View Full Details of AIM HomecareMy Mum has been using AIM since June 2024. Mum is very well cared for and we are both very happy with the ladies that come every day to help her with her personal needs and cook her lovely meals of her choice. Mum's area had a power cut recently and AIM contacted me to make sure I was aware and to check that Mum was OK. Things like that make you realise that they really do care over and above their contracted hours.
My parents have always been happy with the twice daily visits for my mother and have great fondness for her carers. I have always thought that they go above and beyond, providing cards, decorations and treats. Recently as my father was admitted to hospital we sought full-time care for the duration of his stay. This was provided at very short notice with some carers even giving up days off to provide cover. The care and kindness that they showed my mother was amazing making a difficult time for her as pleasant as possible. We were extremely happy to have these wonderful carers looking after her and cannot recommend them highly enough.
When my father had to go into hospital, we asked AIM to help provide 24-hour care for my mother for the duration of his stay (they were already supplying 2 care visits a day). Even though this was very short notice, they went above and beyond to provide all the care she needed including overnight. All of the ladies we have encountered have been exceptional, treating my mother with nothing but kindness and sympathy as she has found it very difficult to adjust to being apart from my father. Not only has this put my mind at rest that she is being cared for well, but the communication has also been first-class.
What a relief having AIM looking after my mum, who has dementia, but who wants to stay in her own home. The carers have taken their time to get to know Mum and taken great pains to maintain her dignity, whilst providing for all her needs. Communication with the team has been first-rate, with the additional facility of the online portal allowing me to see exactly what is happening in real-time - especially important to me as I live 200 miles away. I would not hesitate to recommend this efficient, caring, thoughtful company to anyone whose elderly loved ones need assistance.
Reliable and helpful weekly care. Carers are pleasant, professional, appropriately dressed and caring to both of us.
All of the regular carers who come to me are very friendly and extremely efficient. They are always so cheerful and have been excellent at meeting extra care when I have needed it. I feel they really know me and my background. I think my relationship with them is positive and I enjoy their visits. I have become very fond of them and feel they are friends. I value their advice and am grateful for the genuine care and concern they show to ensure I am well looked after. Thank you AIM Homecare!
Very happy with AIM Homecare. Polite and helpful staff. Always on hand. Excellent caregivers. Very friendly. Answered all questions straight away. We can not fault AIM Homecare in Fareham. We are very grateful to them for all their hard work. The supervisor is on the phone and has been brilliant.
The service provided to my wife was always caring and professional. Communication was good and response to any issues raised was prompt and effective. The carers did not just do the minimum but went above and beyond to provide personal care of a bespoke and high quality that always gave my wife a sense of dignity.
I would highly recommend AIM Homecare as they provide an excellent service for my Mum who has Alzheimer's. If there is ever a problem or query they always get back to me very quickly. Mum enjoys her visits and always says how lovely all the carers are. I get an update via an online care log system which is really helpful for me to know what happened during each visit. I have peace of mind that her medication is administered daily correctly. Whenever I need extra care for Mum if I am not around, then they always assist with this, which is greatly appreciated. I have full confidence that Mum is cared for with compassion and all requirements are met daily.
AIM Homecare has been looking after my mother all this year. Their staff and the care that they give have been excellent, going above and beyond... i.e. taking glass bottles to the bottle bank for us. The staff are always friendly and cheerful, taking pride in their work and in the care they give to my mother. I visited my mother recently - there was nothing for me to do. The house was clean and tidy - even the neighbour commented on how clean and tidy AIM Homecare has kept the house. Many thanks.
AIM has a great team of professional and friendly staff who go out of their way to ensure those being cared for are treated with dignity at all times. Nothing is too much trouble, and they are always on hand to speak to, whether you need advice or just a friendly ear.
We chose AIM Homecare because: 1. My Aunty had used them and liked them 2. They are run by local carers rather than a franchise 3. They offer flexibility, e.g. 30 or 45 or longer sessions. We've had a very positive experience. The carers are caring, which is, of course, most important. We had to support my dad after a hospital visit, but they now support my mum with heavier household tasks too. You do get different carers, and they aren't always on time. As my mum said, "we know they support other people who are much more reliant, and of course, they deal with emergencies too, so we know that they will prioritise us when we need it". Also, because carers run the service, they can come out and fill in gaps when required. This is very reassuring for me and my sister, as we know we can rely on them. They allow you to change your package easily as you find out what suits you, which is another reason to choose them.
Having the team from AIM visit my auntie 4 times a day means that she can remain in her own home. I always have peace of mind that my auntie is well cared for, and she has often told me that she looks forward to their visits. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the carers and the team managers are very accommodating, cancelling calls when I can take Auntie out for lunch, or adding in extra calls if I’m going to be away. Both my auntie and I were very grateful recently when, after my auntie had a fall, a team member stayed with her til the medical team arrived. Thank you to AIM and their team, your dedication, professionalism and friendship to both my auntie and myself is much appreciated.
AIM Homecare is one of several care providers that my mother has used over the years. And I can honestly say that they are far away head and shoulders above their competitors. My mother has been using them for many years now and is always delighted with the service, care and concern that they show her. As a son, they always keep me in the loop as to any problems that they find and advise me as to what steps to take. To my mother, they provide a caring, professional and pleasant service which she sees as a welcome addition to her daily activities. I can’t speak highly enough of them.
AIM Care has been providing care for my father in-law for some time now. It is a huge relief knowing he is being well cared for, as we do not live in the area. I cannot speak highly enough about the exceptional care provide by AIM. Care providers are excellent! If there are any issues, they ring immediately to inform me and if have any concerns, they are always on hand to help.
The entire AIM Homecare team are very caring. They pay particular attention to the individual needs of the client and encourage them to do as much for themselves as possible. They use techniques to help achieve this such as verbal and physical cues and even some singing. The carers often use humour to create a fun and productive environment. They take time to explain what they are doing and are in constant communication with the client. We have been with them for 3 years, they have helped me to cope with the situation. I'm 86 years old.
I initially felt hesitant about having home care for my father but AIM Homecare have been so friendly, so professional and really reassuring that my father is in good hands. I feel completely at ease and my father couldn’t be happier with the team who have been excellent! Thank you so much for all your help!
Since having the good fortune of finding AIM Homecare over 3 years ago, we have had an excellent experience. The carers are always positive and caring and they treat their client with respect. The AIM Homecare management team are very helpful and great to work with. The carers go above and beyond and always try to stimulate and engage with their client. They do all they can to make the experience as safe, fun, and dignified as possible.
Once AIM was involved in my parents care, I was confident that they were cared for as I would myself. Their attitude, efficiency, communication and all other aspects of their care was first-rate. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
