View Full Details of CareUK247We are satisfied with the service provided. All the carers who provide personal care are very caring. Easy to approach the care coordinator. The care workers are treating my mother with care and dignity whilst providing personal care.
My sister has Down’s and suffers from dementia. The care she is receiving has been exemplary, and has allowed us to cope with the situation we now find ourselves in. The main carers have been outstanding when it comes to making my sister feel comfortable, even to the extent of learning some Makaton signs so that they may better communicate with her. They constantly reassure her (and us) about what is happening, helping her (and us) to relax. We are always pleased to see them as they are now like a part of our family.
Main issue is leaving heavily soiled washing for me to deal with and not rinsing off the faeces and soaking in cold water. Also not wiping dirty surfaces and clearing away all dirty tissue paper etc. The bathroom is not always left in a clean state.
I don't always get the full-time that's allocated to me. Sometimes I have new carers who come to me but I'm not ever told I will be getting a new carer which is very unsettling for me as I'm a vulnerable woman who lives on my own. Some of the carers are very good but some aren't so good.
The team of carers who are currently taking care of my dad are considerate and respectful. If I have any requests on behalf of Dad, the carers always listen, and we try to come to a suitable agreement which works within the timeframe that is provided. The office staff always answer all queries and requests I might have on behalf of Dad. Dad is still getting used to receiving care since being discharged from a long stay in hospital, so it is still very much a work in progress.
Overall ok. It would help me if the carers filled in their online visit log as fully as possible as generally my mother is unable to remember what care has been given. Also, some visits are quite a bit shorter than the allotted time. Although I do appreciate that my mother is not always very talkative.
Would like rota times to be carried out every single day as I have an early call from the district nurse. Asked for a 7:30 night call but it is on the carer's rota still as being 7:15. Carers do not stay with me as long as they should which is three-quarters of an hour.
Very caring and dedicated staff. Pleasant and polite. They care for my husband.
I am very happy with the care and support I have been given by the care company. The management try their very best to provide continuity of the carers that call and care for me. The carers are very supportive and treat me with complete dignity. I requested that I have a female carer in the mornings for personal care and this has been kept to that, only on two occasions a male has been sent due to unforeseen circumstances. The timekeeping is good but could be improved. Overall very happy.
On behalf of my husband who is receiving care after a stroke and is now disabled and unable to speak or write, his care has been given by Care247. The staff are very caring and supportive.
CareUK247 are the first care company I have ever had to use. The service they provide is exceptional. The carers are always focused on customer needs always willing the change cares visits to suit my social. The team have an extensive training programme to meet the changing needs of the client base. I’m very fortunate to be supported by CareUK247.
