They all encourage mum to get out a bit more and try new things but also offer companionship if she wishes to stay at home. My mother enjoys their company and appreciates the support she has been given.
What a lovely lot of carers who always go the extra mile. Easy to talk to and easy to get hold of them available 24/7. Always treated with dignity no matter what. Do care, shopping, companionship and trips out.
Since my return home from 'hospitals' and 'care home' during 2020 and 2021, I have enjoyed the help I have received from the Bluebird carers who made visits during the morning period. They were all cheerful, helpful and offered to do any job within reason, also able to converse with them on everyday problems and talk about my family who live in Australia and New Zealand.
We have been using the services of Bluebird Care Ferndown since December 2020. During that time we have been extremely satisfied with the standard of care and support provided. The initial provision of our carer was arranged very sympathetically and have always believed that our needs have been foremost in the minds of those administrating the service.
This care agency is the most caring, supportive and professional I have been with to date. Carers and management staff are always friendly and thoughtful to a fault.
Bluebird were very helpful in helping arrange for additional care and liaising with social services.
My husband has dementia and is unaware what to do regarding cleanliness. He would not go in the shower for weeks sometimes. I contacted Bluebird about my concerns and have never looked back. They are very kind and treat him with utmost dignity. He is shaving and showering every day now with their help.
The office staff are efficient and arrange sitters and shower ladies for us. The carers are efficient, kind and caring carrying out their duties with a sense of humour and a smile.
My experience is excellent with your lovely carers. The only thing I would like is a 7 am start every morning (as it is not possible for me to get out of bed unassisted to 'spend a penny') although I realise this is sometimes difficult to arrange.
The Supervisor has been very patient and understanding of my aunt's requirements and has tried to accommodate her preferences in relation to care times, particular carers etc. The carers themselves are always very helpful and try to do everything they can to allow my aunt to remain living safely and comfortably in her own home.
The service hasn't been without its faults, communication with the office could do with improvements! Two members of staff, in particular, are responsive and super helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. They are polite and understanding of the situations that arise and do their best to help. The majority of carers have been outstanding (a few have gone above and beyond) in the care for my nan and any issues that have arisen have been dealt with quickly.
