View Full Details of SJW The Wright Care LtdSJW has been supporting my parents for about 8-months, visiting twice weekly. My father has dementia, which is not easy for my mother who looks forward with eager anticipation for her visits from the lovely SJW ladies. SJW are very receptive to my parent's needs, and in addition, to providing companionship are adept at being able to determine my parent's needs during a visit, whether it is to do some help within the home, taking my parents out on a trip or to run errands. The ladies are so warm, friendly and capable. Although my parents were initially very resistant to receiving any support from an external helper, their SJW visits very quickly became a valued addition to their lives, which also gives peace of mind to myself and my siblings. It is sometimes difficult to contact SJW; this may be more to do with Covid. There could perhaps be a little more attention to personal care; this could be due to SJW responding to my parent's wishes to spend as much time as possible out and about.
Due to issues with a previous agency, I have recently swapped to SJW. The care my mum has received so far has been amazing. Due to the high standard of care she is now receiving, I can relax and not worry so much. I wish I had known about this wonderful company years ago. I would definitely recommend them.
Carers are great. He gets on with them all and so do I, always on time and very helpful to us. Carers help to do hoovering, which is a big help to me. We always get on well with all carers. They are so good at what they do.
I can’t recommend the company enough. I’ve only ever had a perfect experience from the care staff that are out and about all day to the office staff that have dealt with any issues that have arisen. They make you feel valued as a client/service user; they go above and beyond to make sure you need for nothing. All in all, I would be happy to recommend them to anyone looking for the services they produce. I have no doubt that this company will keep producing the service for many, many more years, and I for one, won’t be changing.
The SJW care team have been looking after my father for quite a while now, and I can't fault them. Dad is very happy with their care and attention, and I feel reassured that he is in safe hands when I can't be there for him. He's not the easiest person to look after some days, but they know exactly how to care for him and bring him out of his moods. The staff also keep in touch with me and keep me updated on things. They are very approachable and will happily help if they can. Dad's happy, so his family are happy.
I have been very impressed by the care we have received for Dad, who has Alzheimer’s, and in January, SJW reviewed the care package we had and worked around us to also provide care for my mum. They are always prepared to listen to our needs and keep me fully informed of both my parents’ welfare, which is very much appreciated and reassuring.
I am so grateful to be able to see "my" SJW girls every day. They make me smile and help me with my personal care. Looking forward to having my treat every Wednesday, when lunch (hopefully) will be allowed again.
After using different care companies for my dad and now with you, I can honestly say, you girls are amazing; my dad can be very challenging and grumpy. Covid-19 hasn't helped, but honestly, hand on heart, I can relax knowing you know your job and give the best care; thank you so much.
We have used SJW The Wright Care Ltd for the last twelve months, and during this time, I have nothing but praise. My stepfather-in-law can be very challenging as he suffers from Dementia, and SJW The Wright Care Ltd have managed this very professionally and with great care. A special note must also be made for how SJW The Wright Care Ltd maintained their support during the Covid-19 restrictions. Despite having to deal with their own staff shortages due to shielding, my in-law's care was not affected. The managers have been able to facilitate short notice change requests and numerous requests for hospital runs, appointments and do my in-law's weekly shop. When we researched who to use for my in-laws care, I used reviews and can confidently say that SJW The Wright Care Ltd should be your first option. A very committed and professional group of careers who put their client's requirements first. SJW The Wright Care Ltd has taken a lot of pressure off us, knowing that my in-laws care is being managed from day-to-day.
I’d like to thank all the hardworking carers who helped me to look after my lady, always with great care, understanding, compassion, professionalism and humour, during the last 12-months of the Covid pandemic. Carers going the extra mile during the lockdown, nothing was too much trouble. I am a PA, and the way we have worked together has been seamless throughout. The level of care was second to none, reassuring my lady and myself with important decisions, which had to be made. The coordination between visits/timings, to fit around the complex needs of my lady has been perfect. Nothing was too much trouble, helping with both personal care, household chores and doggy duties too. My thanks also to the office staff who kept it all going behind the scenes, always there at the end of the telephone. The incredible SJW team need to be very proud of themselves; I am truly grateful, well done, and thank you!
As having care at home was new to us as a family, we initially went with whom the hospital recommended, this was just the start of a nightmare! After waiting for a period of time, SJW The Wright Care Ltd managed to take us on board and you cannot believe how different things are. We are not just saying this, but we truly believe if it wasn’t for the excellent care and compassion we have received from them over the last twelve months, I really don’t think Mum would be here. She has gone from staying in bed all day, still in her nightie, not wanting to dress or shower, not wanting to go in her wheelchair to back to being the taking pride in how she looks again person, showering, talking and going out in the garden. Mum is bed-bound and cannot do these things herself, but has been encouraged and told she can and she does. I used to go to work or out, dreading the phone call, and there was always a phone call, not just from Mum but from the old carers. Now I can go about my daily life stress-free, and it’s lovely. Well done, SJW The Wright Care Ltd.
We had to contact SJW at very short notice and they accommodated our needs. Carers, excellent, even though they had not been before and the experience has given my mother the confidence to use carers again (SJW) in the future.
All the carers are lovely and friendly. Communication and appreciation of the needs of clients always assessed. Good communication book used all times. Mum is very comfortable around all the carers which enables her to maintain her own independence at home. Managers and carers also always open to suggestions and changes which is good for clients and families.
My husband was discharged from the hospital extremely quickly due to the coronavirus. As soon as he was home 2 ladies from SJW arrived and set about making my husband comfortable and as relaxed as could be under the circumstances. Also assisting me emotionally. Each day my husband looked forward to seeing his 2 carers x3 times a day. He laughed and joked with them. They were a vital part of my husband's return home and even though it was only for a short while, they truly did improve both my husband's and my quality of life. Truly amazing "Thank you all".
Everybody I have communicated with has been really friendly and responsive to any suggestions made. The cares always Introduce themselves to my mum to remind her of their names and are really warm, friendly and most importantly caring.
Very accomodating to my mum's needs. Cares build relationships very quickly. The company were very compassionate and supportive when assessing mum and arranging care. Mum has dementia and can be challenging at times but we are confident in the care that she receives.
Certain carers were great with Mum but some were not. I believe more training, especially with Alzheimer's or dementia. Lack of understanding and make more use of their time with her. I wished I had noted all their names now to refer the good ones as some were always very good. The lady on the phone calls is outstanding.
Outstanding care and level of service in looking after my father. Especially in the final weeks prior to him going into residential care. The additional attention and levels of conscientious care given to all of us as a family, where all SJW staff involved went out of their way to make these difficult ties easier for everyone of us was truly touching. We are eternally grateful for this.
My dad was taken away to a holiday park by two excellent members of staff. What they managed to do activity-wise with a very disabled man, was nothing short of amazing. As a family, we can't thank them enough. Also, the care my dad receives at home is equally as good. Thank you so much.
SJW has treated my father with dignity and respect. They have been proactive in medical health concerns and helped my father to deal with matters himself. I felt fully involved and reassured that my father was being cared for by very nice, caring and knowledgeable carers. Thank you so much.
