I needed to set up home care for an elderly neighbour before being discharged from hospital. It was essential to research and find a good, reliable and professional agency. And WOW! Have we chosen well! I called Right At Home on a Friday afternoon, the care manager visited and assessed her in hospital on Monday and care commenced on Tuesday. She was then able to be discharged home same day. The care is exceptional. Manager listens and acts on any concerns and implements changes to care plan when needed. The careers always arrive promptly with a smile and often a hug, nothing too much trouble. The on line access to the rota is so helpful and allows us to see who and what time the carers are coming in. After every visit, I am able to read the audit written by the carer. The visits enable her to continue living at home independently with support! She loves the girls. As well as the physical care, the chats and laughter are a tonic! Better than any medicine! I contacted this company because it was local as I needed help at home following major surgery. The package was set up really quickly. I was visited by a member of staff to see what I actually required and to assess the suitability of my home for their staff/carers. I had daily help for 17 days and found everyone to be friendly, caring and willing to do both personal care and household tasks. This made me more independent and able to cope when they left. I looked forward to their visits, and laughter being a good medicine too!

From the moment we first met with the manager of Right at Home we knew we had chosen well and that Dad would be in safe and caring hands. All of the caregivers were always so helpful, polite, and friendly. After only the first few visits we felt very comfortable with the carers being in the home and we could not have imagined coping without them. Every visit often began and ended with a smile and/or a hug and encouraging kind words. They would chat with my Dad and there was plenty of laughter. Nothing was ever too much trouble. All the staff, including the manager, went above and beyond on many occasions, including making special trips out when it was necessary. None of us expected my Dad's palliative care to be as short as it was. However, the care he received was excellent and we as a family are so grateful for the incredible support we received both during those difficult last days and also since Dad passed away. I would totally recommend Right at Home without any hesitation.

At last I have found the right care agency for my dear Mum! I can honestly say that Right at Home have changed my and Mums lives for the better. We had tried several other agencies but they did not compare to the excellent care mum is now receiving. Right at home are genuinely caring and very professional. Mum now welcomes the carers into her home whereas before with her Alzheimer's she didn't want to open the door! It's clear to see why Mum is now so much more stable and happy. The carers speak to her with respect and her every need is met. The care team always go that extra mile to ensure Mum is safe and comfortable. From my experience Right at Home carers provide the quality of care you usually only find from nursing care. Online client access to the roster and carer comments for each visit is invaluable. It's very reassuring to see how Mum is feeling and means any issues can be immediately addressed. Thanks also to the management and co-ordinators. Your carers are a credit to you!

Right at Home has provided a very good care service to my husband every morning. They were all punctual, removed their shoes and gave a cheerful greeting. They all worked efficiently and were well-informed on their client's needs. I found all the carers were friendly and interested in my life and we always had a brief chat. It has been a pleasure to have their help every day.

Our first contact with the Care Coordinator was excellent - so friendly and would go the extra mile to help meet our needs. Despite changing Mum's needs a few times, Right at Home were able to be flexible and provide what we needed. Carers were on time, friendly and helpful. I'm sure it can't be an easy job, especially when clients might be challenging! I would definitely recommend Right at Home and am just about to start using them again for Mum as her needs have increased. Thank you!

Very impressed with the standard of care, Mum feels more secure and praises the friendly caring nature of the carers. I like the way she gets to see different carers each week as this helps keep her mind active.

The staff are very nice and helpful to my mum, who can be difficult to deal with. Nothing is too much trouble for the carers; washing, dressing, cleaning, feeding and hoovering. I would strongly recommend anyone needing a carer to contact Right at Home. The office are easy to discuss any issues with. I'm glad I chose Right at Home to supply carers for my disabled 90-year-old mum.

The staff are fantastic. The office is always quick to act on any problem there may be with my dad. If I call the office, I can always talk to someone who understands our situation. The caregivers go out of their way to help and care for my dad, and he tells me he is very fond of all the girls and how kind they are. He loves to chat and enjoys their company. The cottage is cleaned and his ironing is always done. We are very lucky to be able to use this company, I honestly don’t know how we would cope without them. We fully rely on Right at Home who have never let us down and who have helped us beyond their work at times of extra need. Thank you.

