View Full Details of Belong at Home Didsbury & AltrinchamBelong at Home has been wonderful in helping us as a family to support Mum in her own home after her dementia diagnosis. That is what she herself wanted and we feel so lucky to have found Belong. The caring and well-trained team is incredibly dedicated, creative, kind and resourceful. I have no hesitation at all in recommending them to others and know they will always have Mum’s best interests and those of her family at heart.
Belong at Home provides our family member with excellent care. We had to use other providers as well until recently, as we needed more cover than Belong could provide, and they were all awful and we didn't feel we could trust them to give medication, follow basic instructions or even turn up. Belong has always been reliable, communicative and flexible. We feel like our family member is getting a very high standard of care and we trust Belong to do everything we need, enabling our family member to stay at home and have as good a quality of life as possible. The carers are all lovely, well-trained, and genuinely care about our family member. They make a lot of effort to do things with our family member to support them and stimulate them, whilst making them fun, such as crafting, cooking and walks.
I can't rate the care that my mum receives highly enough. The team supports her to stay active and happy in her home, supporting her to cook and keep up her artistic interests, always going out of their way to give her the best possible care. We couldn't wish for a better team of carers.
I'm always pleased to see my carer. She is very helpful and pleasant to talk to. She is very careful with my shopping and occasionally brings me things that she thinks I might like, even if I haven't ordered them, so it's a lovely surprise. We get on very well together.
I have carers who visit six times a week to assist me with my daily needs. They are always punctual. I love walking and it wakes me up in the morning. The carers are always happy to accompany me for a walk in all weathers, even in the recent snow. They give excellent care and often go above and beyond what is required from them. On several occasions they have stayed in their own time to make sure I am logged onto my computer for the classes and singing that I do online. Nothing is too much trouble for them to do for me.
I have found that all my needs are catered for. I feel confident that anything I ask for within reason, will be available. The care is excellent and nothing is too much trouble. One really good feature is the variety of carers, so that I don't get too dependent on one person. Any information I need I know I can get with ease from the Belong at Home Didsbury & Altrincham team. The carers also look after my two Bengal kittens which makes it feel just like home.
I enjoy the company of the team that comes to see me. I am always sorry when the time comes for them to leave. I also enjoy the company of the carers when they call in the evening and I feel safe when I have had my evening medication.
The staff are excellent. They are so kind and obliging and nothing is too much trouble. Their willingness to take me shopping etc is very much appreciated. Altogether very friendly and I am lucky to have them.
My experience with my care provider is good.
Setting up the care package was smooth and liaison with the Belong manager, when needed has been positive and constructive. The carers have been punctual and have helped my Mum to gain more confidence. They have encouraged her to improve her diet and have certainly gone the extra mile. For example - when she had a fall and I was some distance away, they stayed with her while the ambulance staff arrived and assessed her. We have built up a positive and professional relationship. Many thanks.
The service provided by the carers is excellent. They are very kind, conscientious, courteous and considerate. I enjoy their visits and appreciate the very high standard of their work in caring for me. They go above and beyond in the care they provide to me and do an excellent job. I would definitely recommend them to any of my friends and family.
Feel very safe and well looked after by my Belong carer. I look forward to her visit as besides helping me live independently she talks with me and is interested in my life.
It's a relief to have Belong ladies coming into the family home to assist my mother. It gives me the opportunity to have days of my own in the knowledge that mum will have a visit and be able to have a lovely chat and lunch prepared by the team. They have become extended family.
The support given by the ladies is beyond expectations. Always prompt. Nothing is too much trouble. Kind and thoughtful. Enjoy chatting and lunch is really tasty. Always look forward to seeing them.
Capable manager dealt with my needs. Her cheerful and friendly approach inspires confidence. My two carers are lively and interesting ladies who got me "back on my feet" with encouragement and walking in all weathers. If required I will not hesitate to contact you again.
Thank you for the friendly and supportive assistance given to our Mum. Your ladies were totally reliable and really helped her recovery. Mum looked forward to their visits and enjoyed their company very much.
Service is excellent.
It is a pleasure to write of the excellent way the whole organisation works to the benefit of my mum. The management side is efficient and there is a feeling of security that all eventualities are covered leaving no surprises to upset my mum. Only a small number of carers are involved with my mum which serves to minimise any insecurity and confusion she experienced when larger numbers of carers were involved. The carers are reliable and come punctually, again minimising any confusion. They are kind, listen well and treat my mum with all the dignity one would hope for. They follow an agreed plan very thoroughly giving an ordered and comfortable start to the day. They also care and look for opportunities to go beyond that plan and become even more helpful to my mum. The carers have formed a good bond with mum and I am both confident in, and trust, them. My heartfelt thanks go out to them and the organisation that supports them.
Looked after very well.
The team of carers is outstanding. My mother's needs are assessed and attended to by carers of the highest quality. They are sensitive to change and adapt enthusiastically. They are even-tempered and unfailingly kind. We are very grateful.
