View Full Details of Delta Care Ltd - SouthportDelta cared for my elderly father at home for the last few months of his life, enabling him to stay at home as he wished. The carers were kind and compassionate and treated him with respect. They chatted to him, and humoured him when he was sometimes uncooperative. Some carers went above and beyond to improve his quality of life..one kind man even built him a snowman in the garden. That sort of care makes all the difference! Thank you so much. We are truly grateful for all you did for him.
I would just like to commend my mother's carer, he absolutely makes my mum's day. Her face lights up when she sees him, he is a breath of fresh air, a friendly, very caring person and very knowledgeable, so hardworking. You really do have a one-in-a-million gem there, thankful for him. My mum is a client I thought it would be good to give this review as I am so impressed with the level of care.
Having experienced the care that the Delta Care team have given my mum for the past three years, I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone needing regular help to stay in their home. Always professional and cheerful, on time and happy to help in whatever way they can. I have no need to single any one member of staff out as exceptional, as the whole team deserve that accolade.
I gave Delta Care four Stars because I would recommend them as a care company for anyone who needs community care, they attended to my needs very well as I was getting over my broken ankle and couldn’t shower myself due to my other disabilities.
My dad received high-quality care and compassion from all of the carers who looked after him. He really looked forward to them coming and they all did a brilliant job. They were friendly, professional and reliable and made a real difference to his quality of life. They seemed genuinely interested in him and treated him with dignity and respect. The family can't thank them enough for everything they did.
My husband has had care from Delta for many years. He has a main carer who is fantastic with him and will be a great assist to me in the next few years. There are a few more who now know my husband and if his usual carer is on holiday I can ask for one of them to look after him. I can't thank Delta enough for the help I get from them.
Highly professional company. So caring, respectful and flexible with the needs of my mum. The staff are so friendly and treat my mum with dignity as she has been left unable to care for herself. Nothing is too much to ask and the office staff are always helpful and easy to approach with any concerns we may have and advice is readily available. In these uncertain times, the carers arrive in PPE: gloves, masks, aprons etc and ensure hygiene is at the highest level. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to any anyone looking for care for their loved one.
My mother needs help to stay in sheltered housing. Delta has provided this and my mother really gets on with the staff. When I phone, staff are helpful and understanding. Mum could not manage without them and for me 70 miles away there is confidence and peace of mind.
Mum's carers treated her with dignity and respect and her main carer became her very good friend. The company was flexible and helpful, working around hospital stays and discharges. We never felt there was any risk of theft or abuse of any kind which means a lot to vulnerable people.
My mother has used Delta Care for nearly two years. The staff have given my mum wonderful care and I will be forever grateful. Nothing was ever too much trouble and communication was great. My mum always came first. Thank you so much.
Delta Care staff were asked to visit mum 4 times a day. On one occasion I was at her flat when the carer arrived. I asked if she had checked mums medication log earlier that day as it had changed slightly. She had not checked or signed to say she had prompted mum to take her medication. If I had not been there on that day mum would not have received her correct medication. I gave mum her lunch and the carer then washed the cups. Later that day I went to use the cups, they were still dirty inside, not washed properly. I went into mums bedroom, mum had grazed her leg the previous day, and the sheets were bloodstained. The carer had not changed the sheets. I rang to complain and was told that the manager was on holiday. Mum was then back in the hospital. I am sure some of the carers must be caring people but nothing was done about my complaint, no callback and sadly my mum recently died. I was at mums flat last week and happened to see the carer smoking outside, caring for another resident.