We have been delighted by the service provided by the ‘lovely ladies’ from Right at Home. They are all so kind, caring, compassionate and professional. They provide my mother with daily support and it is good to know that she has a friendly face to talk to every morning. They help her with all sorts of things from taking her to pick up her prescriptions to helping her decorate her Christmas tree. She would be lost without them!

Absolutely brilliant. Since Mum has been receiving home care, our quality of life has improved incredibly. Not only is Mum gaining strength and confidence but as a family we are settled and feel secure that Mum is seeing someone every day and all her needs are being met. I recently went on holiday and for the first time, I wasn't constantly worried about whether Mum was ok. I felt relaxed being away knowing "her lovely girls" as Mum calls them were caring for her. I can't recommend you enough. It certainly has been a life changer for us.

Right at Home care has been the best we've had - having tried many local companies. They care for my (sometimes difficult) parents with positivity and patience. Their communication is excellent, and they work with me to resolve the inevitable problems that occur with old people and dementia. Some of their care staff are outstanding.

I have been very impressed with the care package that has been provided by Right at Home for my elderly mother. The company have been great to work with from the outset. They made the initial booking and setting up process as smooth as possible and were able to cater our package for my mum's specific needs. They have been really flexible and provided additional care when it has been needed, which was much appreciated. All the caregivers have been polite, friendly and professional and quickly established a positive working rapport with my mum. Mum feels extremely confident and comfortable in their care and has really benefited from the social interaction as well as the physical care provided by the team. We are both extremely grateful for the care that is being provided by the company and I have no hesitation in recommending them to other people who are in need of care and support for elderly relatives.

Right at Home have been looking after my mum for nearly two years. When I needed to find carers, I was very worried about availability and would my mum 'take to them' as she was very particular and demanding. Right at Home responded very quickly, I had a care package in place in a few days. They also took time to understand her character and her wants as well as her needs. This resulted in my mum having carers she liked and who were also very competent. Since day 1, Right at Home have treated my mum with great care and compassion and have been very flexible and responsive to changes. I would definitely recommend the team at Right at Home.

Right at Home provided kind, caring and attentive care for my mother right up until her death in November 2022. In particular, her end-of-life care was exemplary. The team so obviously communicate regularly together which helps so much. None of us really want 'strangers' in our home performing essential personal care, but I do believe my mother was very grateful for everything they did and felt very loved. It was certainly a comfort for me as I live a 3-hour car journey away. I spoke to my mother most days, often 2 or times a day and I do not recall any 'issues' with a single member of the team. Thank you all very much.

Right at Home have been outstanding in helping to assist with a night carer for my mum. From start to finish, they've been attentive, professional and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was sorted out really quickly. Their follow-up service is wonderful, always checking if everything is OK or if there's anything that can be changed/amended. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again in the future. I contacted Right at Home for support for my mum who has early-stage Alzheimer's. I needed someone to be "me" as I was unable to visit her as often as I thought she needed. From my first conversation with Right at Home, I felt confident they were going to meet the needs of Mum and I. After meeting the assessor and one of the care providers, I knew we were going to be OK! They have met my expectations. Mum has said how she enjoys their visits and especially the company. This helps her to lead a more fulfilling life.

The Right at Home team assessed me with the support of my brother and a few minutes into the conversation I felt these were people I could trust to come into my home. I was recovering from cancer and the chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment had left its mark. The side effects left me weak, unmotivated and very low in mood. I live alone and also have a long history of depression. When carers came to visit they always went along with the way I was feeling. Always showing me respect as an individual, they assisted me with housework, shopping, and gardening and kept me company. As time went on and I grew physically and mentally stronger, they took me out and about. Eventually, I felt well enough to go out for coffee and felt more confident getting back into some form of normality after a very challenging period in my life which began in September 2021. They were lifesavers and I'll never forget how they boosted my self-esteem and helped me regain my confidence.
