While we were away in India for 6 months my father-in-law was admitted to hospital for an operation, he was then sent home. The manager visited him out of hours as she had concerns and called 999. He was readmitted with other health issues. She made sure that we were kept up to date with what was happening and staff visited him while he was in hospital, and went above and beyond to keep us updated, sending us emails at every step and we were truly grateful. I can not rate this company, the Manager and the staff highly enough. They are all amazing.

I have nothing but praise for the manager and her team. Since asking her to put a care plan together for my elderly mother in August she has not only delivered but exceeded beyond any expectations. She has come up with solutions time and time again with her team. She keeps me informed almost daily and when there have been concerns her attention to detail has been incredible. Myself and my two brothers can not believe the level of care she provides and in our opinion goes above and beyond. It is also testimony to her dedication in providing a service fit for purpose. My sister-in-law whose mother is of the same age and lives in Cambridgeshire receives nothing akin to this service, no roster or feedback. I would recommend the manager and Folkestone Home Care to anyone thinking of employing a carer. Even my mother at 92 who was with Adult Services as a manager with KCC for many years and many years ago appreciates the level of care she receives now she is on 'the other side'.

I wouldn't be able to cope without the carers arriving each morning to wash and dress my husband as he is now frail and has dementia. They are very kind and understanding and I would recommend Homecare.

Very pleased with the service provided, it is nice to know the times of the carer's visit. One of the biggest benefits is having my feet and back properly washed and ointment applied as I was not able to do this efficiently myself. I have found it helpful to discuss with the manager potential care provision post-operatively having regard to the fact that I am living alone.

The manager and the care team at Folkestone Home Care have been tremendously helpful in being the support I needed for my elderly mum. As I live abroad, I'm unable to be with my mum and help out with all the things that invariably crop up week to week as she struggles to maintain her independence. Not only has the manager been excellent at organising my mum's day-to-day help but also rises to the challenge in the larger tasks that require careful planning. There have also been emergencies, and at a moment's notice, she jumps to and again excels at organising and communicating with all involved. She has a solid knowledge of medicine and is able to organise medication, keep excellent records, and converse with a medical team on these matters. I'm very thankful to the manager and her team for all they have done.

From the first day Folkestone Home Care started looking after our 89-year-old friend we have all been more than impressed with the high level of care provided. The manager and her girls are brilliant - they get on well with all of us in the house and there is always lots of laughter. They have a really professional approach to personal care and supervise occupational therapy exercises which is a load off our minds and means it is not us nagging all the time! We know the manager is always ready to help and is just a phone call away. This has been proved twice in emergency situations of late. The manager and her team are giving us our life back and care for the well-being of all of us in the house. We cannot recommend Folkestone and the team highly enough. They have exceeded our expectations and become friends while providing the highest standard of care and support in the most professional way.

The manager from Folkestone Home Care has been of great help and support to me navigating the private care home system when it became apparent that domiciliary support at home was not sufficient for my mum. The manager has been on the end of the phone giving guidance and advice which has allowed me to find the right care provision for Mum Folkestone Home Care went above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you so very much.

The manager has a very kind and caring manner with a friendly smile. She has been very good at reassuring my elderly parents that she and the team will look after them and that they are in safe hands. She is very efficient, organised and full of advice even before the team started attending to care for my father. The manager has listened to our concerns and has managed the timing of the visits to fit in with my mother’s wishes. Adjusting to strangers going into your home can be tricky and sometimes quite stressful but she has reassured my parents and made them comfortable with the situation.

I was recommended by a friend Folkestone Home Care, when looking for some much-needed help for my mother. I cannot believe the wonderful care they have provided they are a wonderful team and cannot do enough to make my mother's life easier for her to be able to stay in her own home. I've been caring for my Mum on my own for the last 4 years and it's difficult to allow someone else to help with such personal care, but they have helped me so much because Mum is happy and loves all the girls it makes my life better and now allows me quality time with Mum. They are very professional and I can truly say that I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Folkestone Home Care is extremely well managed and its staff extremely well trained. Those who have cared for me have shown exceptional attention to detail, carefully assessing my needs and planning my daily care routine, and ensuring carers assigned to me are thoroughly briefed. They are friendly and approachable and have treated me with compassion and dignity throughout. The provider has also gone out of its way at times to accommodate my needs. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

The Manager and Folkestone Home Care understood the care needed for my mum and acted immediately when circumstances changed. You couldn’t want for better carers, they really care about the person and engage with them, not just for physical care but their mental care and wellbeing. I cannot recommend them enough.

