They have left me stranded for two weeks with not sending anyone, my first care worker spending up to three hours on her phone doing highway code. Been very lazy, this was three times a week she was doing this, did not once make me a meal saying she cannot cook. Second care worker never once offered me a coffee or even anything to eat, she threw things out that she should not have and I had to go in my own bin to get them out, then I was promised a new care worker to come today Good Friday and that’s not happening. This company don’t contact you to tell you that they are not coming but leave you stranded. This is bad service and when you hear about care teams letting you down it’s true, I am cancelling my care plan with this care team because of the bad communication with the person that runs it, communication is terrible. She will not contact you to tell you things that you’re being let down and that’s wrong.
This care agency is exceptional in the care they provide to their clients. The agency is professional, flexible, able to respond quickly, provide feedback quickly on any issues, provide real person centred service. Both the carers and the manager of the agency are to be recommended for their dedication and professionalisim. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone searching for a care agency to provide care to a family member or friend.
My wife, suffering from severe vascular dementia, needed 24-hour care when she came out of hospital. Within 24 hours of contacting Blue Crystal, the manager had visited and arranged for a team of carers to begin work. Since September 2017, the standard of care provided has been excellent, albeit, every carer is slightly different and when concerns were expressed about the one or two who were deemed not to be up to the high standards of their colleagues, action was speedily taken to remove them from the team. New carers are always given an induction into my wife's condition and are accompanied to our home by the care manager who keeps in regular contact about their performance and my wife's condition. The carers see their role as not only looking after my wife but also looking after me. They happily blend into the household. The care manager has wide experience of caring and has given valuable advice on how to cope with my wife's needs and in applying for Continued Health Care Funding.
I have received wonderful care from this Agency for my aged husband who is now wheelchair bound. I value their sympathetic attention to our needs and would not be able to manage without them.
I have used this service for a number of years now, for my mother who is now 95 years of age and suffers with eczema. The service received is excellent and the carers are friendly and caring.
