View Full Details of Seniors Helping Seniors Mid Surrey and West KentAbsolutely outstanding. We had a disastrous experience with another provider and SHS rapidly responded to our urgent need and have been wonderfully looking after my elderly parents ever since. They are extremely helpful and flexible, and every one of their carers is really kind as well as totally reliable. I've got to know the owner, who runs the Surrey and Kent franchise, a little and he is so impressive. Really dedicated to making a difference to his clients, he repeatedly goes out of his way to help in lots of small ways as well as delivering a first rate service overall. I can't recommend them highly enough
So happy we found SHS - everyone we have come into contact with has been kind, approachable, professional, friendly and caring. Everything we could want for our Mum from a companion/carer and especially that SHS do their best to match the helper with the user's interests such as music, gardening, literature - it all helps create a quick bond and lots of scope for chats and discussions. The social aspect is easily as important as the actual help around the house - invaluable.
We have been using seniors helping seniors for nearly 3 years. Then have been supporting my father with companionship and are very reliable. As well as companionship, the support will offer to take dad out for drives in the countryside ( which he loves) coffees and lunches out , but also are very reliable to support dad to medical appointments. We are delighted with the service.
I have found the care that Seniors Helping Seniors provide for my Mother is excellent, they are proactive and really care about their Clients. My Mother has been looked after by Seniors Helping Seniors for over a year now, in that time we have had a diagnosis of Alzheimers and they have tailored and altered the care provided with sensitivity and efficiency.
We have been using Seniors Helping Seniors for my mother's care and home help for several years and have been delighted with the service they provide. The carer who helps mum is kind, caring, sensible and supportive. She understands mum's needs and nothing is too much trouble. Mum always looks forward to the carer's visits and she considers her to be a friend. It is also very reassuring to the family to know that mum has good companionship and is being so well cared for. Communication with the office is also easy and friendly.
We are delighted with the companionship service provided by Seniors Helping Seniors (SHS). Our mum (aged 97) has vascular dementia which has seriously impacted her memory. This affects her ability to create relationships with new people and to engage in conversation with visitors. We recognised the importance a couple of years ago of ensuring she gets to talk to people outside the family and we were recommended to SHS. Mum has had the same companion for circa 2 years. She is compassionate and kind, and encourages mum to chat without making her feel anxious about the lack of memory recall. The visits are extremely valuable to mum and it gives the family a much needed break knowing she is in excellent hands for the afternoon. We find the SHS office team to be very approachable and accommodating with any requests for extra cover, etc. My brother and I whole-heartedly recommend SHS to anyone who is looking for a trusted and compassionate companion for a relative.