Reliable, responsive, reassuring, professional and totally empathetic are just some of the words that could be used to describe the Folkestone Home Care team. When I was faced with the reality of having to choose a care provider for my 91-year-old mum I really couldn't have made a better choice. From the initial planning stage through to service delivery the Manager and her team have been flawless. The friendliness of the carers and the kindness and patience they show my mother (and me!) have been without equal. All of my expectations have been surpassed and I would have no hesitation in recommending Folkestone Home Care to anybody facing the difficult task of choosing a Care Team for an elderly loved one.

Folkestone Home Care have been providing home care for my 95-year-old mother at our flat. My mother is in terminal decline and her medical care is palliative. The team is characterised by its compassion, professionalism and love. Every team member has performed faultlessly and delivered sustained care of the highest quality. They are angels.

Absolutely recommend Folkestone Home Care. I had to find urgent home care for my mum with dementia, due to her partner passing away. The manager came out to meet us straight away and was so friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Carers were in place and a rota drawn up within a few days. Really impressed with the care provided to my mum by the lovely girls, coming up with ideas for lunch plans, playing the guitar for her and being flexible with us needing cover for her appointments and lunches. The carer even went with my mum to the hospital when she was found to be unwell one morning. Definitely glad we chose this company.

We are extremely pleased with the attention we have received from Folkestone Home Care. Our first interviews were helpful and all-inclusive and resulted in my husband being cared for, for three hours per week so I can have time to myself. The carer always arrives on time, always greets my husband with a smile and conversation, and I gather spends time looking at books, going around the garden and engaging in conversation. She also does my ironing! My husband is always relaxed and happy on my return. I feel completely at ease leaving him with his carer.

Our carers are so friendly. My husband likes a laugh and we end up having a good laugh all together. They are very professional, very good and even do his exercises with him. My husband doesn't take to people straight away, but with these carers, he is very comfortable. They take great care of him. They are worth every penny we pay. They keep an eye on his blood pressure and send the results to our doctors. Always clean up after they finish. Cannot speak highly enough of them.

We have been using the services of Folkestone Home Care for 2 weeks now. The initial contact and information with was very professional and the introductory meeting very helpful and informative. My father has since been very happy with his daily visits and I would be very happy to recommend them to other potential clients. They do seem to be a company who really care.

Very happy with Folkestone Home care. They go above and beyond. Always punctual, caring and considerate. They always ask you how you want things done. They treat me with dignity and respect at all times. They are all really easy to talk to and I have a lovely chat while they help me every day.

I did a lot of research when looking for care for my mother and was drawn to Folkestone Home Care as their response to my initial enquiry was personal, not just a standard business email, but a phone call to better understand our needs. This initial impression was then matched entirely by the time that they cared for mum. Her needs developed at a speed that confounded the medical profession yet, at all times, Folkestone Home Care responded with compassion and support for all of the family, flexing their services to deliver what was required, at times with no notice. Then, when it became clear, that Mum's health was failing, they used their knowledge and influence to support me to get Mum the best possible help. Our family will never forget the support given to us all by Folkestone Home Care and would recommend them without hesitation.

With the advancing years of my parents, I had to look at care options, especially for my mother who has dementia and no mobility. An abortive residence in a care home which resulted in my mother being admitted to A&E led me to look at domiciliary care providers who could meet her care needs. Folkestone home care were the most impressive of the local care providers being genuinely interested in my circumstances and my mother's care needs. It's now been three months since Folkestone home care started supporting my mother. The carers are professional and attentive and the proprietor is very approachable and knowledgeable. I am particularly impressed with the concerted effort to improve my mother's skin condition when undertaking personal care as I was resigned to it being poor due to incontinence. Given the current state of social care, I am relieved that I managed to find Folkestone homeware and happy to recommend them to others.
