View Full Details of Aroma Care People LtdTheir work and friendship is very good. It is very easy to get on with them, its so easy to talk to my helpers. The review is good and I like the key box.
Overall service was good, didn't always know who was coming or when.
Your staff is generally very good but sometimes you put two learners together that do not know all of the procedures and the client has to show them what to do. Not good recommendation.
My mother is getting really good care. Happy with the carers. Always been happy with what they do.
I have Experience overall care from someone, the care and the support I am receiving from these carers are poor, staff always late to appointment sometime I will be finishing my appointment they called management, one day I called 27 times at office, no one pick up my phone to speak to me. 2025, the the carer comes on and off on time, Too much to say so no space. I do not know if it's value for money.
Good service all around by Aroma Care.
We have only been clients for 1 week. The carers who assisted us have been polite, friendly and caring. The help and assistance have been appreciated. We did have a Sunday morning visit which had a problem. The carer didn't arrive until 13:00. Visitors who came at 11:00 gave my Father breakfast, but he remained in his nightwear until 13:00.
The girls who come to shower me and help with other jobs are excellent carers. I am very happy with them. The management is not great. This winter is the longest I've had the same 2 carers almost every time.
I enjoy seeing my regular carer, she is kind and thoughtful. She goes above and beyond to make sure I have everything I need and am well cared for. She is always friendly and smiley. I understand that carers are busy people but it is helpful when they can arrive at regular times. This has been OK recently.
The carers are always well presented in their uniforms, wearing a name badge would be helpful for the client and anyone else who is present when carers are there. Carers are helpful when a urine sample has been requested by the GP for example. Ideally, if carers had more allocated time they might have time to chat.
My son has carers, he is autistic so finds it very difficult trying to build a relationship with the carers, one carer in particular he has taken to, I cannot fault her she does a wonderful job.
Terrible company, no care plan ever put in place. Most carers were rude, never spoke to me and a particular person was very rough and pushed me around. Have cancelled after trying for a few weeks but things got worse. Cares! they do not have a caring bone in their body. Beware at all costs.
Met with a lady to do care plan, the plan was amazing. But not once was the care plan ever followed. Pads not changed, wet beds not changed. Bedding not changed. Double up carers turned up with just one but billed me for two carers. Dirty pads left on floor, poo left on floor. My mums house was a mess. Did not stay full time they were being paid for, when complaint put in the manager was very rude, complaints were not always followed up properly. Even social services was not happy with them. Medication problems. Personal care not done properly. Instead of sorting out a complaint over carers lying to distract nurse and other issues they gave me 28 days notice. They are poorly managed, carers blame management, management just would not listen. I left them before there end date as was not suitable for mums needs. Got an email today admitting I have been charged 7 hours for carers in March that were not there. Would not recommend.
Social Services allocated their disgusting limit of 30min call in care to my Dad in his 90's with a broken hip. Lucky we got Aroma Care Coventry who looked after Dad and then Mum 98, in their last months of life between Oct 20 and July 21. The carers were excellent. Not an endless pool of different people turning up at all times of the day as we had previously experienced with another company, but two stable teams of a male and a female working together. Brilliant. If occasionally they were later than expected I knew it was because they had spent extra time on another client in need. When my father needed extra time on a call they gave that to him. My father passed in December. Then they provided call-in care for my mother until a live-in could start. Having the same staff that had attended my Dad helped my Mum in her grief. The amazing live-in carer they sent us cared for my Mum like I, her daughter would have until Mum died. Aroma Care staff you are dedicated, bless your hearts.
We are currently taking up our issues with this agency with them - they are responding in line with their complaints procedure - and with social services. My review relates to the last 6 months. In relation to staff, this review template requires that you select one category. I have therefore had to select 'poor'. However, many of the staff we have encountered are caring people, who deal with my relative with dignity and respect, however, this is not consistent, and we do not blame the staff for the failings of the management.
Aroma Care Coventry were assigned by social services in March after my father left rehabilitation care and came home following a stroke. After a short period of different carers, he was provided with a main carer who was excellent. He was a very gentleman who treated my father with dignity and respect. When his main carer had days off all the other people sent to look after Dad were lovely. After a number of months Dad’s main carer left and was again quickly replaced with another main carer who again treated Dad with such gentleness and respect. If occasionally they were later than normal for their call it was because they needed to spend extra time with a previous call, which we understood and appreciated as when my father needed extra care on a call they provided that to him. My father passed away in September, but I can’t thank the Aroma Care staff enough, as the care they gave my father was excellent and enabled him to spend his last months at home.
