View Full Details of My Homecare West KentBoth my parents' care needs have increased over the last 20 months and My Homecare have always been able to adapt quickly and appropriately to arising situations and meet their needs so that I know my parents are safe. The manager has been able to create rotas that work well for me and my parents and respond to queries helpfully. The carers are well trained and kept up to date about changing needs by the manager. They are exemplary in every way being conscientious in respecting my parents likes and routines. They are kind, compassionate and patient judging situations well. Neighbours have commented favourably on the carers. We have also been so appreciative that the care ladies we have are invariably the same. They are familiar faces that I have enjoyed getting to know and this continuity of care is also good for my parents. The carers are happy to update me as to how things have gone each visit too. Communication, continuity and care are excellent.
The carer was very kind and helpful.
The care provided to me and my husband is so good. I would be lost without them.
I am extremely pleased with the respite care I received recently, which allowed me a few hours to do other errands safely in the knowledge that my elderly mum was not at home alone. The coordinator kindly arranged two different ladies to come on several occasions. They were reliable, and respectful, and executed their tasks enthusiastically and professionally. I will definitely use this service in future and highly recommend My Homecare West Kent to others looking for support.
Reliable and kind care, always prompt and willing to lend a hand if I need. The carer's experience puts me at ease and I feel comfortable leaving my loved one with her. Would recommend My Homecare to others.
Excellent service provided by My Homecare. I am happy with the carer support that I receive and the service and admin from the management. I will recommend to anyone looking for care and support.
Overall the help given to my sister has been good, friendly and with respect.
Best carers I have used. Always prepared to do anything asked. All my carers are overworked and underpaid. They never complain about anything. The company is always easy to contact.
I have had exemplary care and treatment from the wonderful carers. I am treated with dignity and compassion. Always smiling and helpful in all they have to do.
My Homecare has provided a very reliable conscientious, friendly and flexible standard of care quality for my wife over the past year.
My husband was very ill when my family and myself felt we needed further help. Although My Homecare were very busy, they made time for us which happened to start at a weekend, the most difficult time. They made themselves available and treated my husband with dignity, care and gentleness with even a few jokes. They came twice a day sometimes with one member of staff but mainly with two. It helped to have the same carers. Words cannot express mine and my families thanks for all you did.
The overall standard is spoilt by the lack of consistency with the timing of calls. Over 50% of the time the carers arrive too late to prepare or feed my dad, as he has lunch between 12:30-1 pm with his wife. It is very stressful to wait until 1:30-2 pm and the meal is then cold. It is a good standard when delivered on time. The turnover of staff is also too high and my dad is much happier with carers that he knows.
My mum received fantastic help from the lovely carers who popped in to check if she needed anything or anything doing. She always text me to let me know they had been, and always said how lovely they were, very friendly, polite and ever so helpful. A big thank you to you all for doing an amazing job.
Being a full-time carer for my mother I was very worried knowing I was having an operation and wouldn't be able to help her in the night after the operation. I was put in touch with My Homecare and they put our minds at rest. They gave the overnight help required and were so kind and considerate. I would definitely use them again, I cannot praise them enough!
My Homecare West Kent took over the care of my brother after his long term carers stepped back so it was vital for me and my family that they would understand his needs and look after him accordingly. I needn't have worried. Not only did they carry out their duties with diligence and professionalism, but they also made sure that his birthday was a very special celebration and gave him companionship and kindness beyond the job description. Although My Homecare West Kent only looked after my brother for eleven months (because he died suddenly), it was four times per day every day and my family were very grateful to know that they were there. My brother also sang their praises and appreciated their kind and gentle manner often. When he died, it became clear just how much the individual carers genuinely cared about and connected with my brother on a human level. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
They are all charming girls. It is great to be greeted each morning with a welcoming smile to start the day off.
Right from the start, everyone involved has done all they can to make the many difficulties I have as easy as possible. 99% of the staff all go extra mile to make my day easier particularly with the current virus.
Very quick and professional, yet caring and friendly response to request for care. All details were taken with no stone being left unturned. Request for appropriate carer was met 100% and the young carer provided is wonderful. Made immediate bond with my daughter, very professional, all safe-guarding and safety issues (ie hygiene, infection control etc) strictly adhered to. The carer was so quick to grasp the needs of my daughter and respond with amazing perception and huge success. She is like a ray of sunshine coming into our home. Contact with the management is regular, caring, understanding and 100% professional.
In the past two months during my weekly visits to Kent, I have met a number of the carers who are looking after my housebound 92-year-old dad. All have been kind, helpful and thoughtful. Now I can no longer visit my dad due to the Coronavirus, I have complete peace of mind that he is being cared for properly and is well looked after. Huge thanks to all the staff who are working so hard, putting themselves at risk to look after those in the community who can not look after themselves.
Excellent - Always helpful. Staff have been amazing with my Mum. Nothing is too much trouble. They make her feel good about the day ahead. Staff have been very supportive to about arranging the visits and are very kind.
