View Full Details of My Homecare West SussexWhat can I say such caring, helpfull & cheerful guys cannot do enough to brighten up his day they do a wonderful job in the situation would not be able to cope without them.
The care aspects are excellent and a bit easier for all concerned with the recent installation of the hoists. Perhaps the other aspects of the help could be improved. Sometimes the washing machine has not been emptied. As regards shopping, more attention is required to prevent over buying of things like cheddar biscuits or black pepper. If my mother is making a list, can the carers please check that list against items in the kitchen to see if they are required. I was phoned by my mother who advised me that she was told by the carers that she had run out of ready meals when in fact she hadn't. They were in the kitchen freezer drawer but were covered over by other items.
We have been with My Homecare for one year. In that time, we found that the care very good. We have built up a good relationship with most of the carers and on most occasions make my life easier even in my darkest moments. Most times they arrive on time. One thing, I will say sometimes the care is rushed, especially the evening call which I can understand. Some carers do seem comfortable using the hoist. Wondering if they are trained to use it. Otherwise, we are pleased with the way My Homecare are looking after us. For that, I'm so grateful. Thank you.
My husband and I is very happy with the care provided by My Homecare agency, we find the office staff respond quickly and send weekly emails with care times. and carers names. The carers are on time and have a very good rapport with my husband, they notice any changes in skin or infections or any changes in health to communicate. They always tell me if they think a nurse or GP should be called. We are both very satisfied with everything.
The care given to my father by My Homecare could not have been better. He had end of life care at home from May 2024 until his death recently. The carers were very respectful, the same few carers came all the time so got to know my father well. The manager was approachable and dealt with requests to step up the level of care within 24hrs. The carers always made an effort to connect with my mother or any other members of the family who were present. We thank them all for making his last months as peaceful as possible.
My Home Care have done wonders with my son. They have taken the time to get to know him and the family. This is the first time my son has allowed carers to support him at home. The carers are always chatting with him and the laughter that I hear during the visit is amazing.
When first meeting staff from this company I was promised many things, not a thing has happened. The staff, every call, undercut the allotted time by 15 to 20 minutes every call. The staff are lazy and spend much time on their phones. The staff refuse to read a box and prepare a meal correctly meaning meals go uneaten. In the months we've had them they have overdosed my gran on medication more than once. I am 200 miles away. I have always done the shopping Friday to be delivered Monday. They also need to give me meter readings and refuse to do so. Currently my gran has little food or toilet paper and the office are letting her go without. How is that ever okay? Again I'm 200 miles away with no support in the area, I cannot see some things. No staff are English, they have very little interest the client. My gran's health, wellbeing and mobility has gone down since using this lot. Proceed with caution and have cameras installed if you are entrusting your vulnerable oldies to this company.
All staff are fantastic and couldn't do enough to help you. The best carers I have experienced in the last 10 years, excellent service.
Very satisfactory with all staff have really helped in every aspect of my life.
The carers are generally good. Some are excellent.
The care my mum receives is good, it would be even better if she had the same carers on a regular basis. Over the last year, there has been many and this leaves her confused on occasions. Going forward I would really appreciate for My Homecare to try and send the same people to care for my mum.
The carers are very helpful. Always smiling.
I am very happy and grateful to the management from My Homecare. I have had support and help whenever needed. The manager is always approachable, she and her office staff are most helpful and deal promptly with any problems which arise. The carers are well-trained, respectful and reliable.
I find the cover that my mum receives is far, far better than I could've imagined and hoped for. She is very, very happy with all her carers.
Very kind, caring, smiley, respectful and informative, clean and very friendly. Thank you so much for all you do, above and beyond.
We have found the care to be amazingly good. Our uncle seems to get on very well with his carers. They seem to treat him as a friend as well as a client. He looks forward to seeing them each day.
I have found with all the carers that I have seen are very helpful and understanding. Can't find fault in any of them. I would recommend this company to anyone. Thank you so much.
If you like an extended family feel to your care, this is a great company to choose.
All staff are devoted and work hard and are sympathetic and do a wonderful job (they deserve a medal). They come rain or shine but evening times they tend to come earlier with disturbed meal times. This I feel needs addressing at office level as we agreed pm 9 pm, not 8:15 - 8:30 pm (am times are ok). Later is better and my wife can digest her meals properly. Only one other problem, some of your carers don't speak very clear English and I can't always understand what they are saying.
My homecare staff are very professional in the work they carry out. They arrive at the correct time, know what is due to be done, are well briefed and caring. The staff are also friendly, make time to chat and I am very pleased and lucky to have such good support at home.
