View Full Details of Evoo Health Care LtdIf I could put zero stars I would. Carers would leave Dad's keysafe open, his key in his front door, leaving him vulnerable. They didn't complete the care charts each day. Medications were missed resulting in Dad having a chest infection and an out-of-hours call to give him antibiotics. I made numerous complaints and felt ignored so contacted CIW and Adult Safeguarding and within a few hours, Dad's care company was changed. The following day a carer let himself into my fathers flat.
Absolutely atrocious company. My mother had 6 different home visit carers across 3 days, 5 failed even basic safety precautions for mobility-impaired patients. Zero experience in dealing with Alzheimer’s patients. Failed to use the remote lift on the armchair and get my mother out of the chair in a safe manner and failed to put the bed guard up on the bed. Failed to shower her 2 days running even though instructed to shower daily. Failed to apply barrier cream to prevent bedsores. Failed to understand that my mother is not capable of making decisions and kept asking her what she wanted. One carer asked my mother if she wanted to get ready for bed to which my mother said ‘no’ ( she has no comprehension of time) and the carer said ‘okay see you tomorrow’ and proceeded to leave without providing any care. Called her back and insisted she undress her for bed. She had her stood up in the bathroom without any mobility aid to balance while she removed her trousers. No case notes were left for carers to follow.
Just wanted to say a big thank you for the kindness and care shown to our mum. It really is very much appreciated especially during this difficult time. Take care, stay safe.
I am not given to writing reviews generally, however, I am so very pleased with the service we have received. They have been kind and supportive at every turn whenever I have picked up the phone during the virus outbreak, and before I have always had a 'can do 'response. The girls have cared for my palliative mother with a level of care that's given me the confidence that all her needs are met. They have been adored by my parents and always have smiles even in the darkest of times. They have even looked after dad even though he's not their patient, a cup of tea and time are priceless to him. From the start, they have been exemplary and I would have no hesitation in recommending Evoo and their employees to anyone looking for a high standard of care.
Since we had this firm my life is much easier. Looking after my husband; nothing is too much trouble for them.
Without the care, assistance and professionalism of all staff we have encountered from Evoo we would be completely lost. My father is happy and content in his own home/environment.
