My mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer and Majestic was awarded
the contract to provide care overnight via the NHS FastTrack. The first
night on 14/03/23 a young carer arrived. In the morning I saw that the
commode had not been emptied after numerous uses which I emptied myself.
I contacted the company who arranged for another carer to attend. I
decided to install a camera for the next night which captured my mother
being left alone and desperately banging her commode for help. The carer
was nowhere to be seen. The carer was later heard to say that she had
been watching a film on her iPad in the bedroom with headphones but it
is my belief that she had left the address. I reported the matter to the
CQC and received a contemptuous email from the Managing Director who
dismissed my complaint, victim blamed my vulnerable mother and
recommended installing a baby monitor. The complaint has still not been
resolved. Do not leave your loved ones in the care of this company.
