View Full Details of Helping Hands Home Care (Bromley)The service my mother-in-law receives is excellent. My mother-in-law's care is great - respectful and kind and always helpful. The office is excellent at making small changes as her requirements have slowly become more complex.
We required a carer to assist my mother-in-law following her chemotherapy treatment during which her health and mobility deteriorated. We only used the carers for a short period but we found the carers and client service team to be professional and caring. We may need to use them again in the coming months.
Reliable friendly and helpful service. Flexible when we needed to add extra visits and great communication making admin easy for us. This means we can have confidence that Mum is looked after well during her visits. Her carer also does some jobs around the house, which is so useful for us.
Please read this as our comments re the past months since the new management team came into being. We enjoy a very good relationship with the manager and her team and find them helpful, considerate and efficient. All this whilst we occasionally have to change the normal rota because of changes to my wife's situation. Regarding our usual carers then we are entirely happy as we have now built up a strong bond with them. They are efficient whilst displaying the vital sympathetic receptiveness which is so important and appreciated by us both.
I first contacted Helping Hands Home Care (Bromley) seeking help looking after my wife. In particular, I wanted home care so that I could visit my mum in Scotland. Helping Hands (Bromley) visited for a thorough initial assessment that helped us decide what care we wanted. They matched my wife with a lovely, kind carer and her visits are now a weekly highlight. My wife enjoys the company and someone keen to do the jobs that I tend to ignore. We have found the office very good - letting us know if a different carer is coming, or when helping arrange extra care sessions (enabling me to visit my mum). My wife's care is regularly reviewed to check that we are happy with the service.
It is my great pleasure to write a review for Helping Hands Home Care. For nearly a year I've been enjoying the excellent care and service Helping Hands has provided for me. During this time they have sent me some excellent carers. They are punctual, reliable, respectful and kind. They do their work diligently and most importantly they are kind. It's hard to express their overall excellence. This has been my experience. The initial assessment when they first visited me was thorough and this I believe is the reason why they have matched me with a particular carer. I can't speak highly enough of them.
Five years ago I had an operation that resulted in the need mainly for social and physical help. During that time I have had a number of carers, all of whom had met my needs in a respectful, caring and efficient manner. In some cases, in the recent past, they have become indispensable.
Helping hands have provided a reliable service. The carers have all been pleasant and have shown kindness and understanding to my mother.
Helping Hands provided a top quality service to my dad in his final 2 years. The carers are genuinely interested in their charges and the office personnel are unstinting in helping everything go smoothly, even when we got things wrong. I can thoroughly recommend them.
