View Full Details of Compassionate HeartI am so sad that I am moving away. The carers always ask what else they can do. I get so much care and attention from them. I shall miss them so much. Their shoes are so big to fill. They have been such friends to me.
My mother's experience of Compassionate Heart was a very positive one. The manager was very knowledgeable and pro active to any changing situations. The carer's always treated her with the utmost respect dignity and kindness, nothing was ever too much trouble for them. I know that having Compassionate Heart looking after my mother improved her quality of life and well-being during her last few months. I would therefore recommend Compassionate Heart to anyone looking for healthcare for family and loved ones in the future.
The carers always worked as a pair arriving on time with a smile and a friendly face for my husband and me. They treated him gently and with respect. I was always happy to leave them to get on with their job. As they completed the care, they always made sure my husband was comfortable and happy with the position he was left in and they called me to make sure I was also happy with everything. They definitely made his last few days more comfortable and they were with him shortly before he passed peacefully away. I would thoroughly recommend Compassionate Heart. Thank you to all.
We had an excellent experience of this company. The head of the organisation is very knowledgeable about medical procedures and about medicines and everything was perfectly organised for the benefit of my husband. All avenues were pursued to make his last few months as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The staff were very thoughtful and compliant and fitted in well with our family. We had no problems at all and all our experiences were excellent.
Excellent service provided. Fully respected all the wishes of the family and provided compassionate support, whilst respecting the dignity and feelings with thoughtfulness, and due consideration. We cannot thank the team enough for all their assistance, especially at the most challenging times. They provided a high quality service and we are indebted to them for their assistance and support through this difficult and emotional time.
The manager and the team were great from the start as they stepped in at short notice so that mum could come home from hospital. We had carers in 4 times a day and we agreed timings prior to them starting. Mum never wanted to go to bed early so we were happy they could offer a later bedtime visit which suited mum. Everybody treated mum with respect and patience. The manager often visited at lunchtime as mum was a reluctant eater and the manager would spend time with her encouraging her to eat and drink. We had an incredibly positive experience and would highly recommend Compassionate Heart to anybody looking for home care for a parent or loved one.
I am the daughter of the person receiving care. The carers are very kind, caring and efficient. They come at the agreed times, and if late, explain and apologise for lateness. They are very professional, and Dad is very happy with his level of care. We would both recommend Compassionate Heart to anyone requiring care, they are reliable, and always friendly, helpful and just lovely people. We are very happy with the service!
My Mothers's experience of using Compassionate Heart Homecare has been very positive. Every aspect of care is conducted to a good standard by friendly and knowledgeable staff, who treat her with respect and dignity. Also making her feel safe and comfortable at all times. I would not hesitate in recommending Compassionate Heart to anyone wanting healthcare for their family.
I am treated with dignity and there is a fine definition between caring, being detached and emotional involvement. The care meets my requirements.
At times of crisis and greater need, Compassionate Heart went above and beyond expectations and the care was outstanding.
The manager and her carers are very kind and helpful to Mum. They assist with personal care and getting her something to eat each morning. They are always jolly despite the early time of arrival (6:30 AM). I am confident leaving them to look after Mum.
We found the carers who came to Mum were very understanding, treated Mum with respect and took their time to support and care for her. It was a comfort to know that they were there for Mum, especially as we could not be with Mum every day. Not only did they support Mum but me as well when I found it hard to cope. When mum became very ill their help and actions were invaluable. I strongly believe that without them, Mum would not be here today.
Your carer arrived late in the afternoon. She kindly helped the night nurse to change my sister's pad and make her comfortable for the night. She had been given an injection to relax her and was sound asleep. I then went home for supper and returned at about 9.30 pm. The night nurse and your carer were in the room. After a while we noticed that my sister's breathing had changed, so realising how close she was to death, I started to guide her into spirit, the angels surrounding her, her family waiting. Very gently, her breathing stopped. Your care provider at some stage quietly left the room, while the night nurse and I made arrangements with an undertaker. Another nurse came to check the fact that death had occurred. I spoke to your carer and she agreed to leave the next morning, leaving the key hidden.
We had carers for my late wife who suffered a brain tumour. We had a live-in carer for around 3 months and 3 daily carers who came in to help. The support shown by the manager and all her staff was exemplary from the very first day to the last, professional, kind, compassionate and respectful we couldn't have asked for more.
Compassionate Hearts is an amazing service that offers the utmost care and support for the client and their family. I am forever grateful for all the wonderful carers that supported my grandma in living in her own home. The care and support didn't stop there. When my grandma was admitted to hospital, we continued to receive great support and advice from the manager. The manager and all the carers are truly remarkable people, who always show great humanity and compassion.
Very pleased indeed with my outstanding, very hard-working carer. I couldn't get anyone so caring and dedicated to her job, looking after me these past five months. She is happy in her job, always has a smile on her face and is a kind person who makes my every day a better place to be in. A very all round loving lady.
The care my mother had was exceptional kind and caring and nothing was to much trouble from a very wonderful lady. We couldn't have wished for better care - thank you so much for all your kindness and consideration.
Wonderful carers - kind and patient; consequently Mum is calm and settled. They complete tasks as Mum prefers so things are harmonious and stress-free. They are pleasant greeting guests and make a welcoming atmosphere which is lovely.
After having carers from another company since July 2022 and all three didn't give my mother the care she deserved I'm submitting a formal complaint to CQC. CHC contacted Compassionate Heart. Compassionate Heart sent a carer on 22 September 2022, then I was pleased that then my mother had the care I was longing for, the manager promised me my mum would receive top care which was given. Sadly my mother, my world, passed on the 25th, the carer helped me through the first stages of my pain. Then after the manager called to send condolences to me, so I know the last few days of my mother's life were comfortable so much so I've asked if the carer will attend the funeral. I can only thank Compassionate Heart for the care she finally deserved and the help I personally was given. Thank you for everything you have done in the four days, one carer. This tops the three months, three carers I have had. Personal thank you to the carer, hopefully see you at my mum's funeral and this door will always be open for you.
The only negative I had was that I had to ask for company from my carer and it was pointed out that the carer waits to be asked, as they prefer to give client privacy. I didn't want privacy, I wanted company but now that has been resolved.
