View Full Details of Perfect Care - GatesheadPerfect Care have looked after my mother, who has Alzheimer's, for some time now. All the staff have been lovely, both carers and office staff, and have kept me informed if there are any issues. It's such a shame Gateshead Council are not going to use Perfect Care in the future, so I would like to take this opportunity to thank Perfect Care for the service which they have provided.
Fabulous first week. No issues. Mum's transition from council care to private was seamless. Care plan in place is detailed and accurate. Although I have not met all of the team yet. Hats off to one staff member in particular for making my mum's first week easy. Very caring and approachable. We feel safe knowing Mum's being looked after well.
All the carers at Perfect Care can't do enough for me. They are the only people I see and put a smile on my face. They all make me feel that I am still able to be as independent as possible. In the morning they feed my cat first as they all know when she is sorted I'm happy. I appreciate every one of them.
I would like to thank one lady for taking the extra time and effort to manage my mother's care. She has helped both me and my mother, and we are both now in a happier place and feel comfortable with the care plan she's put in place.
My only concern of Perfect Care, is that the carers and sitters do not stay at my dad’s house for the contracted times, ie Dad pays for 60 mins on an evening and the sitters only stay for about 50% of this paid for time. Once out of the past 22 days has a sitter actually stayed the full 60 paid for minutes. The carers are never there for the full time that the local authority have requested, again probably only around 50% of allocated time. I hope this is taken into consideration when the invoice is sent out?
Carers are good with my parent. They usually manage to come in at approximately the allocated time. I’d like to get the minutes filled with a bit more chatting and not just dash in dash out. My parent pays for shower help 2x per week and of course cannot be forced, but more evidence of trying or not paying for a service would be appropriate. Given the paid for service is a paying for time service. If a visit is allocated/paid for 15 mins or 30 mins and it lasts 5 or 15 mins should the bill not be reduced to reflect this?
Perfect Care carers have proved without a shadow of doubt to be the "perfect" carers for my father. Perfect Care have allocated a handful of caring stars who are genuinely absolutely lovely individuals who are so approachable and have gained both respect and trust from my mother and father. We as a family consider Perfect Care have given us peace of mind that Dad is safe morning and evening with carer's visits. Not only safe, but socially stimulating for them.
Have lovely carers going in to look after my nanna. I use the app provided to check on her daily care. Nanna is happy as we normally have a regular carer that comes and that is a great help to us. They make sure she has something to eat and drink and all her care needs are met to a great standard.
