View Full Details of Helping Hands Home Care (Shipley)One of the hardest things to share is your personal care with a stranger. In their introduction Helping Hands Home Care (Shipley) felt professional and a plan was easily made. My care was 99% perfect and the 1% was sorted without fuss. I have recommended your services to my peers. Many thanks.
Although needing some support, my cousin was reticent to have strangers in her home “telling her what to do”. Keen to exercise, I organised a Helping Hands Home Care (Shipley) carer to take her for a little walk and make her lunch. This quickly became the highlight of the day. The carriers were increased slowly to four times and they became trusted friends who knew her well and she knew them. They acted professionally, efficiently and were very thoughtful and caring often going the extra mile and recommending things to ease my cousin's life and ways of doing them thank. Thank you to the carers at Helping Hands Home Care (Shipley) for brightening her very quiet and what could have been isolated life.
Dear Helping Hands, Your Shipley branch has been doing everything requested and all carers remain friendly and competent. About a week ago a young lady carer arrived when I was cross having failed to send an online order to Argos. She told me to try again while she watched, and halfway through the process noticed I had ticked the wrong box. When the process was repeated without the box ticked the order went through and a new watch was delivered the next day. Today a male carer has reorganised table lamps needed for use at night, as well as noticed that a recently acquired bunch of flowers in a vase sitting in bright sunlight on my windowsill needed the water to be topped up which he promptly did. Important though apparently insignificant details like those make me grateful to your intelligent team of carers.
We have been using Helping Hands Home Care now for nearly two years. First for my dad and now my mum. I can't recommend enough. The understanding and support given is just wonderful. And that is just for me! The respect and kindness that has been shown to both my parents is just wonderful and makes me feel instantly reassured when I'm working and I know mum is going to be checked on and cared for.
Absolutely delighted with Helping Hands Hime Care. We have had them looking after my Aunty since January and their caring, courteous, and professional manner is exceptional. The team take time to chat to my Aunty and in doing so have built up a caring relationship with her which for us was essential. If we have had to alter or change dates or times for hospital visits it has been doing gracefully and with total understanding. Well done Helping Hands keep up your excellent approach to helping us care for our loved ones in their own home.
We were very grateful for the excellent care given to my mum during the time she was looked after by the staff at the Shipley office. We were able to go on holiday in the knowledge that our mum was safe and well looked after. The staff went the extra mile by doing little things like going to her favourite shops to buy in her favourite meals. They also took her once a week to her hairdresser which helped to get her out of the house and continue to enjoy something she always looked forward to. Our mum really enjoyed the visits and loved talking to them. The staff kept in constant contact with us to reassure us everything was going well and that Mum was OK. Although we were fortunate to be able to visit Mum regularly, it was extremely reassuring to know that there was someone with her two or three times every day.
I am very happy with the service I receive from Helping Hands Home Care, I have been using Helping Hands Home Care for over three years. The carers are very friendly and helpful. My regular carer who comes every week has organised a jigsaw exchange which is a godsend to me. I have really enjoyed exchanging jigsaws with other customers. I really enjoy my carer's visits.
I have been really impressed by the quality of care my dad has received. All the carers I have met have been polite, friendly and ‘caring’. I check the app daily to see if there any issues. If there are any problems they are dealt with quickly and efficiently. The office contact me immediately if they have concerns and these are dealt with promptly and thoughtfully. I am genuinely very pleased with this agency and as I live over 100 miles away from dad it is reassuring to know that he is in such capable and caring hands.
I have to say that I have been totally impressed by the performance and service that the staff provide at Helping Hands Shipley. No task is ever too much for them to do and I know that my father is well looked after and is in safe hands. So far, my father has thoroughly enjoyed the care that he has received and looks forwards to the visits and especially on the days he goes out and about for lunch. He sees the carers as family rather than staff. My father really appreciates the long car trips to the food establishment where he used to live, as he thought that he would never be able to visit this restaurant again - due to the distance, therefore we would like to say thank you to the team for coordinating the care so these trips can happen.
