina Care after a lot of research and reading the reviews of a lot of agencies. The care is for my 95-year-old Dad who has Alzheimer's and who is recovering from a hip replacement. From management through to the carers we have absolutely no complaints! Two members of staff in particular got the care plan spot on and all the paperwork was in place before care started. As for the carers they are professional and tidy in their work and very good with my Dad, the laughter that comes out of the bathroom is a lovely thing to hear. We really don't have any complaints whatsoever. Thank you all.
I am a registered blind person, I came out of hospital in October and didn't want to go back to the care agency that I was with as I didn't think much of them, so while I was in there I was introduced to Alina Homecare who came in and did all the paperwork and assessment, the reason I like Alina Homecare is that I have the same person nearly all the time and because I am registered blind that is very important to me, I think that they are wonderful as they go the extra mile for me like bringing me a Christmas dinner, helping me to sort out my new mobile phone, helping me to sort out my problems with my internet and emails, going to click and collect my shopping a couple of times, doing my washing a lot of times nearly every day. So all in all I am really glad that I changed and went with Alina Homecare as they are all really lovely and wonderful going the extra mile a lot of times.
My treatment has been polite, caring, and considerate.
Mainly we are pleased with the service Alina provides. The carers are very good and always willing to help. Occasionally the rota causes a problem. We know it is inevitable that sometimes there have to be changes but often not informed of the amendments to timings in the rota.
Alina Care had only been assisting my disabled daughter for a short time when they told Adult Services they could no longer care for her due to staff leaving. We were told her care would end on 21st November. However, on 5th November no one turned up to help my daughter with her evening meal. After waiting one hour past the time the carer was due, my daughter rang them and was told they were no longer providing her care. No notice was given to my daughter. Don't think this is acceptable. Whilst I appreciate the care system is in crisis people should not be left without care with no notice. Care companies need to find out why so many staff are leaving.
By the time Alina Homecare Basingstoke became involved in helping with the care of my father he had extremely limited mobility and was almost bed-bound. Without exception, I found the carers professional, kind and easy to deal with. They were concerned to maintain the greatest amount of dignity for my father whilst getting on with the necessary care. They arrived promptly, communicated information well to the rest of the family and did a wonderful job of making my father comfortable in his final few weeks. He himself loved chatting to them and getting to know their various personalities. It was a sad and challenging time for our family, but Alina's involvement was so much appreciated. I would like to say how grateful our family was for the way they cared for my father, who was 93.
These carers are wonderful caring and understanding they go above and beyond what's expected of them. They do the job because they generally care and not just for the money. I would recommend Alina Homecare to anyone looking for genuine carers.
Our overall experience has been one of satisfaction. Carers have been well trained and very respectful of our situation.
Very happy with all the help the carers have given my mum. They have looked after Mum in a lovely kind way and also always let me know if anything is not right straight away. I am very thankful for all they have done.
