Companionship care going well. My husband is much happier now that there is more continuity of the same carer weekly. The staff are helpful, willing and good companions. Overall, we are satisfied with the service provided.

Home Instead provide a carer daily at lunchtime to cover the Live-in Carer's break. They are a lovely team of people, each willing to adapt to whatever needs to be done that day, companionship, cooking, personal care. Their care is consistently given with patience, empathy and good humour. My parents really enjoy seeing them each day. The office staff are also kind and supportive. They responded quickly to help us with a couple of last minute emergencies recently. The whole team are really appreciated by our family.

My mum has been receiving a twice a day home care / personal care service from Home Instead for 18 months now. It took us a long time to find a suitable care company before Home Instead visited. We have also used the live in service occasionally for respite purposes. Home Instead have made all the difference in allowing Mum to remain at home rather than being admitted to nursing care. The staff are professional, well trained and entirely reliable. They go above and beyond every day to deliver a fantastic, compassionate service always mindful of her dignity and wellbeing. Staff work closely with myself and the team are flexible and responsive to particular requests to ensure individual needs are met. It is a pleasure to work with Home Instead and I can't recommend them highly enough.

Although our care package that was arranged for Mum turned out to be only for a short period of time, the service we received from the office and Management staff was excellent. Everyone was compassionate, and responded professionally and extremely quickly to the urgency of our situation. The Care staff that were introduced to, and visited Mum were polite, kind and helpful. We would recommended Home Instead and would use their services again in the future should the need arise.

Our 93 year old Mum has a diagnosis of mixed Alzheimer's/dementia and needs support to enable her to continue living in her own home, where she is safest and happiest. After a period with a variety of care-pros, which showed us that Mum could not cope with seeing so many different people, Home Instead provided a regular care-pro, who is absolutely wonderful with our Mum. He has taken the trouble to get to know her background and find areas of interest to chat with her about. He alternates domestic tasks with talking with her over a cup of tea. He told us that Mum 'always has a good bit of conversation that just needs a bit of chat to bring it out' and he is sensitive to when to chat and when to let her rest. He is skilled at following the care plan, and also using his initiative when there are issues. We love reading his detailed reports on the secure app, which are so informative for the family. We also find that the people in the office team are responsive and communicative.

I needed a temporary short-term care package for my husband who has Alzheimer's and Home Instead provided exactly what I wanted. It was a pleasant surprise to discover that the carer was someone we already knew and this helped considerably. My husband was very pleased with the level of care and help he received.

We started using Home Instead services in November last year as my father was showing signs of dementia which has now been properly diagnosed. I liked that they did a minimum of one hour shifts so there was a decent amount of time spent with him rather than someone just rushing in and out to help with his meds etc. The original professional that was paired up with him was an instant fit so he enjoyed the time they spent together and he felt it was like a visit from a friend rather than someone there to assist him. Unfortunately, she has left the company, the other two that came in to replace her didn't gel. It was worthwhile trying the different people as it helped show what we needed for it to be a better fit. The office staff have been helpful with trying to find a more suitable match and the current lady we have seems to be a promising match as she had similar interests as my father.

I have been touched and impressed by the incredible standards of care and honest attention to detail. The carers at Home Instead are superb, going above and beyond the every day to make sure my mum has the best care and support. She has made good friends with many of her carers, who give her the utmost support. They are very special and kind people. It is always reassuring to know my mum has such a great support network helping her in every way and also helping with her cat.

Home Instead starting supporting my mother and stepfather with an urgent care package just before Christmas. It was uncertain whether my mother would resist this support, but they worked hard to support my mum to feel comfortable and assured. My mum was admitted to hospital at the end of January, and they have been going in to support my stepfather, they have been kind and compassionate, he has no verbal communication, but they have really taken the time to know him and build up a rapport. I cannot thank them all enough for all the support to my mum and stepdad and also to myself; they have been one in a million.

The carers who come in are all really nice and take good care of Mum. They change bed and put washing on. They ensure my mum's hearing aids are charged which is great. Excellent service all round. Very respectful staff, communication is excellent with family.

All the staff are really good and make sure I have everything I need. Having the staff coming in has made a huge difference to my life and giving me company and helping with my dog. Office team are really friendly and always do what they can to help.

Girls are all lovely. Made a difference to my life as I get out more and do shopping. Really enjoyed my trip to the safari park, Staff are very pleasant and always helps with anything they can and are very patient with my dog.

Home Instead Carers looked after my parents for over 2 years. They were excellent and worth their weight in gold. They would go to the shop for messages, do housework, administer medication and have chats with my parents. They alleviated the stress from my sister and I. I would thoroughly recommend Home Instead.

My mum has been looked after by the Home Instead team since January. She was a bit reticent about carers coming in, however, the team at Home Instead worked with times to make it accessible. The care staff are kind and considerate and there is never any issue with any tasks. The office team have been very supportive with mum as she has had many hospital admissions and always ensure the best experience for her.

I have been a service user for the last 13 months. I have used two other companies and this is definitely my best experience. There has been good continuity of care with regards to carers and care by individuals has been consistent, although some better than others, but always good. Any problems have always been addressed straightaway and properly and have only been personality clashes which can't be helped. Nothing to do with the standard of work or quality of care. Everyone is friendly, willing to help and caring.

My son has been with a few care companies since he became dependent on outside help. All previous companies just were not providing the care that he required and I can say the last company demoralised my son that much that his character changed completely from a fun loving person to being angry, bad-tempered and depressed but since my son has been with Home Instead Care Company after a few months with them I could see my son was more relaxed and his character shining again! So thank you Home Instead.

I have had a few care companies in the past which has not been the best experience, Home Instead are miles ahead of others, from management to care staff I can’t find any faults. I now know what good care is and the care team never have a problem when I request or ask for anything. I now have the best levels of care and support from the care team with great person-centred support and always have a good attitude towards myself when supporting me. With the high standard of care I receive, I highly recommend Home Instead to anyone looking for a care provider, glad I made the move to Home Instead, the best care provider I’ve ever had supporting me. Thank you to all at Home Instead for all you do for me which I’m truly thankful for, A+.

1) Changed morning times without being asked, once this had been sorted over weeks they have been very accommodating. 2) Not all carers know how to make breakfast. 3) Previously not all carers were willing to do the personal care. 4) Management does not return calls.

Very responsive and supportive care provider. Management are knowledgeable and accommodating, even at short notice. All care provided is with efficiency, kindness and a smile, exceeding expectations. It's great to have continuity of care as this really matters to us, rather than having different people coming to visit.

Home Instead Carers looked after my parents for over 2 years. They were excellent and worth their weight in gold.
