View Full Details of Caemac ProfessionalsExperience excellent. The staff are attentive, very perceptive of needs and caring. Will always attempt to accommodate my needs, going the extra mile. Very professional car and really treat you as an individual.
This agency was extremely professional and well organised. The manager went to visit my father in hospital prior to his discharge before he came to stay with me under palliative care. They advised on care equipment in the home and visited four times a day. They were punctual, polite caring and compassionate. They were skilled in various areas of caring and treated my dad with dignity at all times and went above and beyond, and if they felt that something wasn't right they would discuss and advise the next step. I will always be grateful for their help during one of the most difficult times of my life and feel blessed to have had such a great care team for my late father. It's not often you come across such kind, dedicated staff. In my eyes they are saints and I wish the manager and the team all the best for the future.
My husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer last August and given six-twelve months to live - he actually died on 5th January this year. The speed with which the cancer suddenly took over shocked us and our family. The support and care we received throughout my husbands last weeks from the agency was amazing - carers came in four times a day to look after him and sometimes overnight as well - everyone was kind and professional and made sure my husband was kept comfortable at all times. He was always treated with dignity when the carers were dealing with his personal needs. Thanks to them I was able to keep my husband at home with me and he never went into hospital - despite the restrictions of Covid and the fact he was ill over Christmas and New Year he always received the best of care and I had all the support I needed too. I would like to take this opportunity of thanking the manager and all the carers who came to our home during this very difficult and tragic time.
Caemac Professionals have been providing care to my mum who lives with me at home for over a year. The carers are efficient, punctual, very caring, and sensitive to her needs. They visit 4 times a day to attend to my mum's personal needs and provide a sit-in-service to allow me to have a break. They are always able to help and support me in emergencies. For example, my mum vomited and soiled herself in between the carers usual call times, I urgently needed support to change her immediately. I called the office, and they were able to send carers to my home immediately. Caemac are always ready to help when emergencies arise and I find the office staff very helpful. I also have my own health needs and I have had to request, at short notice a sit-in-carer for my mum to enable me to attend hospital appointments, they were able to accommodate my request. I am comforted to know that my mum is well cared for and surrounded by happy upbeat carers who make her laugh.
Dedicated, reliable service received from management and carers working as a team to deliver a high standard of care. My husband was treated with respect, courtesy, humour and the utmost care. His comfort and wellbeing were paramount to the carers who were always very presentable and dressed appropriately, adhering to COVID policies re PPE. Continuity of care was amazing, especially over the past few difficult months with the emergence of COVID. This continuity was particularly appreciated as my husband was in the extremely vulnerable group and it lessened our anxiety considerably. Cheerful carers that we could rely on were very welcome into our home and we were so grateful to receive their expertise of care. Any concerns were highlighted by the carers and acted upon accordingly to maintain my husband's comfort. The manager was always extremely kind, helpful and reassuring should any queries be made and equally I was kept updated as necessary.
My father is terminally ill and the care he is receiving from you is very respectful of this. The main carer always asked me how Dad's night/day has been before entering his room and tailors his approach accordingly. He makes my dad feel that he has a visitor not just someone come to do a job. He respects my dad's wishes at all times. Thank you for the service you are providing.
