View Full Details of Home Sweet Home Care LtdWant to say a huge thank you to all the team. I have had many other agencies in before and the care was nothing compared to the care we are receiving now, as a family we can rest knowing the way our mum is cared for... thank you
Home Sweet Home Care have been a real lifeline for my friend, without them she would have definitely ended up in hospital. I have witnessed myself the care staff being diligent, caring and compassionate, and my friend is very fond of them. Well done, keep up the good work.
Home Sweet Home is a great service to my ageing parents. I met with one member of staff initially to discuss their needs and to understand the services they can provide - very professional, understanding and accommodating. She carried out a full assessment and returned with a very detailed care plan, which we were very happy to accept. All the carers that have attended to my parents have been professional, understanding and caring. They meet all their needs in a pleasant and friendly manner especially when they can be difficult sometimes! We are very happy with the service and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for carers. Sometimes Mum gets attached to certain carers and if they're on holiday or change that’s the only downside but that’s for us to settle her.
This company are amazing for palliative care, they really care about the people they care for and there families, and management are always looking to improve in all aspects. This is a challenging business.
Badly run company, and carers mostly do their best but timetables are non-existent. 9am visit turned up at 12.05pm, today, the 9am visit turned 10.37am. 1pm visit turned up at 3pm, did not give anything to eat. I was at the hospital, but watching on internal camera, when they left at 3.21pm the sitter gave my wife a sandwich. When I returned from the hospital waiting for the 5pm visit, they didn't arrive. Phoned office at 7pm to see what was happening. Was told they would be there soon, now 9pm still not arrived. Instead of 4 visits she has only had 3, that's if they do turn up. My wife is bed bound and cannot move, she has been lying in her own mess for 5 hours now. I cannot see to her as I am disabled myself. You get fobbed off with every excuse when you complain. This is not the first time this has happened. I will have to see about changing to a more efficient, caring company. Do not use them.
Used Home Sweet Home for nine months, started off good then went downhill. A couple of the carers are amazing and lovely kind caring ladies. Office staff are rubbish, have no idea what they are doing, couldn’t coordinate a monkeys tea party (I’m being polite), we had missed calls, on-call service was rubbish, wouldn’t answer phone. Even owners can’t be bothered. I suggest you steer clear of this company as you won’t get the service you pay for or that they promise to supply.
The carers looked after my husband in his last few days. They treated him with respect, dignity and spoke to him while they were attending to his needs. They were also very caring with myself, and said if I had any problems to tell them and they would do what they could to help me.
