View Full Details of Passion 4 Care (Stoke-on-Trent)Good service , kind and friendly staff. Reliable keep to the same routine everyday. Pleasant and friendly people/staff. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for care people in the local area.
My mum was treated amazingly by the ladies who came out, 3 times a day, to prompt Mum with her medication and help her with her personal care. Their professional yet friendly approach on what was a difficult time for the family, witnessing Mum's decline, was much appreciated. My mum died on New Year's Eve and we thank the whole team for their fabulous support.
When my wife's care first started, it was a struggle as her illness made her very obstructive. After a few visits it was decided to bring in a second carer, this helped and for a few weeks, she went along with the process. The reason the care was needed in the first place was because she was not changing clothes or showering. For a few weeks, it certainly helped and she even thanked the carers after each session. In the last couple of weeks, she has become more obstructive, and I have been trying to encourage her to let the carers help her, with very little success. I am struggling to find a way to get past her obstructiveness and the carers are wary of the chance that she could become violent.
Could not wait to end our service with this company. The client is my elderly mother who has Alzheimer's and all the horrible issues that go with the disease. Apart from one carer, all the others completely failed to grasp how to interact with her and give decent personal care. Lack of training and experience contributed to that. Always in a hurry. A scheduled 45-minute call was done in half that time. You cannot rush someone with Alzheimer's, it doesn't work! Timekeeping was a joke. 6am one day, 11am the next. Absolutely no consistency. On the 2 days a week, we politely requested a set time (within 30 mins) to prepare mother for daycare, but they consistently failed, leaving my mobility reduced father the task of getting her ready. My suspicions are they are given a totally unworkable rota and workload. I genuinely do not have a single decent word to say about the Stoke management. Absolutely no confidence in them or respect for them. Good riddance.
I like everybody who works for the company; they are friendly and very accommodating. They are always smiling, and nothing is too much trouble.
I have been with you since 9th December 2022. I am very pleased with your service. It's nice to see a friendly face because sometimes I get lonely and struggle to get things. I've been blessed to have a happy and friendly team. Thank you.
No dignity is given to patients. Unable to communicate with clients due to non-English speaking care staff. Over a thousand pounds worth of damage to property and management does not want to know. Over 6 months now waiting for a response after numerous phone calls. District nurses also registered complaints against the carers due to safety issues, and cross-contamination. She also contacted public health England after what she had witnessed. Avoid at all costs if you are looking for care for your loved ones.
Amazing quality of are provided. Hardworking, professional and high standard of care given, nothing was too much trouble. Very pleasant staff, thank you to each and everyone who helped care for my Mom. We will be forever grateful!
