View Full Details of Seasoned Hands CareSeasoned Hands Care is new to us (husband) but we are very pleased with the care given (super!) and hope it will stay this way.
Seasoned Hands were extremely helpful in setting up morning visits to check if my husband had taken his medication while I was away at a conference for a few days. Not easy, because my husband is not always very cooperative. I was swithering between 4 and 5 stars because entering the report on the app sometimes took longer than expected, but the management have assured me that this is a problem they have dealt with. I will be using Seasoned Hands' services again soon.
When my mother-in-law suddenly took ill and was put in palliative care, Seasoned Hands was the only care agency that was willing to help. They were caring and professional. The girls who tended to my mother-in-law treated her with respect and dignity. Without them we would not have been able to bring her home. We used them for eight months before my mother-in-law sadly passed away. The owner was amazing, what a star she was from the very first day Mum came out of hospital. They also try and send the same team out so that they can get to know the client's needs.
Over a period of ill health before admitted to hospital we found the care and attention given to my mother to be extremely helpful. My mother became friends with her carers, she found them to be very kind and understanding.
On multiple grounds, I had to discharge their services. I could not have been more disappointed. There was nothing about their services that I can describe as satisfactory. I feel very badly let down.
Seasoned Hands have a great set of caregivers. Each and everyone is friendly and polite while providing good-quality professional care. They always listen to my needs and are ready to help as best they can.
The team that have all done caring for me and all are very good. I have an order of preference. I especially like one lady; she is very understanding of my needs and very sensitive to her care. We get on very well together. But I have much appreciated the visits of all the staff who have been very helpful. I really depend on their caring help, and much appreciate their smiling, friendly manner.
At the age of 93 (close to 94), I am confined to my one-floor apartment in a tenement built in 1824. I spend much of the daytime in an adjustable reclining chair in my living room. I move to my kitchen/dining room for meals with the support of a trolley. My carers change my nappy up to three times a day. I do the food preparation and cooking myself since my carers overcook everything! They are not happy to be excluded. Their skills as nappy changers (I have become incontinent) are good. To me, they are friends!
Although some of the carers are good at building a rapport with myself (client), others aren't and do not attempt much communication. Agreed tasks are usually done, but there are still times when these aren't done to a satisfactory level (wet washing left on a dry bed). Points are raised regularly with management and noted down, but this rarely trickles down to carers, so issues don't/take a while to get rectified.
I am happy with the service provided by the care team. They are quick to notice if there is a need for extra vigilance and will try to rectify any problems occurring. We are supposed to have two carers, but sometimes that does not always happen. But this is due to travel issues, which is no fault of the carers.
Service is satisfactory and reliable. Carers are cheerful, friendly and competent. New carers are introduced to the family prior to becoming regular carers. The management check either by telephone or visit personally to check that the service is satisfactory.
Seasoned Hands Care provided a great care service to my wife, settling her back home from the hospital and re-enabling her. Staff are cheerful and very professional, and management is very proactive. All-round excellent care is given, which my wife and I are very grateful for.
We were very impressed with the way in which Seasoned Hands Care were able to come to our rescue when another company withdrew suddenly. And on another occasion of crisis, Seasoned Hands Care responded really quickly in rescuing us. I like the way we have a regular carer and a team of assistants who we can get to know. They cope very well with the problems of caring for him, though sometimes have difficulty understanding them through the masks. It would be nice if they could talk more to him. We are finding it very expensive, and frequently, the visit takes a half-hour.
My husband has a complex set of needs, and Seasoned Hands has proven themselves to be both reliable and caring. The former is a particular achievement during a pandemic. The staff are cheerful and trustworthy, and managers are evident on the ground spot-checking and engaging in quality appraisals.
Seasoned Hands Care looked after my mother-in-law for a year when she needed intensive support at home (two carers four times a day). We were very pleased with the care they provided and with the good relationships the girls built up with her over that time. In the whole time they looked after her, we were never let down, and we had a very proactive relationship with the leadership team. I would not hesitate to recommend this team to others looking for friendly, professional and reliable care for their relatives.
Seasoned Hands Care have looked after our mum since May 2021 following her discharge from the hospital, and they have always been reliable, professional and very compassionate and caring for Mum, giving us all great peace of mind. We have an excellent working relationship with the team of carers, and it is really helpful having the app and regular contact for everyone to keep informed and to enable any adjustments to be made in a timely manner. Mum has greatly benefitted from their care, and we would be very happy to recommend Seasoned Hands Care to others. Thank you for the fantastic work you do at Seasoned Hands Care and the help given to our mum and our family to increase the quality of all of our lives.
My son has been receiving support from Seasoned Hands for just over four years. Both he and I are very satisfied with the care and assistance he receives. Therefore, I have no hesitation in recommending them.
Seasoned Hands reacted really well and quickly to our call for help when my mother took ill. I live 350miles away from my mother, so knowing she is in good hands is essential. I use their app, which gives me visibility twice a day into my mother's condition and what the carers are doing for her. We have been using Seasoned Hands for about a month now, and they have always been professional and reliable, and as such, I would definitely recommend them. More importantly, my mother has benefitted greatly from their support and enjoys her daily interactions.
Seasoned Hands Care have cared for my mum for more than a year. Their care was exceptional; they do really care with compassion. Their staffs and management team were phenomenal. Their care turned my mum's life for the best.
They are so professional, kind, caring and compassionate have looked after my mother for years, and I have never had a complaint. Just one visit from them will convince you; they are the best people in the world, and I thank them for all their help.
