View Full Details of Home Instead (North Norfolk)The ladies that looked after my husband were 100% professional. They attended to him with care and dignity, until he went into a care home. Nothing was too much trouble for them, even seeing to the dog!! Thank you.
Home Instead (North Norfolk) took great care to match my father-in-law with a support team who had similar interests/background. He is now able to enjoy local walks and good conversation. My husband and I are relieved to have some support in place so we have all benefitted from the arrangement. I have found Home Instead to be prompt, efficient and friendly when I have contacted them via email or phone. I am not sure how we all managed before we had Home Instead.
Home Instead have been excellent with my mother's care. After my mother was discharged from the hospital without a care package we contacted Home Instead and they have been amazing. The care that they provide is 100%.
Myself and my mum are both very happy and relieved with the care that has been provided for my dad. We are now able to relax more and not worry so much. Both carers that Dad has been assigned are really lovely, warm and caring. We have also found the office staff to be so friendly too and provided us with the support and reassurance we needed. Thank you to everyone as it's a complete team effort and we are delighted to have chosen yourselves to help care for, support and look after Dad.
Home Instead team have provided outstanding care and support since September 2019 for both my parents, enabling both my parents to remain at home. The team have always been so kind and supportive and feel part of the family supporting my dad, especially when Mum died in October 2023 until Dad died in June 2024. Fantastic team, thank you to everyone, you are all stars.
The level of care and support my Mother received from all the Home Instead staff was and is excellent. It has been a huge comfort to me as her daughter and the staff is visiting and keeping an eye on her - thank you for all your support.
Dad has received great support from the care team. Hid daily home visits allow Dad to live his life in the best way he can. Recently Dad was accompanied to the local town twice by care professionals for important medical visits. Thank you to the care team for the support you give Dad!
The coordinator was superb and supported us when finding and arranging carers. He was quick, efficient, helpful, and had a cheerful 'can do' attitude at all times. We had one longer-stay live-in carer, and in my father's last few months a variety of day/overnight carers, who were all professional and competent and treated my Father with warmth and kindness at all times.
I have nothing but praise for the Home Instead care professionals who supported my mother. They provided genuine kindness, compassion and sensitivity in their approach to supporting her. My mother was initially reticent and uncertain of 'strangers' coming into her home but soon became comfortable with their daily visits. Having four/five regular carers meant that she soon got to know them and, just as importantly, they soon got to know her. It was hugely reassuring for me to know that she was being very well looked after. The app enabled me to keep up-to-date with how my mum was coping with life each day and flagged up any concerns. Office staff were always responsive and helpful; communication was always excellent. Thank you so much for the difference you make.
Home Instead have formed a very supportive relationship with my aunt and have gone that extra mile to support her when we have asked for help. They are very good at liaising with us and are very organised and responsive. The team have always shown kindness, compassion and understanding to my aunt and have been very good at responding to her needs and enabling her to stay in her own home.
From the start, Home Instead have been sympathetic and professional partners in my Mother’s care. While reluctant to have carers at first, she soon grew to welcome the regular visits and chats. Home Instead were able to flexibly respond to changing requirements and helped Mother remain in her own home. When it really mattered, their response to a Sunday evening emergency was exemplary.
I was very happy with the service provided for my mother by Home Instead (North Norfolk). The organisation from the schedule to the carers themselves was efficient, caring and professional. I could not have wanted better for my mother and would like thank all those involved in looking after her.
My Mum has been with Home Instead for three years now. During this time she has had regular caregivers who have showed Mum kindness and understanding. She welcomes their visits and enjoys their company. I think it’s important that the regular caregivers come as they have built up such a good relationship with Mum. I feel very reassured living quite away from Mum that she is being well looked after. She has been able to keep her independence which is very important. The Management continue to support us and deal with any queries quickly and with understanding
Home Instead looked after my Mum on the basis of daily visits for a period of approximately 2 years. We were really impressed with how caring they were. Their staff consistently went the extra mile in looking after Mum and formed a really positive, friendly relationship with her. I would highly recommend them.
Home Instead make great play about their superb rating and access to many excellent live-in carers so we were happy to secure their services for our mother. Whilst most of the carers provided were good or excellent one "hand-picked for your mother" carer turned out to be anything but and she effectively did little for 3 days. This resulted in exposure to the failings of the management of this company. Refusal to discuss openly, lack of communication amongst themselves, lack of a complaints procedure. When the accounts were issued (had to be asked for) they contained serious errors amounting to more than £400 a day twice. Not one apology was made for any of these shortcomings. After much effort, a settlement was reached about outstanding dues. Still no apology. Still, no evidence they cared. Ironic for a care company. I would give the genuine carers high marks but the management sadly gets the lowest possible.
Home Instead have looked after my elderly aunt in Cromer for two and a half hours every day for the past twelve months. My aunt's strongest desire was to remain in her home as long as she could and Home Instead made this possible. At every level of the organisation, they have shown both compassion and professionalism and I don't hesitate in recommending their services to others.
Home Instead initially cared for both my parents then my mother when my father died. All the carers provided an excellent service of care and companionship. The family felt mum and dad were safe in their care and carers often went the extra mile with their care such as cooking a Sunday meal or going on hospital visits . Carers were consistent to enable them to get to know mum and dad well. The agency always answered our queries quickly and efficiently , were available 24/7. The report app provided an excellent way for family to keep up to date with mum and dads care. Grateful thanks to Home Instead for making a challenging time easier especially when we couldn’t see our parents during Covid lockdown.
A reliable, efficient, trustworthy and caring service. I get prompt answers to all my enquiries and I find the care workers and the support team flexible and responsive. I value the genuine consideration shown towards my mother.
Home Instead was recommended to me by the motor neurone team, who had an experience of them caring for other people with MND. I found the Home Instead team very easy to contact and the only people who were confident they could deal with the challenges they might face when someone is very incapacitated. My partner and I engaged them to come and help get him up in the mornings, bathe him in his chair (which he found very comforting) and help him dress and have his breakfast, which often had to be fed to him. He got to know his two regular carers, who alternated - they became friends he could trust, rather than a different stranger every day. It made my life so much easier, and the two lovely mature carers eased my worries. Had he not died unexpectedly, I would have been very happy to engage them at other times in the day! I was pleased Home Instead was there as a firm supporting agency at one of the most difficult times in my life. Thank you, everyone!
My father 84, a widower who lives alone, with his little dog, suffers from symptoms of progressing Alzheimer’s, mainly memory issues and confusion, is a relatively ‘new’ client of Home Instead Senior Care and has only been receiving ‘companionship care’ from his caregiver for a few months. This was conducted by a home visit for 2-hours each week, until the Coronavirus lockdown changed that to contact by telephone, a few calls a week to cover the same time period. This has been very good for him having somebody trained and knowledgeable to help and assist with any issues he may have; a friendly chat with a familiar person is always good. At first, he wasn’t sure he needed this support, but as I and other family members live 4-hours hours away, we thought it was essential for his wellbeing and our peace of mind, that he had some extra support from a professional care provider to keep an eye on things and report any concerns to us. So far, this has been very good.
