View Full Details of Team Carita - SurreyHad a good experience and was given the same support worker throughout which made my time being supported feel consistent. Was supported with all I asked for and there was good communication and flexibility in changing times if needed overall good experience.
Promised the earth, the moon and the stars in the assessment, and delivered well below what was pitched. No documentation in place for medication administration at the start of the package, took a week to resolve and have MAR charts brought to my home - they were then filled out incorrectly. No thorough care plan document at any time, I understand this is a CQC requirement. Staff often falling asleep on waking night shifts. Some staff with poor and disinterested attitudes throughout day shifts. Documentation maintained often contained factual errors/was not signed for or was not chronological. The manager could talk the talk, but couldn't provide his many promises of solid, robust, high-quality care, that met my needs. My personal and sensitive information such as NHS number, DOB, address and medical history was for a while at first, and unbeknownst to me shared on messaging app across a wider group of carers than necessary. No true spot checks were ever carried out.
Please do not use this provider. Sadly, we as a family can not change the outcome, but strongly recommend you look elsewhere. Not to be trusted with care for your loved ones and family. Please question the training and suitability of staff.
The two carers we had were efficient and very supportive in the limited time they were allowed.
The team are very helpful and have made the process easy. Care standard was 10/10. Thank you.
We, as a family have been very impressed with the level of care we have received from Team Carita DCS-Surrey. It is very important that twice a day my father sees the same Carer, who is always so caring and considerate. What has also impressed me is we are involved as a family and we are informed. It is nice to be able to have regular contact with the Carer and the whole team.
