I had been looking for home care for my mother for some months and when I found Heart To Heart, I had high hopes. My Mum lives on her own and doesn't always know what she needs or what is best for her. Everyone at Heart To Heart have been amazing. From the care and support they provide Mum to the communication with me and their understanding on needs going forward, not to mention handy tips about local knowledge and networks; everything has been exemplary. I think perhaps the quality that has stood out most is their ability to analyse a situation and work out what it needs, whether that is physical care or emotional support. Highly recommend.

I had never had a reason to use this type of service before so was greatly pleased with the help I was given for my Stepmother and the help with any concerns for her. Her actual words to her nurses (that is what she calls them) were "You are the sunshine of my day". This lets me know she is very happy with the ladies who visit her and also they sit and chat to her as well as doing the care required of them. The chats are very important as she does not have many visitors during the day. I have a very close relationship with the Care Provider, which makes it very easy for me to request any further help if required. The word "no" is not in their vocabulary and they will try to help to make life a little easier for me. This to me is a very important asset for me and my family. I would be totally lost without them and so would my Stepmother.

I worked in care for over 30 years myself so when I needed care for my mother I was a hard person to please after having a not so good company to start with we decided to change and put the care of Mum into the hands of Heart to Heart Home Care. They are outstanding, the way Mum is cared for is amazing. Nothing is too much trouble, hearing her laughing and singing first thing in the morning is so heart warming. They treat her with care and so much kindness above and beyond anything I could have wished for. Mum is disabled and they manage to encourage her to do some things for herself in a way that Mum can manage. Recently I’ve increased the hours of care as they are now assisting Dad with a few tasks he now has difficulty completing on his own, they help in a way that he still feels he’s independent. They are always treated with kindness dignity and respect. Not forgetting the office staff who are always helpful whenever I’ve needed to contact them. I can’t praise this company enough.

Just over 5 years to the day our family decided that it would be helpful to both my husband and myself to find a carer. It was only on investigation we discovered Heart to Heart Home Care Agency and that, to our great delight, it was based in Reepham. Since then we have had nothing but expert care and kindness from them. My husband has multiple sclerosis and the carers have always treated him with respect and dignity, yet encouraging him to keep his independence where possible. They make sure he is safe when transferring and are happy to go at his pace, with patience and good humour. They have good common sense and suggest different ways of managing things which we both have never thought of doing. There is tremendous banter and conversation, which my husband enjoys and his spirits are kept high by their engaging chat. They are also very good listeners! We couldn't imagine our lives without them and count ourselves so very lucky to have found this splendid Agency in April 2018.

Heart to Heart Home Care Agency have been helping me look after after my dad who has Alzheimer’s for the last two and a half years. Without them I’m sure, I wouldn’t have been able to keep Dad living in his own home for so long. I can’t praise the Heart to Heart team enough. They all treat my dad with the utmost respect, kindness and good humour. Their communication with me is excellent and they are always willing to go the ‘extra mile‘. We are lucky to have their support.

It’s a worrying time trying to arrange care for elderly parents but my mind was set at ease when I first contacted the manageress at Heart to Heart for a chat about the possibilities. The wonderful thing is that we have two regular very kind and attentive carers, who we are really getting to know. My Dad, who needs help showering and getting ready in the morning, is happy to accept care from them both. Little things have made a difference for Mum, she was concerned about outside shoes on the carpet but all carers who attend now put shoe covers over their shoes, it’s attention to small details and adjusting to us as a family that is so important.
