This is difficult for deaf old ladies. My Mum was locked in the house, her carer took the key with her instead of putting it back in the key safe. This is a safeguarding issue. Management couldn't care less! The same carer heated up a chocolate eclair in the microwave then a week later the same carer served a chocolate eclair on top of a ham salad. It's now been 2 weeks since Mum's bed sheets were changed. The carer refuses to do it. Bare in mind Mum is incontinent. This agency seem to think it is acceptable to treat clients worse than animals, they constantly claim for time they are not doing. The carers are run ragged whilst the owners get richer and richer whilst living abroad. Avoid at all costs. Please don't put your loved ones at risk with this horrendous agency.
So Flow started supporting my grandmother mid January 2023, I was extremely apprehensive as we had previously had a bad experience with another care home agency in the summer of 2022! Since Flow have started to support my grandmother I cannot praise them enough, they deliver person centred care, maintain my grandmothers dignity at all times, they involve and encourage, my grans skin integrity is amazing and they are very quick to inform us of any concerns relating to my grans health etc . My gran is happy and doesn't get upset or agitated during or after a visit. Massive compliments to her carers they are both amazing and I couldn't wish for a better care team to look after my grandmother! I am a senior care lead in my own job role and know from experience what is expected! They deliver high standards.
