View Full Details of Carefound Home Care (Wilmslow)The care I have received has been consistently thoughtful and kind. My carers go out of their way to make my life comfortable and pleasant. My condition makes it impossible to write any more. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
All the Carefound Home Care staff seem to enjoy their work and are always very pleasant and professional. Any issues we have had are promptly and sensitively dealt with - my husband was very against accepting care at first but the girls worked hard to gain his confidence. He really likes the carers who come but still hates having people in the house, however in his more rational moments, he accepts that I can no longer care for him without professional help. The care is by no means the cheapest available but if you want the best you have to be prepared to pay a slightly higher price.
Helpful staff soon integrated into the workings of this household. In addition to routine, anything to be done readily identified and action taken, often with no prompting necessary. A notable feature is a pleasant attitude in their work. At all times a pleasure to have around.
My experience of your home care is as follows - It is the first time I have had to use a carer owing to my hip surgery. The management who visited was professional, polite, helpful, and easy to get on with. The carer staff who helped me were friendly and treated me with dignity as it was a bit awkward at first. We were able to establish a daily routine from getting out of bed, washing, dressing, and help walking downstairs. My recovery has progressed well with their help and expertise. This respite care is now coming to an end and I would seriously recommend your company to anyone who needs help and assistance including family and friends.
Having fallen downstairs and broken my femur whilst visiting my daughter in the Cotswolds, I was extremely anxious on my return home, where I live alone, that I would not be able to care for myself, especially whilst showering. My carers have treated me with the utmost care and respect, listening to my needs and helping in every possible way, even when I just needed companionship, so that I am now confident enough to shower when alone and am recovering with their help. I cannot thank them enough for all their kindness and care. My regards to the team for your help and sensitivity.
Our experience with Home Care has been a very pleasant one, the carers have always been very jolly and caring when picking my husband up taking him to the Coffee meetings, and bringing him home safely. I would have no hesitation in recommending Home Care.
My Mum's experience with Carefound has been very good. She has 2 visits per week and as a person with restricted mobility (after a fall which broke her back) and dementia, she benefits from both assistance with bathing and also, importantly, from the contact time and social interaction this provides. Carefound staff are friendly, helpful, and reliable. Management is attentive and effective in helping me plan Mum's care.
My father continues to be delighted with the service provided by Carefound Wilmslow and regularly comments on the fact that we chose the right provider. All contact at all levels is both professional and effective - down to receiving the rota every Friday to working with us on days/times whilst my father was recently going through radiotherapy. The carers are punctual and kind and caring at all times and my father feels very well cared for by them. The carers are well-matched to him and he thoroughly enjoys their conversations and sense of humour - we and he could not be happier with the care he receives and have no complaints at all. Thank you Carefound!
All staff who visit me are polite, caring and professional. The service provided is reliable and communication is excellent.
Very efficient.
An excellent service. The staff are friendly and understanding. Their visits involve lots of laughter.
Very thorough and efficient. Look after me very well.
Extremely satisfied with all areas of the service.
Whilst most of the carers have been excellent I have had continual issues with management about trying to ensure the number of carers is kept to a minimum due to my husband's anxiety - this has proved to be very difficult. Have had issues with times of calls where extra calls were put in place but with no discussion on what time would be best and call times being changed with no notification. Management only want to communicate by email and seems extremely reluctant just to pick up the phone and talk to me. Due to the issues with management, I have had to unfortunately find another agency. Get rid of the management and pay the carers a decent wage!
Carefound have been providing 2 hours per day (morning and afternoon) supplementing the work of a live-in carer, and providing the legally required second person in hoisting. They began in November 2021 and ended in January 2024, because the funding model involving the local council was insufficient - I regret that.
We used Carefound for my mum for five months, gradually working up to 24/7 care. We were very happy with them and, in general, found the carers to be of a very high standard in terms of professionalism and pride in their job. The management were very clear in their communication and, as we needed to increase the level of the care, the discussions around the options available to us.
In my experience of Carefound I have had no problems. They are always helpful on the phone if I have to alter the arrangements. My carer is willing to do anything I've asked of her! I can't at this time think there is anything else I need, but to know they are there in the future is comforting.
I was very pleased with the service provided by Carefound both in an administrative and practical service. The initial interview addressed all concerns and was backed up by an explanatory booklet with charges displayed in advance. I was supplied with a weekly rota advising me in advance who to expect each day, and the actual care providers (I am advised by my husband) were very pleasant and chatty, which is something he welcomed and willing to undertake a number of tasks, which would be viewed as being non-caring but nonetheless needed. Also, I understand they remained for the one hour requested.
My mum needed help with getting showered and dressed in the morning. The care provided was excellent with absolutely no complaints from Mum - which is marvellous in itself! Thanks very much to the team at Carefound Home Care who were both professional, understanding and most important, caring.
We needed extra care support for my father and from engagement to care provision, our experience has been very good. The management team were very efficient in arranging the care and with communications with the family. Whilst my father was well cared for and found all the carers supporting him kind, helpful and supportive.
