View Full Details of Errand Plus and Personal ServicesMy Carer(s) where very professional, friendly and efficient, They attended my Apartment at the times we agreed in a timely, prompt manner and were very professional and understanding in the care they provided for me. They were very proactive, exceeding my expectations and carried out household tasks for me which I would have struggled with personally. Much appreciated and highly recommended.... Thank you
Went beyond what might reasonably be expected of a service provider.
The word carer is a misnomer in this case, as they were extremely uncaring. The carers were unpleasant, sloppy and untrained. My mother became frightened of them. I arrived on the morning of the last day to find her in a dreadful state, crying without her glasses or her dentures. I had not been informed of how bad she was feeling and immediately phoned the GP. She was taken to the hospital and I phoned up Social Services to say that I never wanted them in the house again.
Good
The care is fine, the only problem is when they do the washing up, they don't put it away. Also, being late for the teatime call, can't blame the carer as it's the driver.
My mum and sister were concerned about carers coming to the house after my mum came out of hospital, however, the carers have been friendly and supported my mum very efficiently. My mum has confidence in them and enjoys the conversations. They talk about her interests and the music she likes, even playing some of her favourite music for her. The carers have advised about creams to use and about night pads, which we had not considered and this has been very helpful and cut down on the washing. The only thing my mum and sister find a little difficult is the different times that the carers arrive sometimes they are early sometimes late, but they have always turned up. The carers have never missed a session since 22/12/23. My mum has carers 4 times a day and this has made a big difference to her and my sister who was doing it on her own.
I do not know where these reviews come from as I have never had such bad carers ever. My mum has Alzheimer’s and food is covered so she can’t get at it. Like giving a dog a tin of food without opening is the only way I can describe this service, no spoon with cereal, no personal care given, no medication given. This company should not be caring for anybody ever!
The care they provided was simply excellent to my mother in her last few days of life. We had night and day care, both of whom were excellent and knew what they were doing. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they really showed supreme levels of professionalism, respect and kindness towards my mother and our family. I can't thank them enough. I also spoke to the director of Errand Plus, and he was very helpful and responsive to helping us and his team to provide what was needed in what was a fast and rapidly deteriorating situation - all was done that could be done and for that I am forever grateful.
Too many trainees who couldn’t cook meals properly or wash mum, doors were left unlocked, it became very stressful. We were in the process of looking for new carers when Mum became ill was hospitalised and never returned home.
The carer provided was very helpful to a very elderly person. The carer treated him with great patience and respect. Care was provided promptly as it was needed urgently. Contact with the company was very helpful.
The carer who looked after me was wonderful and a real credit to the agency. Nothing was too much trouble and we got on really well. She helped me sort out a lot of stuff to go to charity and helped me sort out my flat which was brilliant. I felt very sad when she finished, but I felt better for knowing her and enjoyed our friendship. We got into a regular routine which was good.
Following discharge from hospital, the care provided for my father-in-law was exceptional. Hardworking, kind, caring staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Would thoroughly recommend this care provider.
My 4-week daycare package was excellent. The 2 carers I had were both cheerful and positive enabling my recovery to eventually mean I could look after both myself and my husband again. Nothing was too much trouble and encouraging me to become mobile after my hospital stay was so much appreciated. They were both respectful helping with my personal care. I couldn't have asked for better.
Overall, fully satisfied. Carers are very pleasant and willing but I find \,on occasions, the language barrier difficult as I have now very recently become slightly deaf. The only thing different I would like to have soon is more continuity of care, as explaining things to different carers can be a bit daunting, otherwise, no complaints.
There is only one word to describe Errand Plus care and that is outstanding, from management to all staff. The support for not only the service user but the family is exceptional. I could not be more grateful.
Satisfactory.
Very happy with all the help provided from the carers, they help with everything needed and are on time every time.
Very helpful carers nothing too much trouble. My mum gets on with them they are friendly. She was worried about having carers in but was very happy with them. Help her in the shower as her's is over the bath and she is unsteady and worried about falling. Makes her meals and helps her get ready for bed. All-round happy with this service.
All the careers including supervisory staff have been exemplary in the care given to our mother. Please pass on the family's gratitude to all carers attending her needs!
Very friendly staff they have gone above and beyond for my father. Excellent time keeping. Very polite and respectful. Great interaction with my father, they treat him like a family member than a client. They have helped my father come a long way in a short space of time.
