View Full Details of My Homecare HaringeyEvery day of the week, for one hour in the morning and one and a half hours in the late afternoon, my carer visits me for personal care and a bit of cleaning (and changing of the sheets of the bed) to prepare my food. She is extremely dedicated and has a friendly way to deal with me. I enjoy her presence as much as her work.
I am very happy with the services I receive from my care provider.
We used My Homecare Haringey to provide extensive daily help for my mother in my home for her final months, and for occasional help the previous year. Carers were cheerful, attentive and paid attention to detail. A high level of personal care was required and carried out respectfully and diligently. We needed two carers four times a day for several months so inevitably there are days which don’t go to plan but the agency were willing to sort things out. If there were problems with sourcing enough carers or being able to provide for specific times the agency was flexible about negotiating changes in a way that worked for my family. Carers were also supportive and respectful to our complex family during a difficult time. Most importantly my mother was happy with the carers and was well looked after. I strongly recommend this agency.
Thank you to My Homecare for helping provide additional care for my Great Uncle. The whole process was far simpler than I expected, especially as our situation was not straightforward. All the carers themselves were pleasant, punctual and helpful. Everyone dealt with us all in a sensitive and dignified manner. Arranging the care was very efficient, thanks entirely to a member of staff, who couldn't have been kinder or calmer, settling our frazzled nerves when things from the family side did not always go quite to plan. She was a breath of fresh air, nothing was too much trouble and the whole process was straightforward and far less stressful than we had anticipated. The company as a whole also offered us the flexibility that others could not. I would not hesitate to use My Homecare Haringey again and would recommend them.
So far the care service I am receiving has been very helpful to me.
I live with Parkinson's disease and before I was admitted to the hospital, I had care from My Homecare. I was having three visits a day. The carers were always on time and they spoke to me very nicely. They were there to help me with my personal care during the morning, lunch and evening visits. Mainly it was always the same two carers and if there was a problem, the office would always call to let me know. Both the office team and the carers were very good to me.
Since joining this company we have received very poor service. The staff are rude and the company manager and owner tries to justify the actions of the staff by blaming the family. On Tuesday they sent no carer and expected me to provide personal care whilst having Covid. As a result, my mother was left in a wet pad for hours as I couldn’t go near her. This was not the first time their carer failed to attend. They show no empathy or understanding. I would not recommend this company to anyone and am concerned about how other vulnerable people are being treated.
Service was not good at all, my father asked for toast one morning and he literally got given toast with no butter on it. My father is 87 and was not being cared for by the last carer he had, the previous were nice but the last one was a joke! I would love to say more but I can’t, I would say just make sure your loved ones are able to speak up about the carers and do listen if your loved one is not happy.
Thank you to all at My Homecare (Haringey) for your support and assistance during my hour of need post-operation care, whilst my next of kin was not available. Your help was very much appreciated.
We have two excellent carers. Thank you so much for doing an outstanding job. You are both brilliant and I can not praise you highly enough.
Happy with carers.
Care is delivered very professionally and with concern shown to the individual needs of my brother. The carer is always prompt and can be flexible when required, and she is always cheerful and positive and a lovely person to have around.
All the careers are very friendly and make my day better because of how alone I am most days. They are very helpful as well, they ask me how I feel and make sure I am ok and talk to me about what I have been up to the night before, what games I played on my PlayStation and if I watched any movies or tv series. I would definitely recommend this care agency.
My Homecare Haringey provided care for my now 91 year old mum, over the past 20 months. All her carers have completed their duties with competence, sensitivity and good humour and several have brought exceptional diligence and thoughtfulness to their work. I always felt that every effort was made to treat Mum as a person, not just a client. Communication with the manager and senior carer has always been excellent and the online portal is a really helpful "window" for the family (although it's a shame we cannot post comments/responses to the carers' notes) I was always impressed and gratified by the flexible response to Mum's increasing needs, never more so than in the last few weeks prior to moving to residential care. I would happily recommend My Homecare Haringey to other families.
The staff and management of My Homecare Haringey are very helpful and kind in my time of need. Always ready to help. They are very reliable and I can trust them.
The manager and her team have been fantastic throughout a difficult time. It has provided huge peace of mind for all our family knowing that our relative has been cared for so well during her convalescence. Communication was excellent and our relative found all of the team assisting her to be friendly, caring, gentle and trustworthy. We would not hesitate to recommend the team to any other family with an elderly relative needing short-term or long-term care.
Staff and management of My Homecare have been helpful considerate and always ready to listen to any problems that may arise. They have been especially capable, willing and efficient during these days of the pandemic and always ensure the visits are met successfully.
We have found the agency and the staff exceptionally accommodating and flexible throughout these difficult times. They are totally reliable, very friendly and basically do whatever is asked of them. Every day we give thanks that we found them.
The My Homecare carers sent to look after my father are very good and some are excellent especially when they sit and talk with him for a while, that is comforting to see. They are very good at keeping me informed about his well being. Some could do better in notifying me if food is running low so I can do an online shop. Management is very informative and understanding.
