View Full Details of Rainbow Care Solutions (Merseyside)Rainbow carers visited me twice a day for the last 10 months after my stroke. Every one of the girls are lovely, cheerful, and respectful. They are all from Africa (mainly Zambia and Nigeria). They work very hard under difficult conditions. Many of their clients are elderly and some have dementia. Some of their clients smoke in front of them and refuse to ventilate their homes and take advantage of their uncomplaining nature (Liverpool girls wouldn't stand for this)! I love all my carers but wish Rainbow would look after them better.
I'd like to start off by saying this isn't just from August this year, my mum has been with Rainbow Care for a number of years now, lately things have deteriorated with Mum and her condition which has devastated myself, I've never known a company to step up and support not only the client but family as well. They have supported me so much through all of this, even when I'm not well I get regular updates throughout the day on how my mum is doing, they check up to see if I'm ok and if I need anything, these girls deserve a medal, the outstanding work and support they do is out of this world, they always make sure Mum is very well looked after. Mum's face lights up when her main carers come in the house which is lovely to see, all the carers are so good with Mum.
The first seven days were provided on discharge for my mum two carers attended every visit. As a brand new care package, they worked well with my mum to establish a good routine. Particularly they supported her to manage her care tasks independently as she improved. Following the review of the care, it was agreed that it would be reduced to one carer and this transition was seamless. It is amazing that a consistent carer attends, this is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your care.
Rainbow Care Solutions since taking over Dad's care has been excellent. Dad can be difficult at times with washing and dressing due to living with Alzheimer's, but the carers are supportive, understanding, patient and polite with Dad. They are also thorough with his hygiene needs. The same rota of carers has been provided so they are used to Dad and he seems to be happy with them. The care plan provided is comprehensive but easy to follow and understand. I'm happy with the care that Dad is receiving.
Excellent experience with this company who go the extra mile in making sure people are looked after properly. Easy to talk to staff who are extremely punctual and treat you with dignity whilst providing the best care at home. I fully recommend.
Rainbow Care Solutions have been providing care services for my mother for several years. Although her behaviour has often been challenging, the carers have shown great patience and compassion in meeting her needs. As her medical requirements have increased, they have provided her with her prescribed medication, meals and increasingly, have attended to her personal care. Communication between the team and myself is particularly effective and if there are medical concerns during a visit, action is taken to contact her GP. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They have worked to establish a relationship with my mother and provide a regular rota of staff who are familiar with her needs. Extra services such as shopping and preparation of meals have been provided by arrangement. As I do not live close by, I have always felt reassured that my mother is being taken excellent care of and being assisted to remain living in her own home.
Having had problems with my mums care in the past we as a family are so happy with the care my mum has been receiving from Rainbow Care Solutions (Merseyside). My mum can be very difficult having dementia and Alzheimer's and the carers are so patient caring and considerate. Nothing is too much trouble. They are very understanding of my mum's needs and go above and beyond to make sure she is looked after. The office staff are very supportive and sort anything needed out straight away. Couldn't ask for more.
