View Full Details of Jes Care Services LtdMy husband is incontinent and uses a conveen at night. The carers were not experienced at this but after I taught them, what we had found was satisfactory. They were very competent. I had requested that he was looked after by the same person if possible and that has happened. This is important because he has dementia and Parkinson's disease.
Jes Care provided excellent home care for my mother. They were efficient, thorough, professional and reliable from the start. All the carers treated my mother with dignity, respect and kindness. They became good friends. The service from the team manager and admin support was also excellent. They were always happy to respond to requests and to discuss and review my mother's care. They were proactive in suggesting changes where needed. The family was able to develop good working relationships with the team. I recommend Jes Care highly.
Kind, caring and professional - a daily delight and welcome support from the Jes team - thank you!
Could not find fault with any of the carers, they were superb, very caring, nothing too much trouble. Worth their weight in gold. Only had them for a short time but would certainly recommend them.
Jes Care Services were recommended to us by the local district nurse. They stepped in when prior services (pressure stockings on legs and arms) had run their course. We had asked for and were happy to receive help from male carers, knowledgeable with shaving and gentle in their dealings with a patient increasingly losing strength and the ability to move. They were not expected to provide food, but to sit and talk for the time spell allocated to them. The only problem: times of arrival fluctuated a great deal. I was helped with suggestions as to what to buy: a washing bowl, disinfectants.
The carers that lived in and visited Mum during her last weeks were super. Sensitive to Mum's needs and respectful at all times. We couldn't have asked for better.
I want to say a huge thank you to the team of carers who came to look after my terminally ill husband over the last couple of weeks before he was moved to a hospice. All of you were so kind, considerate, compassionate, polite and friendly. I could not have kept my husband safely and comfortably at home for so long without their regular reliable visits. It takes special people to deliver this kind of service, and I shall remember them with gratitude.
Jes Care looked after my mother in the last month of her life. They provided outstanding care, and I would highly recommend them. Our primary carer is an extraordinary woman who was able to handle the many issues that arise when someone is dying with great compassion and inspiration. Jes Care was also extremely flexible, able at short notice to provide extra care at night and then during the day, as things got worse. This meant we could concentrate on spending quality time with my mother and were able to keep her at home.
First I would like to say that I do not usually write reviews, so this shows how strongly I feel! Jescare was part of an emergency care package and when that ran out I allowed myself to be persuaded to change carers. Well, what a difference! I knew that Jescare would be a hard act to follow - but had not anticipated just how much. The carers are extremely professional and proactive and do not need to be prompted to do anything, least of all basic care needs, which I struggle with the new ones. Apart from their excellent physical caring skills they took the time to get to know Mum and to interact with her. We never felt they were rushing off to the next client, you felt as if you were the only one they had to deal with. They made her smile and laugh and I know that she didn't find their visits a chore but actually looked forward to seeing them. I can not recommend them highly enough.
My father was given a bleak diagnosis of 1-week in October 2019. What was originally set up as short term care ended up being 2-years. Jes Care went out of their way to make my father's life easy. Manages and keep him at home. They are a marvellous team, and I would wholeheartedly recommend.
Jes Care cared for my husband following a stroke. The carers were highly trained and skilled; the care was personalised and compassionate. During the last weeks of his life, it was a huge comfort that he was cared for by people who knew him well and cared about him.
On a whole, Jes Care have/were amazing and attentive with Mum, always happy, upbeat and positive. Our first live-in carer fitted in well and soon became part of the family, so to speak - attentive when needed but also respectful to us as a family. Thank you.
We, as a family, couldn't have asked for more in the 10-months Jes Care looked after our father. Every carer treated Dad like an old friend, and his everyday care was excellent, friendly and helpful to us all as a family. Would thoroughly recommend Jes Care and so glad we were introduced to them.
The care that Jes Care gave my husband during the last two and a half months of his life were outstanding. The staff all treated my husband with gentleness, professionalism, respect and great humanity. We are eternally grateful to them, as this enabled us to care for my husband at home to the very end. Without their help, this would not have been possible. I cannot speak highly enough about them. Thank you.
We felt blessed to have such a lovely lady looking after my mother. She was so kind and gentle with her. As a family, we had complete peace of mind that she was being cared for properly and that all needs were met. The carer became a friend to the family and someone we will always be grateful to.
Carers were very kind and considerate and treated my wife as I would have wished.
The service supplied was above and beyond that required.
The care provided for my dad in his last months of life was exceptional. The carers could not have done any more. Each and every one of them showed so much compassion and care when visiting dad. We could not have asked for better care.
Jes Care Services looked after my wife for ten days after her release from hospital, until her death. They provided a full service, washing, dressing, and personal hygiene four times a day. They were always kind, considerate, patient, and professional. They coped well with difficulties and were happy to adjust to changing circumstances. They made my wife feel comfortable in her final days.
The staff at Jes Care were absolutely brilliant; they were kind to both my daughter who they were helping and all of the family who was all in a terrible state. They were organised always on time, polite and just amazing. They offered both advice and support, and I will be forever grateful. They were supporting my daughter and us during the last few days of her life.
