We decided to go with a carer rather than a cleaner as I am beginning to suffer from arthritis and will probably need some personal care at some point, and wanted to get used to having a carer. The service is wonderful. The carer is always on time and always does what I ask. The work is done excellently and the carer is always smiling and friendly. We look forward to our visit every week.
Bluebird Care provided my dad with daily care visits when it became apparent that he couldn't look after himself properly, particularly with preparing meals, taking medicine and personal hygiene. He was reluctant at first and I wasn't sure how he would respond to carers. Within a very short space of time, Dad established a great rapport with his main carer who was supportive, caring and professional but also with a great sense of humour and the ability to chat about the things my dad was interested in. I'd been struggling to get Dad to wash and change his clothes. After a couple of weeks of gentle encouragement from his carers, Dad was clean and well-dressed. The carers also helped with washing and drying clothes and making his bed - things which I no longer had to do! Dad's main carer kept in regular contact and would leave messages for me if things were needed. I can't recommend Bluebird highly enough for their professional, supportive, efficient and person-centred service.
The service we have received from Bluebird is second to none. We were made to feel at ease from the initial home visit to meet my parents. The manager explained in detail the service provided and a care plan was set up. From day one the staff have been so caring and thoughtful going above and beyond, a massive thank you to the two carers who regularly keep in contact. Altogether a completely exceptional company whose staff offer the highest level of care and service to my parents.
The care providers are very good and easy to make contact with, they keep good control over what is provided. Their staff are caring and respectful. All in all, we are very satisfied and could not do without them.

Bluebird cared for my father-in-law before he had to go into a care home, they were excellent always on time and caring. They never rushed him and would not leave until he was happy with everything they did for him. The staff were kind and efficient. I was so pleased with them that I have now employed them to help with my mother's care. A certain staff member makes sure we have a full care package in place and that Mum is happy with everything. I would recommend them to anyone looking for care.
My brother who has Parkinson’s with associated dementia has been cared for on a daily basis by staff from Bluebird Care. My opinion as the brother of the care receiver - living remotely- has been very positive. The carers have been professional, attentive and kind. It is always easy to discuss administrative issues like changes in the routine so wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone needing this type of service in the area.
I contacted Bluebird Care to help with my mother in law’s care in July 2022. She was low in mood and felt isolated and lonely following the death of her husband of 60 years. She was also becoming increasingly forgetful. I have to say that she has improved immensely since the Bluebird carers have been visiting and she always looks forward to their arrival. The office team always respond to any queries promptly and efficiently and have been very helpful in increasing the number of visits when my husband and I are away. I thoroughly recommend Bluebird to anyone in need of carers.
Bluebird carers visited my father three times a day, he was 102 years old and very independent, but limited with some jobs such as cooking, clothes washing, changing and washing sheets and general housework. They were great with him and he loved seeing them, he was happy to let them help with his daily crossword! When he suddenly became unwell, within a day, twenty-four hour care was in place for the last two weeks of his life, even to the point of a carer popping in to help the attending carer to turn him. I can’t thank them enough for the emotional support they gave as well. I would recommend them for the care they give.
My mother has received care from Bluebird Care since October 2020. We chose them initially because of their person-centred care and commitment to sending a regular team of carers as my mother has dementia and familiarity is important. They have delivered on this commitment. The carers coming to Mum have been kind, conscientious, respectful and gentle, but also fun, many said they really enjoyed caring for her and working for Bluebird. Their care enabled her to remain healthy and content in her own home for far longer than many professionals anticipated. She especially enjoyed companionship calls, when she was taken out on trips to a variety of places, which made her very happy. The company is very easy to deal with, communication is easy and prompt and everyone in the office, including the managers, knows and cares about their customers, their circumstances and their welfare. We will always be grateful to Bluebird for being an important support for Mum and for us as a family.

It's a very hard decision when a loved one has an illness and you have to find care for them thinking who can you trust, but with Bluebird, the trust is there and wouldn't go with any other company.
This Home Care Provider is excellent. They went out of their way to get care in place to get my husband out of hospital. We only used them for a very short time but each of the care team was so helpful. Never rushing my husband to do anything. And so patient. Bluebird Care cared for my sister who is disabled and has dementia. The whole team do a magnificent job. Nothing is too much trouble. Everything I asked for was provided. Mom was very reluctant to agree to carers in the home but since Bluebird carers have been supporting her she looks forward to their visits and praises them constantly. I love the way they make her tea in the morning - just the way she likes it, it’s the simple things that really matter and they really do care.

I have reviewed the wonderful Bluebird Care Company before, but have to add a comment about their recent reaction to our changing needs. Following advice from carers who have called recently, and been concerned for my husband's welfare, I asked if the time of his calls could be altered. This is going to happen immediately, and we quite simply cannot thank the carers and the admin team enough. The new timings will make a huge difference to my husband's well-being. I have to once again, stress what an outstanding company Bluebird is. Carers are unfailingly punctual, courteous, respectful of my husband and his needs and yet also very friendly, lighthearted and always smiling. We have every confidence in them. They begin and end our days in peace and comfort. They are clearly committed to the company and to the people they care for. Thank you, Bluebirds!
The service received from the carers for our elderly mother who has dementia is very good. They have been able to assist with the routine requested admirably. Any "tweaks" in the service they provide or "one-off" requests have been undertaken. Carers also give feedback on any potential health issues. Administration is very good, invoices are always correct, timetables delivered in advance and any alterations in service are advised in advance. Bluebird Care also update us on other services available. We would encourage Bluebird Care to give advice on interactive activities that would improve our mother's mental health and also on better products that would help e.g. a better phone system. We have stopped services momentarily due to Covid but will return - an update on carers' injections may speed this up.

At short notice over the holiday period the field supervisor arranged support for my father. At this stressful time Bluebird Carers ensured my father ate hot meals and made him hot drinks. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the field supervisor and all the carers who helped and supported my father at this time.
