View Full Details of Herts at HomeThis relates to Herts at Home for one of their flexi care schemes. Most the staff care about their clients shame some let the service down managers just worry about the money and don't really care if you need help at night time has a carer on site but can't really do much.
I work with a resident at Lea Springs since he moved in in 2022. I have been working with him in the capacity of a Creative and autism practitioner as my client is autistic. It is a pleasure to work alongside the team at Herts at Home. They have been instrumental in helping to ensure my clients wellbeing is at the centre of their support whenever possible. This can be difficult at times as my client is autistic and therefore can be difficult to understand. To enable a person centred approach I regularly liaise with the Herts at home team to ensure we minimise misunderstandings and are focused on his needs. This is especially useful if my client develops a urine infection, or any other problem as it impacts his behaviour and responses therefore this professional relationship is appreciated.
The care team and their manager were amazing during the Xmas period whist my parent was very poorly. They went above and beyond keeping a closer eye on them monitoring regularly I truly believe that their dedication is the reason that we never lost the most precious person in our family and for that I will be forever grateful. The whole care team are brilliant they do a great job and the support the manager has given to me has kept me going. Thank you all so much.
Mum is very pleased with her care. They treat her really well and are helpful and friendly at all times.
Mum has been in a care home for a couple of years now. She loves the place. The care team look after her very well, always makes time to talk to her, always cleans up after her, makes sure she's fed and always has a drink with her. Whenever I see her she always says what a lovely bunch the staff are. The team always lets me know if there's an issue or she needs something. I like the way they try to encourage her to take part in anything going on in the community lounge. Her health is always looked after as the team will liaise with the doctors/medical teams. I cannot fault anything, continue the good work it's much appreciated.
The manager and her staff are not only very professional by polite, warm, caring and a privilege to have to look after my sister. She has nothing but great praise for them and they do more than required to assist and make her life better.
The care and support for mum has been outstanding. Working closely with family i.e. myself to keep regular updates on Mum's needs which are all being met by all staff involved. Mum struggles daily and nothing has been too much for all the staff involved.
Mum moved into Temple Court in July 2024. I am/was thrilled. Mum has landed there. The three carers are an amazing team who provide an exceptional service. It cannot be improved in any way. Just continue, please! Thank you all so much for everything! The care staff including Tilly are also fantastic and provide love which counts.
Herts at home care for my mum. The care manager is always contactable and approachable, friendly and puts my mother's needs at the first priority. Without her and the team my mother would be in a home but with their help she's is able to live in her flat and still feel independent. I rely on them heavily to inform me if Mum is unwell or needs help - they go above and beyond their duties. The carer is committed and encourages her team to help my mum become independent again. Their commitment to her makes life more manageable for me and my family who already have our own family and jobs to juggle. A special mention to four staff members in particular, they are a credit to your company and can see the love they put into their work. I work in housing and it's a very tough job for very little money but what they do is so valued by me and my family without these employees, my mum would have a very different life there! So thank you to all the team. You are doing an amazing job.
My nan has been having a morning carer for over a year now. The carers get her washed and dressed for her day. They make the start of her day a positive one as she had dementia. I always hear them laughing with her. Their care is wonderful and they always let me know of any concerns. They are my second set of eyes which I appreciate enormously. My nan always looks forward to seeing them. They make sure she is washed and dressed appropriately for the day. She loves spending time with them and talking about her life. Wouldn't be without them now as this helps both of our mental health.
Mum has formed a lovely relationship with her carer already and feels really safe and supported by her, we were wondering if there is any chance she can be more permanent. Also Mum wanted to say how lovely another carer is too, she's forming a lovely relationship with her too.
My mother was looked after at home by Herts At Home in her apartment in Bock Hertfordshire. She died at 101 years old in her own bed with no stress and I believe in the fashion that she wanted to leave. She had wonderful care by being visited Four times a day by two carers from Herts At Home for the last year of her life and your personnel always arrived with a smile looking smart and with a great attitude. The support from the line managers was also tip-top when it came to sorting out problems with medicine and doctors and all the other problems that become day today with a very elderly person. I would recommend this company to anybody with an elderly or disabled person that needed home care especially as I have heard horror stories from some friends and relatives.
I am very happy with their service. My mum receives the best care and loves all her carers. I receive regular updates regarding any changes to Mum's needs, care and health and feel assured that Mum is being well taken care of by the management and carers alike.
I wasn't looking forward to moving into a flexicare place at all until I started meeting the team of Carers. I have been knocked sideways by their warmth, friendliness, and true, honest care. I am not at present in need of total personal care but after having a knee replacement, my care requirements will escalate dramatically. Knowing the Care Team as I do now, I have no qualms whatsoever about the care I will receive. I think the only way I can put it into words that will truly express how I feel is to liken each and every one of them as a wonderful friend with extra bits of love and understanding that can only be found in the biggest hearts; My Carers are simply the best and I could not recommend them more highly.
After the length of time it took to get my aunt through the doors of Fountain Court I was giving up hope - dealing with the Council and Social Services has been a long and arduous task. I lost faith in finding someone who knew what they were talking about, who did what they promised and who truly cared about my aunt as a human and not just because they needed to tick another box. Thank goodness the Management Team at Herts at Home did the above and so much more. From start to finish they made the whole experience seamless. From initial phone calls, home visits and follow-up emails, nothing was too much trouble. Had I only dealt with them at the beginning of this journey I know it would have been much quicker, far less painful and without doubt, more efficient. The care plan was put in place with immediate effect and additional things that I requested were done immediately, making what could have been another hurdle painless and for that we are forever grateful.
The healthcare has been excellent for my mum from the very beginning since she moved into supported living. There is always support from the health care providers whenever we need it. They listen to us. The carers really go the extra mile to make each visit nice for my mum. They are so kind and really do care.
My dad is a resident of Fountain Court, I cannot thank the staff enough for the excellent care. Recently my Dad had a fall which resulted in him being hospitalised. All the staff dealt with the situation in such a helpful way. I feel they genuinely have formed a connection with my father and the family. The carers all keep my father in positive spirits and they support him with his mobility issues.
