View Full Details of Specialist Care Team (Lancashire & Manchester)I cannot praise these guys enough. Every single one of them shows care, consideration, and compassion for my Mum. They go in twice daily to check she is all right, administer her tablets, and check her hearing aids. But they go above and beyond. Always checking if she has eaten and making her a drink if she wants one. Recently my Mum had a fall (UTI driven) and the staff that came to Mum's showed concern and support above and beyond their list of "Duties". As Mum's Dementia progresses we will have no qualms about having these guys more often as Mum is really happy with them and they have made such a huge difference to her, and to our peace of mind knowing Mum sees someone twice a day. Thank You. Thank You. You are all angels.
Very caring and friendly staff who are willing and able to assist with all my needs and requirements. I would have no complaints as all needs are met and catered for in a very friendly and cheery way. Very efficient.
Specialist Care Team have been supporting my mum for quite a while now, and they visit her in her home. They have been tremendous in the care they offer and are very communicative in their style of what they can do and what they can't do, which is very helpful because it allows us to make choices that suit us based on what they have said. The carers are always very friendly and supportive to my mum and advise on not just her personal care but on other health matters that relate to her and get other professional bodies involved when she needs things. I had another organisation before who were not very caused and actually caused anxiety and stress to my mum, but this is the complete opposite with this team. Great service.
My father is well cared for by all the staff assigned to him. If there is ever a problem, I am informed immediately. Nothing is left to chance. He clearly enjoys the time that the carers are with him. He knows he can speak to them about any problems he has, and they will sort it out for him. Staff are friendly, polite and professional in all aspects of their work and clearly care about their clients. This then he's me to put my mind at rest when I am not with him, knowing he is in good hands. Thank you so much.
I am quite satisfied with some of the care I receive. The only thing is your get used to someone, and then younger/new people come. I don't want to complain - they have to learn the job.
Staff are always very kind. Suits my needs - laugh and joke kindly at this moment in time.
Very good talks to her and help her be calm and leaves me to stay without worry.
I have had a very positive experience with this company. The carers are all very respectful and very friendly. They are all ready to help me in any way I need. I have no complaints whatsoever.
Pros: like my regular support staff. Like singing with staff and having fun. Like my day visits hours in the afternoon. Cons: don’t like changing times and rota. Not letting me know when staff are sick and sending other staff - find it hard to get hold of the office at times.
Confidence, reassurance, privacy and get one well. Walking to the toilet from an armchair with a walking frame.
Get on with most of the staff and get on well with two particular members of staff, find them so easy to chat about my problems and also do cooking and stuff. I would like one lady as my key worker because she is so easy to get along with and very helpful and the same as the other lady carer.
The Specialist Care Team have really helped me when I have been struggling through hard times. They have always been really caring and there for me. Couldn’t have done without them sometimes as they are great and really friendly.
The overall experience is very good with the help given to do cleaning and cooking with some days set aside for special cooking, say a cake. On a regular basis, a weekly menu is laid out for the week, then usually Monday, the support staff go with my son to do shopping. The time of visits do need to be as regular as possible to keep the client on an even keel, and this sometimes slides and upsets the client.
Overall good place. Sometimes wish I got different staff, as some staff I get on better with than others, apart from that, they have been a big help to me. Wouldn't want to use anyone else as I have gotten used to them now.
I appreciate everyone that takes care of me. Thank you all; I am very happy with everything that the carers do for me. I only have good things to say about them. Bless them all!
I can find no problem with the staff. They are all very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble.
I am very pleased with the carers; they are nice, friendly and helpful. We are grateful to all the staff for the help I get. Thank you very much.
The care and attentive of the care staff are respectful, attentive, thorough, cheerful and conscientious.
I have found that everyone connected to the Specialist Care Team are excellent. Very well trained, always polite and very willing to do anything for myself.
Extremely impressed with the team that look after my mother. They treat her with dignity, respect and also are very supportive of myself and my younger sister. Their ethos is to not only support my mum but the whole family. I’ve been overwhelmed with the professionalism of the support workers and look forward to their visits. They look after Mum brilliantly and also offer advice on how to treat different ailments. I feel well-updated after each visit, and they go the extra mile; they even do household chores when they see I am unable to. I would highly recommend the specialist care team to anyone who needs help with personal care, and my mum is just as content as I am. Well done everyone!
